Hollywood Feed
1129 Savannah Hwy Suite 100, CharlestonAdopted a new dog from the humane society on Saturday. Went into my favorite Hollywood feed in West Ashley. They were so helpful! Having girl for less than 24 hours and trying to buy food and give her a bath was quite challenging. Without the fantastic help at this location it could have been rather much. Truly so thankful!
In case you don't know, they do have two self-washing stations in the store that are very reasonably priced, better than other places.
Happy holidays and thank you again!

Dolittle's
22 Windermere Blvd F, CharlestonAMAZING PUPPY PLAY GROUP!! My veterinarian recommended that we join one of their age appropriate puppy play groups to get some socialization and I’m so thankful! Our 14 week old puppy had a blast while being safely supervised by two trainers. All participants were required to show proof of vaccinations. The space was spotless and clean. The trainers were really knowledgeable and kind. My only regret is that we didn’t start earlier. (You can begin as early as 10 weeks!) Highly highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back next weekend !

PetSmart
2076 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, CharlestonWonderful grooming experience all around yesterday at PetSmart near Citadel Mall. Easy parking & the entire dog grooming dept is well run with competent and friendly staff. Easy to make appts online with price bundles - - even choose your stylist by name & the exact services you want from basic to spa options. Kayla and Faith gave our dogs the best cuts ever. They called to make sure how I wanted the head and ears cut & then called back with a 20 mins heads up for pickup. Really appreciated the detail to cutting their nails & fur around the paw area. We will be back! Lots of parking too & a vet clinic inside. Must show rabies vaccination with shots at least 48 hours prior to the appt. Highly recommend!

Zen Dog Spa
57 ½ Windermere Blvd, CharlestonZen dog spa is amazing!! I have a six year old long hair Germans shepherd. I took her to a professional groomer once when she was about 2 years old. A few hours into the appointment they called me and told me to come get her because “this isn’t for her”. I have been so anxious to take her to any groomer since. I have been doing it at home on my own. I am now 28 weeks pregnant and unable to do it on my own. I made an appointment with Zen Dog Spa just hoping for the best.
They were so welcoming upon arrival. They took the time to ask questions about my dog and her grooming history. I was very anxious about leaving her. They texted me throughout the appointment giving me updates. I was so incredibly relieved to hear that she did very well! They were able to complete the appointment with no issues. Bath, trim, nails, paw pads and a little dematting around her rear end. Her coat looks the best it’s ever been and she smells amazing. I can’t believe I didn’t reach out to them sooner. I can tell my dog also feels relieved to not have an itchy coat!
Thank you so much for taking such great care of my girl. I will definitely be back. 10 star rating if I could! Incredible staff and talents here.

704 Orleans Rd, CharlestonWe LOVE Dr. Campbell and ALL the office staff! They all really care about our pets and us as a family!! We have experienced many vet visits, from the regular “well checkup” to the sad visits where we have had to choose euthanasia, and everyone at AMW has always been very supportive and caring! I feel like Dr. Campbell and ALL of the veterinarians there that we have seen always give us the most information that they can about our pets and allow us to make our own decisions regarding our pets’ treatment and care! I also highly recommend their grooming services, which are in the same office! They always do a fabulous job on our goldendoodle! :)

Clements Ferry Veterinary
2020 Wambaw Creek, CharlestonOur Reba, a 6 year old rottie, became very sick and had emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder. Dr. Padgett had laid out all the options but we felt very confident that he would conduct the surgery. Dr. Rains conducted all the tests before and after care. Both doctors were so caring and responsive to our needs for Reba. All the technicians and staff round out the professional team dedicated to Reba's care. This is an on-going progress, Reba will need further care. We feel assured that Clements Ferry has the expertise and is the best place for a positive outcome.

Folly Road Animal Hospital
1038 Folly Rd, CharlestonI’ve been taking my animals to Dr Tom for almost 10 years. He is great and so is his staff! I’ve always been impressed with his knowledge and proactive approach to treating my animals. If he doesn’t have an answer to a question or concern I have during the visit,he researches one and calls me(himself) with the information and how to proceed. I appreciate his upfront and realistic approach and really appreciate the fact that he doesn’t try to capitalize financially on high emotions during a pet crisis like some places in this town. I scrutinize quotes for procedures and invoices and have never felt that the costs were unreasonable. Trust me when I say this, if you want a solid vet experience, give FRAH a try.

Oceanside Veterinary Clinic
1509 Folly Rd, CharlestonWe were evacuated to coastal Sc from Asheville after hurricane Helene. The aftermath prevented us from getting to our home and we left without anything, including my pups laundry list of medication. Between the evacuation and being off his medications for a week he was in a bad spot, and I am SO glad I called these guys! They just made everything happen so quick and easy to straighten things out and get replacements of all his meds, even his controlled medication. The best part, when we went in for the cursory visit (only needed since he takes alprazolam and they hadn’t written for him before), we didn’t strop foot inside! My dog has extreme anxiety that’s worsened by an absorption issue in upper gi (which was currently uncontrollabled and unmedicated), and a tech came out saying it was already in their notes that our pup had extreme vet anxiety and offered a “backyard visit”. It was perfect! We walked around to a grassy covered back fenced in yard with nothing in it to make it look like a clinic and the vet examined my dog right there in the grass so he never knew he went to the vet! We left.5 minutes later with the last of his scripts in hand and reassured that there was a group of capable people I could take my dog to while we are here in town waiting for news on our Asheville home! Highly recommend !!!

Pet Helpers Adoption Center and Spay/Neuter Clinic
1447 Folly Rd, CharlestonThe absolute best animal rescue. I've been supporting Pet Helpers for over a decade, and it's always the best experience. I adopted my now 13 year old cat from here as a kitten and visit often with my daughter to socialize the kitties in need of homes. We absolutely LOVE how they care for their animals and truly do their best to give them a home-like atmosphere. The staff and volunteers are always so kind. You can tell everyone truly loves the animals.
Most recently I needed to rehome my mom's senior dogs as she moved into hospice care and then passed, and the experience was top notch. Not only did they find a wonderful home for them as a bonded pair, but they had the best medical and social care along the way. In what was such a hard time for our family, we knew my mom's dogs were in the best hands.
Pet Helpers will always have our love and support. We can't thank them enough!
