“I like the concept and you can sometimes find rare gear here that you may have trouble even ordering online. However, the prices are about the same as or sometimes even higher than new. I think this is the place to come when you are looking for gear treasure instead of a deal or you really just want to support the cause of reusing perfectly good gear instead of buying new.”

“We were visiting Knoxville for the weekend, and after failing to find a prom dress in Nashville we saw Katie's Kloset and thought we'd give them a try. We found the perfect dress, but wrong color, so after talking to an employee, she sent us to the other Katie's Kloset down the street. They had the dress my daughter wanted in the color she wanted for a very reasonable price...better than ANY prices we saw in Nashville. Thank you, Katie's Kloset for your attentive staff and outstanding customer service!”

“Love this place. When I moved to Murfreesboro this was the first place I hit up for decorating my new place. If you beautiful AND unique one-of-kinds then this is definitely the place to go. I found this super cute aqua greenish end table that someone had lacquered or glued or whatever these pages form encyclopedia from like 1912 all over it. Has all these awesome old school drawings of plants and whatnot. Anyways it's super cute and wouldn't have gotten it if I had not gone here.”

“They let my daughter try on every dress in the store almost. The girls are wonderful and help so much. They are honest and will tell which one looks the best. We love the owner, so friendly and sweet. The lady that does the alterations is fabulous. She did a perfect job on the dress to make sure it fit. Definitely buying from them again and sending everyone there!”

“(Giving a 4 star because of the other employees and the content of the store.)I visited this store for the first time today. It is a nice store full of all kinds of treasures. Unfortunately, I will not return due to the rudeness of one of the gentlemen working there (maybe owner?). I caught the end of the conversation he was having with another employee. He caught my ear because he was sounding so caustic and rude, then I realized he was talking about me, and more specifically, my "large bag". Evidently he had put a sign on the door that I failed to notice...I was actually looking for the "open" sign when I walked in. And to be honest, my eyesight is not great. The sign must have said NO LARGE PURSES, but I just had a policeman tell me to NEVER leave my purse in the car. If I had noticed the sign I would never have gone in the store. I offered to let him look in my purse; heaven knows it has been searched enough times in the past few years! But he rudely said NO and walked off.If someone had pointed out the sign to me I would have been glad to leave.”

“I took my daughter here to get her junior year prom dress and she and I loved it! Found a perfectly fitting dress and there were so many options. The dresses were organized nicely between size, color, and length, and were affordable. Great quality dresses at great prices. The workers were very helpful and friendly. Wish they sold tuxedos for my son. Great store, definitely coming back next year.”

“This place is much larger than it appears from the road. It looks like a small shop with a small parking lot that's often full. I did not realize that there's lots more parking along the side of the building as well as in the back, nor did I realize that the vintage booths inside would seem to go on forever. It's easy to spend hours here just looking at all the fascinating things. Each booth is unique not only in what it offers for purchase but in aesthetic as well. Lots of creative displays, so many colors, so much to look at and discover.”

“This is one of my favorite Knoxville shops. Always unique finds there whether it is a fashionable boutique look to an array of seasonable items for home decor. My latest purchase was an antique Singer sewing machine. Lovingly restored by C & S Refinishing and Upholstery. They were impressed by the high quality of the piece. Worth mentioning this is a family business and another great reason to shop local.”

“We accidentally end up at Wee Care. We met the owners at the front door and off the back, what a nice welcoming people. Loved the welcoming conversation. We did not find what we came for, but the owner made few phone calls to business nearby, and with her their help we got what we need. The place is PACKED with all kinds of stuff, but mainly kids/ children stuff. Must visit.”

“OMG!!! One of the BEST mid century emporiums I've been to outside of Florida. Gorgeous furniture (new and vintage) and decor. Love that the store is so well laid out...because it's not overcrowded you can really focus on and enjoy each piece. If you're in the area, it's well worth a stop in. And bonus points: there's a delightful coffee/bakeshop next door.”

“Super cute place. Almost anything you can think of is here somewhere in some form or fashion. You might spend hours wandering through looking at random things and you'll enjoy it and you'll probably buy something you don't need or maybe it's something you always wanted and then think you would ever find again. Either way grab a coffee and take a wander through the maze of Goodies here”

“Thanks Karm. My little girl was able to afford the big, beautiful baskets she needed for her Christmas gift idea this year! All of them together cost less than one basket, at any other store! Merry Christmas!”

“Love thrifting when I'm out of town. KARM was great - furniture pricing is a bit high and misleading if you're not paying attention. Staff is great and super helpful.”

“First visit to the Knoxville location after being to the Alcoa twice now. Very happy here too. Took a bag of clothing in and they bought all except for one hoodie. $80ish cash or $120ish trade. About 18 items. Very worth it! This time I elected cash, although my last visit to Alcoa I elected trade credit so I could spend it on a purse for my wife.Staff: The Knoxville location was very friendly and staff spoke with me a few times.Clothing/Items Being Sold: Personally I liked the styles and items at Alcoa better, but the nice thing about thrift stores is that products are always changing! There is nothing wrong with the selection here! Both stores have a great selection!Overall I really recommend this locally owned shop. Both of their locations are top notch and both have a top notch staff..”

“I was afraid to stop with all those negative reviews; I’m glad I stopped. The prices weren’t bad compared to other 4’letter stores. Coffee mugs were $2, the discount table $1 and they dis have different color discounts. Great find!”
