“This bookstore is inside the school and the entrance is through the church office to the side facing the main parking lot. The bookstore is a decent size and has a variety of literature. I found exactly what was I was looking for and was helped by a pleasant store assistant. The Bibles I purchased were quite reasonable compared to other big name bookstores. I highly suggest coming here to purchase Christian literature instead of purchasing on Amazon or an online reseller. Supporting local businesses and community organizations is especially important during these times.”

The books are free for the taking, but I'd hope that you'd leave a donation if you can.If you have books you'd like to donate for other readers to take up, keep this place in mind. That's how I found it - looking for a place to donate gently used books. I assumed (incorrectly) that they only needed children's and YA titles for the many kids involved in their out of school program. But in fact they also have books for adults. A true literacy center. So I'll be back with the many non-kid books I'm parting with.I wasn't taking on more books during my visit, I was getting rid of them. But glancing at the adult section shelves, I saw several of my favorite books there.The staff are friendly and welcoming. And after dropping off a box of kids' books, I received within 24 hours an email thank you, which noted the number of books I had given and suggested an estimated value per book - in case I might need some documentation for a tax deduction. That's wasn't my motivation, but it speaks well for the organization that they attend to thanking donors.Stopping in on a weekday afternoon, I found ample street parking available, and had a spot right in front of the store.Will be back!”

There's even a bookstore cat (Millie), & the person working the counter said we could stay as long as we needed even though we got there towards closing time. He was so nice & a humble guy. “Went for “Date Night” last night and it was wonderful. On “Date Night” a couple has the book shop to themselves with a carafe of wine, candles, and music for 90 minutes. My wife is an avid reader and I knew she would absolutely love it.Claire, one of the owners, set everything up before we arrived at a small table with lovely napkins, and glasses, filtered water, etc. We brought some munchies to have with the wine.It was very relaxing to peruse the collection of books especially local authors.Before we left Claire and my wife discussed some of the books and authors they both read. Could not ask for a better experience.Highly recommended.”

“Decent store, good inventory of newer stuff, decent wall books (that I haven't determined if the price is fair). the one gripe is that the parking lot is the worst parking lot I have ever stumbled across, It's at an extreme incline and the curb surrounding the slightly narrow ramp is around a foot high so missing will not do well for your car. But that's not their fault just proceed with caution”

They are so sweet and accommodating and hugely helpful when finding books or toys. I buys all of my kids toys here and they LOVE this store. The selection is incredible and perfectly curated to have wonderful options for everyone (especially diverse selection of POC authors!). The owner is fantastic and has saved us TWICE when my son left his lovey in her store. She knows my name and is so kind every time we go. Honestly nothing beats supporting this incredible local business. This sweet women even put his lovey in a bag with my name on it when she found it because she recognize that it was my sons. 100 stars ?”

I noticed some books were out of alphabetical order, but it's otherwise well-organized and easy to find books based on a genre/interest. “I had a wonderful experience buying an 120 year old book from PRBM! The book I wanted was being sold by Barnes & Noble for $30 but was in pretty poor condition with lots of water damage. I was able to find it being sold by PRBM for $35 in such perfect condition and they even offered me free shipping! The buying experience was so easy. Everyone I talked to from email to phone call, were extremely nice, friendly, and professional. With the book, they included a little slip with information about the books owner history and where it's been. So awesome! I will definitely be purchasing from them again.”
