“I'm a huge fan of Karma skate shop. They have a shop at the sk8 house roller rink. We bought a pair of roller skates from them and they went over and above to get my wife fitted and taken care of. They have everything you need and the best staff. I'll only buy from them from now on.”
“I got my walking shoes from here. What wonderful associates they have! From the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out, they are very nice and accommodating. They are very knowledgeable. They let me try on multiple pairs of shoes and had me walk around in them to make sure I chose the perfect one for myself. They weren’t pushy, didn’t rush me, and were very patient. “My kids love this place. Very clean facilities with monotone but friendly staff. Biggest issue is there are not enough pitch machine cages, I'd love to see an expansion of a few more. Not really a system in waiting for your turn to hit its just your on your own. Most of the time people work together, but every now and then its a many years removed from his glory days softballer taking 10 rounds in a row while kids are waiting.”

“I literally love everything about this place and have been shopping here since I can remember. I’m also a Virginia Beach local that loves supporting local businesses. Today my friends and I came into do some quick shopping and I over heard one of the employees say “I’m going to go back upstairs keep an eye on red hat & white hats” and the other employee responded with “that’s what I’ve been doing”. That’s what color hats we were wearing. I confronted him about it as I was buying a tee shirt and he completely lied to me. Mind you my buddy was wearing a wrv hat and we all support this place and come shopping there once every couple months. Just rubbed me the wrong way like they thought we were gonna steal or something.”
“We were on holidays, and was looking to spend some money, on a package deal. snd made the mistake of visiting a store in myrtle beach first. What a cluster f#%? That was very unprofessional.came to Virginia Beach, found Stikers bowl shop, and met Danny.I was looking fir a hammer Spider, 2.0, which he had in stock. He sized, drilled the ball fir me, and was able too also buy, the bag, wrist support, cleaning product... every thing I needed.Qhqt a difference, Danny , an wx player regional player, knew his stuff, was so professional and, and made us feel at home.Once I was finished, gave us a pass for a game to try my ball.I would highly recommend Danny to anyone.Thanks again Danny. “I am a regular at REI and I'm shop there a lot but I'm not a member. I spent a few grand gearing up for ultralight hiking lately and one of the items I bought early on was a Kelty Sleeping Bag from the Virginia Beach REI. By the time I got everything ready and went camping a few weeks had passed by and I noticed the Kelty Sleeping Bag had a baffle that was entirely devoid of Down. It was just never filled. Anyway, since I misplaced the receipt, neither REI nor Kelty cared, not even a little bit, even though the bag came with a supposed lifetime guarantee. I guess it's only really guaranteed for as long as the receipt lasts...so you're not banking on the quality of the sleeping bag but on the quality of the receipt's printer ink. I feel taken advantage of...
Update: I've just got the rei 50 liter ul bag yesterday .I've got 3 trail miles on it so far and it was great... however when I went to cinch up the front pocket the cord came out and I had to spent an hour fishing it back in with a guitar string. So watch the initial quality if you get one. If I was stronger I'd just keep the heavier nemo bag

“I visited the store to exchange some Sambas purchased online to attend some festivities in the area. Primarily for fashion/style purposes. This location didn't sell the style and the two employees-one is AA had a blonde wig and the other Ryan were helpful. I spent a lot of time contemplating and they were consistent in their service. I left and returned and Ryan assisted me again through conversation, ideas, recommendations and style we thought would be cute options. She brought out shoes and she again never changed her demeanor or attitude, even in my indecisiveness. I didn't buy anything after all that because we agreed what I planned was a viable option. Obviously the company is in business to sell merchandise but to experience this level of service without pressure or attitude, will definitely keep potential buyers happy and repeaters to the store. “I love coming here to find gifts for others and items for myself. They have discounted prices and occasionally run "additional percentage off" sales. If you are looking for the best deals you will have to hunt and search for them. My tips are to buy items that are off season (i.e. bathing suits in the winter and coats in the summer). They also have signs posted around the store advertising a scanner that you can pull up on your phone's website browser to price check items. I've use it multiple times and it is very helpful! The items don't always scan but in that case you can check with an employee for price questions. There are only a few fitting rooms to try on clothes and they can get very cluttered. The times that I have visited I haven't noticed much staff on the sales floor. They are either at the front checkout or in the back receiving/organizing inventory. The types of items they sell include shoes like running shoes, casual sneakers and sandals, and sports cleats. Clothing wise they have activewear, coats/jackets like heavy winter wear, swimwear, kids clothing, golf attire. Keep in mind that these are leftover excess items from the main store that haven't sold or are being phased out but you can still find great quality items. They also sell accessories like outdoor items, drinkwear, socks, hats, gloves, workout pieces, etc. The parking lot is big and easy to maneuver in and out from located on Lynnhaven parkway. Shopping carts are available and they do have public restrooms. Overall this is definitely a place I would recommend to checkout and see if you can find any good deals.”
“We stopped by yesterday on our way back home to NOVA from OBX. Called on the way to confirm what they had available and they were super friendly on the phone! We arrived and got a Donruss MegaBox and my son picked out some Pokémon packs. Again, an incredible experience. Great prices (as the reviews told us). My son pulled a Lugia V and was over the moon. He had an incredible time and can’t recommend this place enough! We come to VA Beach a lot and will definitely be back! Thanks again to the incredible staff. :)”
