I can’t say enough good things about Austin Body Works.
Our son was on his first trip out of state when he had his very first car accident just a few blocks away from the shop around 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. My husband called Austin Body Works, and the gentleman who answered said they could stay a few extra minutes so our son could come by.
They didn’t just stay a few minutes. The team helped him when the other driver followed him to the shop, and one of their employees spoke Spanish and was able to communicate with the other driver to gather the necessary information.
They checked the car to make sure the fender wouldn’t rub the wheel and confirmed the door shut and latched properly so it would be safe for him to drive home. They also took the time to speak with us on the phone and explain how Texas collision procedures work so we knew what to expect.
Our son is high-functioning autistic, and situations like this can be overwhelming, especially when you’re far from home. Their patience and kindness made a stressful situation much easier.
One of the lighter moments was when our son asked if they could have the car fixed by Monday… just three days away. We all had a good laugh.
They stayed well past closing on a Friday evening to help someone else’s kid after his first accident, and we are incredibly grateful for that.

“My two-month old Tesla got a nasty, deep scratch from a construction dumpster parked next to my driveway. It made me sick. After talking with several shops, the folks at Autocraft Bodywerks clearly stood out as the place to go. They know Teslas inside out and promised to make the car like new again, which they did. Plus, they gave it a beautiful full wash and polish before I picked it up. These guys are Tesla certified and they’re experts. The price, while not the lowest, was very competitive—actually lower than some lesser shops I talked with. Fantastic job and great service all around.”

“I had a split rear number on my Mercedes CLK500 and we had various discussions on how to fix it. Ranging from an external only repair for $250 to replacing the bumber for close to $2,000. Since my Insurance deductible is $2,000 and I don't have the money now, we opted to do a single Drifter's stitch at the bottom where it is not very visible to stabilize the bumper for no more damage would happen from road vibration and wind, which he did for no charge. The crack of course is still there, but stabilized until perhaps in the future when I have money to fix it completely with a used or 3rd party bumber replacement.”

“Autocraft Bodywerks is a great place to get your vehicle repaired especially if your insurance (i.e. Nationwide) partners with them. I had to get the front of my Audi SUV repaired and they did a great job with the actual repair work. Their customer service is really good too as they will try to get you any details that you request (Sarah & GM Daniel were very helpful).
Only feedback I have was that I had to reach out on my own to the shop to get more timely updates as there were a lot of moving parts in my specific repair with insurance and parts. So I was having to call in more often to see what was happening with vehicle and figuring out next steps. They provided with me updates every time I called tho and they have a smaller team so patience is needed as they get fairly busy.
They are partnered with many of the major brands so definitely recommend checking them out!”

“I was looking for a shop that specialized in mufflers/exhaust because I wanted quality work, and that’s how I ended up meeting Rony at SoCo. I already knew the Borla setup I wanted, but I was particular about having the dual exhaust tucked up tight and looking clean- and they absolutely nailed it.
Rony was super helpful, fit me in, and had everything done the same day. The work looks great, the truck sounds exactly how I wanted it to, and the price was fair. Just a good dude running a quality local shop. Highly recommend! Thanks fellas.”

“I was referred to Christian for some paint touch-up work, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations from beginning to end! The whole staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming.
Star at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart. She made me feel like family instead of a first-time customer, which I really appreciated. Christian was just as kind and took the time to explain everything, even giving me a detailed overview of my car and the services.
The entire process was quick and efficient, communication was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable. It’s rare to find a place where literally EVERYONE you interact with is genuinely nice and helpful.

We came to The Rack Shop in Aug. 2025 for a consultation and Rob immediately put us at ease with his knowledge and adaptability. Rob provided excellent information on the pros/cons for each option within our desired trip scenarios. It was important for us to have a modular design that was easy to take on/off or move around depending on the type of trip. Installation was excellent and we walked away happy customers. “I had such a great experience with these guys. Jonathan was so patient and kind with me and made the process so easy. I had 2 insurance claims from 2 different companies. They made sure everything was perfect.
I had a brake caliper mount come through my windshield which means there was glass EVERYWHERE. I also had someone back into me and dent my tailgate. They caught damage that I and the insurance company had missed.
When I got my car back, it was cleaner than when I picked it up from the dealership, there was no trace of the glass anywhere in my car, and you would have never known anything happened.
Where they really went above and beyond is the fact that they filled up my gas tank, put air fresheners in the car, and bought me a new steering wheel cover, and paid attention to the fact that my last one had purple rhinestones on it.
This was such a great experience. I hope to never need them again, but I know where I’m going if I do.
