“Terry was extremely helpful when we needed a new boxspring for our bed. He was able to have the new boxspring delivered in a day. Excellent service, thank you, Terry!”
“We had a wonderful experience at Ashley Furniture! Rick was incredibly personable, friendly, and helpful. The whole experience was smooth, easy, and enjoyable from start to finish. We never felt pressured and really appreciated the excellent customer service. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for new furniture!”
“Robert was the sales associate that assisted us in our search for a replacement mattress for our camper. Robert was extremely professional and promptly showed us several options that aligned with what we were looking for. Robert made the process extremely simple and enjoyable. Wonderful customer service and would gladly seek him out for repeat business.”
“Absolutely loved my experience at North Carolina furniture store! The staff are all very pleasant and very helpful. Morgan greeted me upon arrival and was very helpful in showing me items that I described I wanted like a small recliner. She showed me other recommended pieces, one of which she had picked out the material, and I loved it! She even offered to lay the furniture out in my new room if I provided the dimensions, which I did. Could not be anymore pleased with the outcome!”
“Williamsburg’s Lazy Daisy is a beautiful store to stroll through and seek out the perfect gift! You’ll find one of a kind handcrafted, treasures, unique jewelry and more!”
“Best store ever. People there could not be any nicer. They are always looking out for the locals. Furniture is of the best quality. I'm a repeat customer time and time again.”
“I was looking for mattresses that would fit a daybed and trundle. I got great advice, a good selection and a great price! So easy! Excellent service.Thank you Winsome ?”
“One of my very favorite places to go. Kellee Smalley is the consummate shop owner. Always, always willing to help you, carries the best primitive decor and always has time for everyone. The only drawback..for me, that is…is it’s in Williamsburg and I’m at Virginia Beach. I make special day trip runs to just walk around and enjoy the displays. She has an absolutely fantastic team who know how to create the most appealing vignettes. And don’t miss her Open Houses for the seasons!!! Again, just visit her shop and you’ll see what I mean. And now her wool collection!! You’ll be broke (because you want it all!!) but it’s so worth it!!!”
“Beautiful furniture and accent items. They even have other furniture in the back. The service was great. They owner has had this in her family for a few generations. Definitely worth popping by.”
“I LOVE THIS PLACE! Bought a lot of snacks/foods from other countries. Also found the pancake mix I bought when I vacationed in Hawaii in this store. Bought root beer sampler too. Highly recommend. Had a local customer help me find items I was inquiring about lol”
“I had a bed delivered and the driver ran over our well, the company took responsibility outright and made good on their promise to fix it. There are very few companies these days that are honest and responsible and this is one of them. Any mattresses I need in the future will be from them.”
“Went looking for a bed, but something else came up, so I had to put that on hold. But, the quality of furniture is amazing. I have a bedroom set that I loved and will go back at some point. My daughter purchased a patio set and it is gorgeous and very durable. And, it looks fantastic on her deck.”
“Spend hundreds in this store. Every time is a pleasure I love visiting this home goods Marshall's and Ross all 3 of these places are vary similar if your after home decor and kitchen stuff this is the place thow”
“We have worked with Vicki Bristown from Guild Hall for years and cannot recommend her services enough! She has such an amazing vision for your space, keeps everything in your budget and truly transforms your space! You are so lucky if you get to work with Vicki in your home or place of business. I highly recommend them to anyone!Service: Refurbishment”
“BEST outdoor living and fireplace enterprise in Williamsburg/Tidewater. The HEA Living owner (Barry) is SO knowledgeable, cares deeply about his customers, and will explain every detail that your heart may desire. His staff works hard to give customers the highest quality product and installation. FIREPLACE: We had HEA update two fireplaces - one masonry and one insert. I had tried to engage three other fireplace stores between Providence Forge and Newport News and was quite discouraged by either the lack of professionalism (no shows, poor communication, sent quote for wrong fireplace); poor treatment (snobby); or vague pricing the seemed set up to add surprise expenses at install. I also said No Thank You to the $150 ($195?) for a home visit that one store said was required. When we were blessed to finally find HEA through Google Maps, Barry patiently walked us through each step of the decision process and provided a line item breakdown of costs before we moved forward. OUTDOOR FURNITURE: We also purchased an outdoor furniture set with fire pit from HEA. Barry explained the difference between the various sets and when we decided on one he graciously held on to it for two months while our whole home renovation finished. This is a high quality set that will probably last longer than we do even though it will be on an uncovered deck. Super happy with this choice. COMMUNICATION: This is a busy small business and Barry's staff is almost always in the field during the day. If Barry is solo in the store with an in-store customer he does not abandon them and run to a ringing phone. I found it best to email, stop by in person, or call toward the end of business hours. Regardless, Barry always circled back with me to keep things moving forward. BONUS: Adjacent to the HEA space is Barry's wife's store that has a lovely array of indoor and outdoor seasonal decorative items. There are always cute things to buy as gifts or for your own home!”
“I’m SO glad they finally opened Colonial Parkway so I can go to my favorite Target! This store has the BEST vibe… I love it! Also, please never let go of Peter!! (the older gentleman at the registers)! He is so kind and friendly! He’s my favorite part of the store!”
“I needed to grab a few items before heading back to my room for the night and I sought out a Target to go to. I'm not sure when this one was built in the area, but it looks to be on the newer side. Walking in it was welcoming and made it feel like it was going to be a simple stop. I walked to where the items were that I knew I was going to need. The one item that I was definitely looking for was an air freshener. I was happy to see that not only did they have them in stock, but many to choose from. Unlike other stores of the caliber. The biggest hold up here was the registers. Most people are ushered to the self checkouts. There were not many regular checkouts open. Not everybody knows how to use the self checkouts, so the ushering of the people here kind of made a bottleneck and backup.”
“I absolutely love this ReStore! Every visit is a treasure hunt because they always have a great selection of items in stock. The prices are fantastic, making it easy to find quality pieces without breaking the bank. They also have a wonderful collection of beautiful antiques and unique finds that add so much character to a home. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The Manager Tony, is the heartbeat of the store. I’ll definitely be back in.”
“My classmate is in town for the week so I decided to take her to Target for Virginia souvenirs. They didn't have any. I asked your employee Annette is there were”
“I wish they had a 10 star option! I am so pleased with the design and quality of the furniture, rugs, pictures , and lamps that I purchased from this store. Also, the knowledge and talent and service that they have is supreme!!!! They are the best furniture store! I will shop here again.”
“Love that location very clean, it seems to me like that they are I guess short on staff that all the employees are pretty lazy. I went through with a prepaid order there were two people on self-checkout helping people neither one of them was helping anybody and yet they still sent me over to customer service instead of pulling their phone out and scan in my receipt and looking at my one item.”
Bob's Discount Furniture is growing while its competitors shrink. The Manchester, Connecticut-based retailer reported strong fourth-quarter results in its first earnings call since going public in February, with revenue climbing 8.2% to $648.8 million. Full-year net revenue jumped 16.8% to $2.4 billion, and net income rose to $121.7 million from $87.9 million the prior year. CEO Bill Barton told analysts the company plans to open about 20 new stores in 2026 and sees a path to more than 500 locations by 2035, roughly two and a half times its current 209-store footprint across 26 states.
Wayfair is testing a new, smaller store design. The online home furnishings giant, famous for its endless digital catalog, is trying a different strategy for its physical locations. The company announced plans to open a smaller prototype store in Columbus, Ohio, scheduled for late 2026. Located next to the Polaris Fashion Mall, the new space will span approximately 70,000 square feet.
Online furniture giant Wayfair is setting up shop in Atlanta with plans for a huge 150,000-square-foot store opening in 2026. The new location will take over the former Walmart space at The District at Howell Mill shopping center. This marks Wayfair's second big store, following its first location that opened in Wilmette, Illinois, in May 2024.
