I can’t say enough good things about Austin Body Works.
Our son was on his first trip out of state when he had his very first car accident just a few blocks away from the shop around 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. My husband called Austin Body Works, and the gentleman who answered said they could stay a few extra minutes so our son could come by.
They didn’t just stay a few minutes. The team helped him when the other driver followed him to the shop, and one of their employees spoke Spanish and was able to communicate with the other driver to gather the necessary information.
They checked the car to make sure the fender wouldn’t rub the wheel and confirmed the door shut and latched properly so it would be safe for him to drive home. They also took the time to speak with us on the phone and explain how Texas collision procedures work so we knew what to expect.
Our son is high-functioning autistic, and situations like this can be overwhelming, especially when you’re far from home. Their patience and kindness made a stressful situation much easier.
One of the lighter moments was when our son asked if they could have the car fixed by Monday… just three days away. We all had a good laugh.
They stayed well past closing on a Friday evening to help someone else’s kid after his first accident, and we are incredibly grateful for that.

“I want to highlight something specific about my experience at Cameron’s Tires. About a month ago, I thought I had a nail in my tire, so I left the car with them for what I assumed would be a replacement. When I picked it up, the owner told me it actually wasn’t punctured after all — no replacement needed.
He easily could have just sold me a new tire anyway and I never would’ve known. Instead, he was honest, even though it meant less business for him that day. That kind of integrity is hard to find…if you’re in Austin and need tire work, please give them your business.”
“Been doing business with these guys for about four years now. They’ve helped me out with a multitude of things like tires, wheels, off-road accessories, batteries and even helped me with the restoration of my ’79 Bronco.
I’ve moved a little farther away since I first started doing business with them, but I still find myself coming back anytime I need something that falls into their wheelhouse. Good people who know what they’re doing are hard to find these days, especially around Austin, so when you find a shop you trust, you stick with them.

“I’d like to recognize the outstanding customer service provided by Jose, the manager at Discount Tire on Hwy 620.
I discovered a flat tire on my truck, and fortunately I had a certificate on that tire. The damage was on the sidewall, so it couldn’t be repaired. To make things more complicated, my spare was so old it disintegrated when I tried to use it. With no usable spare, I couldn’t drive the truck to Discount Tire, so I hauled the flat tire there in my other car.
Jose took it from there. The identical replacement tire wasn’t in stock, so he arranged to have one brought in from another store. He also recommended a more economical tire to use as my new spare. Once the first new tire arrived and was mounted, I could bring the truck in to address the remaining issues.
Jose then suggested a smart, cost‑effective plan: use one of my remaining older tires as the spare and mount both new tires on the front of the truck. Discount Tire even called me in ahead of my scheduled appointment when their workload opened up, keeping everything moving quickly.
Bottom line: Jose guided me to the most economical solution, coordinated the entire process efficiently, and kept me informed every step of the way. Excellent customer service from start to finish.”

Get the right tires after finding my original have been discontinued. He also secured a repair to my damaged rim for safety and aesthetics. Top notch service. This past Saturday August 29th. Side note it’s always lovely to chat with Dan and Brooke in the office. These are amazing people and amazing staff and an amazing environment. Highly recommend them to anyone in all I come in contact with. Just mind your manners as sometimes I forget to do so. I’m a very outspoken person.”
“I chose Youngblood not only because they are close to where I live, but also because the early hours they have on Saturdays. They install tires that are brought in by a 3rd party (for a cost) but it's reasonable and they take care of the customer. The communication with me was top notch and let me know what was going on. I would definitely recommend the location in Round Rock.”
“I recommend Ken with no reservations. Excellent welder. My Panamera wasn’t driving quite “right.” My mechanic suspected this was related to some dents he saw on my wheels. Reached out to German Auto, who recommended Ken.Called on a Wednesday, scheduled for Thursday, picked it up on Friday, just in time for a road trip.Car drives nice and smooth like it’s supposed to, and for a great price. “Came in originally for a balancing job, thinking that was causing a vibration I've been feeling. They were honest and clever — instead of just balancing it and sending me off, they told me there's no way the irregular wear I have could be caused by a balancing issue alone, and recommended I get a proper mechanic's check instead. Really appreciated the honesty over an easy sale.”

Blown tire -
Straightforward prices, straightforward salt of the earth people. These guys have been amazing. As a 5 foot tall woman I always worry that I’m going to be taking advantage of, but I can assure you that I felt completely taken care of and welcomed. I called about 10-15 tire shops, including the big name brands, and no one has a price that is going to be similar to the shop. Prices were straightforward. Nothing hidden. I felt so taken care of that I also got my tire patched and brought it back to get it balanced all within the same hour of getting the replacement tire when mine blew out I will only be coming here now!
Car wouldn’t start -
After they fixed my blow tire and patched another one of my tires, which by the way was always within 15 or for 20 minutes, I went to go start my car to leave and my car wouldn’t start. They brought out a battery to try to jump it that didn’t work. MC brought his truck over to jump it using his truck and that didn’t work. He called a mechanic and the mechanic came over within 30 minutes. He took a look and found out that my starter wasn’t working and said that if I could go get the part, he would fix it right then and there. At this point it’s almost 2 PM. It takes a while to remove a starter because you need to bring it into the store as part of their core. He was able to do it within an hour. I brought back the part and he got me out of there by 4 PM. They were the kindest made sure that I was safe and taken care of.”
