“Alex Ortega La Torre went above and beyond to help my daughter open a High School checking account.

When we first arrived, we were told the wait would be over 45 minutes, despite the branch being empty. I decided to leave and go to another Chase location much further from my house but Alex actually ran up to us when we left the store and offered to help us immediately. That simple gesture immediately stood out. Who does that these days?

He was incredibly patient and kind with my daughter, asking her about her financial goals, answering all her questions, and helping her set up the Chase app on her phone. He made her feel comfortable which I appreciated as a father.

Alex is exactly the kind of employee every branch manager should want on their team. He was super proactive, personable, patient, and genuinely cared about helping us. I hope his manager sees this review. Alex deserves recognition for outstanding customer service. Chase is fortunate to have him.

One last thing is that parking is no bueno here.”

“I have been a customer of Burke & Herbert Bank for many years, and I have always been treated professionally and respectfully by the staff in this location, especially one young white girl at the teller line who is always very kind and helpful.
However, during my last visit, I had an unpleasant experience with an older teller who was complaining about her coworkers instead of assisting me. I found the behavior unprofessional and unethical, I made excuse and decided to leave the building because of the negative environment.
I am not giving one star because my previous experiences at this branch have been very positive. However, I hope customers are treated according to their needs without unnecessary comments. I also hope I do not meet that teller again. Thank you”

I recently fell victim to identity theft and was completely overwhelmed. James Gross from this WF branch went far above and beyond to help me. He stayed on the phone with fraud department for a very long time, patiently walked me through resetting all of my accounts, and made sure every single base was covered so I could feel secure again.
His professionalism, calmness, and genuine care made a stressful nightmare so much more manageable. He truly treated my situation like it was his own and didn’t stop until everything was handled properly.
Banks rarely get praised for fraud situations, but James and this branch deserve all the recognition. If you’re looking for exceptional customer service, this is it. Thank you again — you restored not just my accounts, but my peace of mind.

Noushin called countless people and spent a hour trying to resolve my issue. She was finally able to get someone to help me and get my application approved. “I don't usually comment on Google, but I feel obligated to recognize good service. My experience with the banker, Ricardo Alves, was fantastic. He was helping me close my account when he ran up against an action that he could not authorize, so he called a specialist on the phone and we patiently waited together for 30 minutes listening to a recording of "Your call is important to us..." After a half an hour of waiting, I had to leave, so Mr. Alves wrote an email to the specialist explaining my situation and asking that I be contacted. When no one contacted me after 2 days, I went back and Mr. Alves was there. We called again, but after 20 minutes of no one picking up, I stepped out to let Mr. Alves take his 2 pm appointment (which I had crashed). At 2:30, we tried again and sat another FORTY minutes until someone answered and my problem was addressed. I was truly humbled by how patiently Mr. Alves worked with me, even though I was trying to CLOSE my modest account of about $2,500! BofA needs to work on having more specialists so that people don't wait so long on hold, but it can be proud to have bankers like Mr. Alves who show compassion and dedication in their work. Thank you, sir!”

“9/23/22On 9/20/22 I stopped by this bank for the first time. I have seen people coming in and out of this place for years since I moved to Virginia. To think this use to be a Wachovia Bank at one point in time. Yes, a name many people might have forgotten.The bank wasn't very busy when I arrived. I was pressed for time due to my break ending, but I had to see if this bank had credit card sleeves/protectors. One woman was doing something Anna here teller window was closed. The other teller was counting money for a customer. The one person ahead of me had something going on and taking to much time. Again, I was pressed for time.The office had a unhidden office space while the other office spaces had walls around them for more privacy. This was on the left hand side. Chairs for the more serious matters than depositing or withdrawing money are on the right hand side.The man and teller were still going about their business and I was running short on time. All of a sudden Princess Leia and I suspected she might be able to help seeing how strong the force is with her.Leia...I mean Princess Leia, did not seem to to understand what Credit Sleeves/Protectors were so her quick answer to me is big fat no. Pitty, several other banks...no... financial institutions did not have these items either. Looks like I will order off of Amazon.”

“Long story short, this bank branch is all that, AND a bag of chips. Plus the super size. And it's vegan, gluten free, and fat free. And when you come here, someone somewhere plants a tree. Not really. But probably. I came here yesterday in the middle of a massive heat wave and explained something a little complicated - our loan company (who is a small company out of state and is unfortunately NOT Wells Fargo by the way (but we bank with WF)- though after this experience we wish we would have just started with them to begin with) was getting tight on the timeline with our closing documents, and we had to essentially find someone who was not only a notary public, but also someone willing to print the 100 page loan document and sit there while we signed it because we had to get it back to them for the closing but my husband is out of town this weekend yada yada yada and you can see why this hasn't been the simplest of requests. Not only did the staff here willingly take care of our request (and sit by while we waited for the email to show up), but they did it with a smile. We ended up not getting the documents until today at pretty much the last minute, and the staff let us stay, sign, and then went through each document with us to make sure we signed everything and got every page necessary notarized. Shout outs to the great staff - Latika, Elsa, Keith, and the great staff behind the counter - thank you, thank you, thank you for making this the best part of our loan process (besides getting a new house). Go here! These people rock.”
