“Alex Ortega La Torre went above and beyond to help my daughter open a High School checking account.
When we first arrived, we were told the wait would be over 45 minutes, despite the branch being empty. I decided to leave and go to another Chase location much further from my house but Alex actually ran up to us when we left the store and offered to help us immediately. That simple gesture immediately stood out. Who does that these days?
He was incredibly patient and kind with my daughter, asking her about her financial goals, answering all her questions, and helping her set up the Chase app on her phone. He made her feel comfortable which I appreciated as a father.
Alex is exactly the kind of employee every branch manager should want on their team. He was super proactive, personable, patient, and genuinely cared about helping us. I hope his manager sees this review. Alex deserves recognition for outstanding customer service. Chase is fortunate to have him.
One last thing is that parking is no bueno here.”

“I have been a customer of Burke & Herbert Bank for many years, and I have always been treated professionally and respectfully by the staff in this location, especially one young white girl at the teller line who is always very kind and helpful.
However, during my last visit, I had an unpleasant experience with an older teller who was complaining about her coworkers instead of assisting me. I found the behavior unprofessional and unethical, I made excuse and decided to leave the building because of the negative environment.
I am not giving one star because my previous experiences at this branch have been very positive. However, I hope customers are treated according to their needs without unnecessary comments. I also hope I do not meet that teller again. Thank you”

“While waiting in line at Farooj Abo Alabed, which is located next to a bank, a bank employee politely asked customers to leave some space for the bank entrance.
Unfortunately, one person in line responded very disrespectfully and even challenged him to call the police.
I want to clarify that the bank employee remained calm, respectful, and professional throughout the situation, and did nothing wrong.
Most of us in line appreciated his polite approach, and it was disappointing to see such inappropriate behavior from another customer.”

I recently fell victim to identity theft and was completely overwhelmed. James Gross from this WF branch went far above and beyond to help me. He stayed on the phone with fraud department for a very long time, patiently walked me through resetting all of my accounts, and made sure every single base was covered so I could feel secure again.
His professionalism, calmness, and genuine care made a stressful nightmare so much more manageable. He truly treated my situation like it was his own and didn’t stop until everything was handled properly.
Banks rarely get praised for fraud situations, but James and this branch deserve all the recognition. If you’re looking for exceptional customer service, this is it. Thank you again — you restored not just my accounts, but my peace of mind.
