“I don't usually write many reviews but was compelled to review this specific Enterprise location because I have never received such consistently wonderful service at a rental car facility before.

I haven't had a car for 2 years, so often will rent cars for a few days at a time. I've been to DOZENS of rental car locations before but Enterprise in Sterling was unlike any experience I've ever had. EVERY employee is kind, caring, understanding and always has a smile on their face! It's like they actually enjoy working there! They are all extremely helpful, knowledgeable and any time I've called, someone has picked up right away and answered any questions I've had. I will continue to return to this location and highly recommend renting a car from this Enterprise.

“The experience going to Ronald Reagan National airport was terrible! The location is not right on the map and doesn't tell you (if you are driving in to PICK UP) that it's in Parking Lot A. It has a lower level in the garage and upper level inside the building , 2nd floor. Dulles airport, on the contrary, has its own area for Pick up AND drop off! So much better.
I actually rented a Standard SUV, which I pulled up vehicles for that, but the gentleman in the front stated that he only had a Ford Bronco for what I requested. He was offering to upgrade but I already had a standard vehicle. I believe more should have been done to provide me with a vehicle. There was no discount given for the Veteran driver I was with, which had to pay for adding himself as a driver due to the credit card situation (credit card only for deposit which is normal).
The Bronco was in top shape and clean so I don't want to Take away from that. Other than that, I had a good experience there. Would go back.”

“Simon and the lovely manager whose name I did not recall were super helpful to rent me a full-size truck as a walk-in.
I had a reservation at Budget next door but they would not rent to me because I only had a paper temporary drivers license while awaiting my permanent to be mailed to me. This was despite my other federally issued ID to confirm my identity. The moment they identified an issue, their tone immediately became curt and they had little interest in helping me despite my asking to speak to a manager.

I walked over to Alamo next door. Simon greeted me with a smile and after hearing my situation immediately started thinking of solutions rather than hurdles. He called his manager and she verified my second ID and accepted my temporary drivers license to approve the rental. Simon then completed my rental and ensured I had his business card to contact him if any problems came up. Incredible.

The only reason I did not reserve with Alamo to begin with was that the CostoTravel.com website said they did not have a full-size pickup available to rent. Simon identified they had 8-10 units for me to choose from! I did send them feedback to ensure their inventory data shows up with CostcoTravel.

I had similarly good experiences with Alamo at LAX and am so pleased see it is not unique to one location. I will definitely make Alamo my first choice from now on and Budget/Avis will be my last choice.”

“I'd urge people to avoid it on the weekends because of the crowds (thinning number of rental companies at an increasingly busy airport). But in general I've found Budget to be outstanding. Latest example: picked up a rental and almost immediately oil change light came on. Revisited and Kathy apologized and upgraded me at no cost and ensured the new vehicle had been recently oiled. Out of 10 rentals there I've only really dealt with one rude clerk, which is pretty impressive in this day and age and everyone is entitled to a bad day now and then.”

“I wanted to leave a review for an experience I had with the manager on duty "Aimal Ayaubi" for my thrift car rental that I returned on 9-28-24. after a long 2 hr drive back to the airport I was flying back to my family after a rough personal trip. I accidentally left my wallet in the cup holder of the car and took the tram to the airport. thankfully I noticed that I left it and raced back to the car rental location. if it was anything else that I left I'd probably just let it go but obviously I can't fly without my ID.

I was starting to panic because I was thinking how much I didn't want to miss this flight back home and even worse if someone stole my wallet from the car I wouldn't be able to prove that they didn't. I told the front desk what happened and Aimal came to help. but he didn't just help, he went out his way searching and literally running around the lot to see where my car and wallet had gone. it was a large lot with cars getting serviced for the next customer so this wasn't a small task. he was literally sprinting around the lot from station to station to help me find my wallet and after finding the right cleaning station on the very last car he was able to find my wallet. I was on time for my flight and came home to my family after a terrible trip and im extremely thankful that Aimal went out of his way to take care of me. thank you so much”
