The mobile ding repair did a horrendous job on my car and left it to where you could visibly see ripples and indentions. After taking my car to Dingz Happen, I could not be happier! I can’t say enough good things about Austin Body Works.
Our son was on his first trip out of state when he had his very first car accident just a few blocks away from the shop around 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. My husband called Austin Body Works, and the gentleman who answered said they could stay a few extra minutes so our son could come by.
They didn’t just stay a few minutes. The team helped him when the other driver followed him to the shop, and one of their employees spoke Spanish and was able to communicate with the other driver to gather the necessary information.
They checked the car to make sure the fender wouldn’t rub the wheel and confirmed the door shut and latched properly so it would be safe for him to drive home. They also took the time to speak with us on the phone and explain how Texas collision procedures work so we knew what to expect.
Our son is high-functioning autistic, and situations like this can be overwhelming, especially when you’re far from home. Their patience and kindness made a stressful situation much easier.
One of the lighter moments was when our son asked if they could have the car fixed by Monday… just three days away. We all had a good laugh.
They stayed well past closing on a Friday evening to help someone else’s kid after his first accident, and we are incredibly grateful for that.

I had attempted to fix rock chips myself, with poor results (making one of them even worse, even), but Jessie was able to undo my atrocious attempt and make it seem like nothing ever happened. “Truly one of the best mechanics in town. Having maintenance knowledge myself, Danny didn’t recommend anything that didn’t need to be done on my vehicle. He’s a straight shooter and goes above and beyond to make sure customer vehicles are road ready. He was very communicative throughout the few days my vehicle was with him. He’s very knowledgeable and on any given issue he is transparent about what needs urgent attention versus what might need attention in the future. You can confidently take your vehicle there, and rest easy knowing that your vehicle is in good hands.
Prices are acceptable given the quality you’re getting. However, some services like a synthetic blend oil change are on the high side of the range ($60). With car maintenance, you get what you pay for and Danny is providing honest and quality service to the people of Austin. Worth every penny.”

“Autocraft Bodywerks is a great place to get your vehicle repaired especially if your insurance (i.e. Nationwide) partners with them. I had to get the front of my Audi SUV repaired and they did a great job with the actual repair work. Their customer service is really good too as they will try to get you any details that you request (Sarah & GM Daniel were very helpful).
Only feedback I have was that I had to reach out on my own to the shop to get more timely updates as there were a lot of moving parts in my specific repair with insurance and parts. So I was having to call in more often to see what was happening with vehicle and figuring out next steps. They provided with me updates every time I called tho and they have a smaller team so patience is needed as they get fairly busy.
They are partnered with many of the major brands so definitely recommend checking them out!”

The staff is great, my quoted time of repair was very accurate, they treat you with consideration & are very communicative. “I’m so grateful for these guys. They got my truck in within 1 hour of me calling them. I had hit a deer and it damaged the front of my truck pretty bad. They were so thorough with the inspection and didn’t hesitate to have the adjuster from my insurance come out multiple times when they found more damage. They were super detailed about what they inspected and Javier kept me updated the entire time. They are honest and operate with a lot of integrity and it shows. My truck is back with me now and looks better then before I hit the deer”
“Anmar is a delight to work with. He's always got a smile on his face and a willingness to do whatever it takes to help you and your vehicle out. Yesterday, I dropped by to have him check out a strange metallic clicking noise on the left side of my old truck and he diagnosed that there was a broken valve stem inside my wheel. While he doesn't work on tires, his clue led me back to my tire shop where I got it all cleared up. He's earned my trust and loyalty over this past year and I don't hesitate at all to refer my friends to him.. except occasionally I worry that he'll be too busy someday soon...”
“I had such a great experience with these guys. Jonathan was so patient and kind with me and made the process so easy. I had 2 insurance claims from 2 different companies. They made sure everything was perfect.
I had a brake caliper mount come through my windshield which means there was glass EVERYWHERE. I also had someone back into me and dent my tailgate. They caught damage that I and the insurance company had missed.
When I got my car back, it was cleaner than when I picked it up from the dealership, there was no trace of the glass anywhere in my car, and you would have never known anything happened.
Where they really went above and beyond is the fact that they filled up my gas tank, put air fresheners in the car, and bought me a new steering wheel cover, and paid attention to the fact that my last one had purple rhinestones on it.
This was such a great experience. I hope to never need them again, but I know where I’m going if I do.

“Isaac and his team have been the absolute best regarding the repairs on my vehicle. The day after Christmas I was hit by a red light runner. My car was sent to their shop mid January through recommendation by my friend. I just got my vehicle back at the beginning of April.
They navigated all insurance talk with the adjuster and helped get my car back on track. It’s crazy to be without your vehicle for so long due to repairs taking place. Every step of the way it has been easy to work with Isaac in the process. He was very communicative from start to finish. My vehicle had a ton of aftermarket parts and wiring (so sorry Isaac lol) that needed to be approved by the insurance in addition to regular parts. As you can probably imagine the process is very long and drawn out due to insurance, approving and pushing back on what they feel is appropriate. Regardless I am overly thankful to have received the recommended to utilize this shop for my vehicle. I did not want to go to a shop recommended by the insurance company of the guy who hit me. It did not feel right and honestly I would advise against it personally.
If you were looking for a shop, I would highly recommend these guys. My car is literally back to normal once again. For the quality, I would say pricing is on point but my costs were passed onto the insurance of the other driver.”

“North Lamar Body Shop was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Mark, the owner, is incredibly friendly, honest, and genuinely cares about his customers. He gave me a fair and transparent estimate for the body work my car needed and then went above and beyond to make it happen — even driving all the way to Houston to personally pick up the parts.
After being rear-ended, my car had significant damage to the rear, and Mark had it repaired in just a few days. He kept me informed the entire time, patiently answered all of my questions, and even provided a loaner car so I wouldn’t be stranded.
When I picked up my car, the quality of the work completely exceeded my expectations
