“Do you need remodeled furniture, gifts, handmade items, its all here EVERYTHING. It's basically a inside flea market of different vendors selking things either they have made or remodeled and more I love it but if you go in for one thing you will come out with more than you wanted haha! The staff is beyond nice and sweet they can lead you to ways to help and if you also purchase something if they aren't busy they can help you with it. It's as if you are their family, amazing prices and experiences. The stair case is also so lovely and they also have a elevator for easy access and a bathroom as well.”

“One of my very favorite places to go. Kellee Smalley is the consummate shop owner. Always, always willing to help you, carries the best primitive decor and always has time for everyone. The only drawback..for me, that is…is it’s in Williamsburg and I’m at Virginia Beach. I make special day trip runs to just walk around and enjoy the displays. She has an absolutely fantastic team who know how to create the most appealing vignettes. And don’t miss her Open Houses for the seasons!!! Again, just visit her shop and you’ll see what I mean. And now her wool collection!! You’ll be broke (because you want it all!!) but it’s so worth it!!!”

“BEST outdoor living and fireplace enterprise in Williamsburg/Tidewater. The HEA Living owner (Barry) is SO knowledgeable, cares deeply about his customers, and will explain every detail that your heart may desire. His staff works hard to give customers the highest quality product and installation.
FIREPLACE: We had HEA update two fireplaces - one masonry and one insert. I had tried to engage three other fireplace stores between Providence Forge and Newport News and was quite discouraged by either the lack of professionalism (no shows, poor communication, sent quote for wrong fireplace); poor treatment (snobby); or vague pricing the seemed set up to add surprise expenses at install. I also said No Thank You to the $150 ($195?) for a home visit that one store said was required. When we were blessed to finally find HEA through Google Maps, Barry patiently walked us through each step of the decision process and provided a line item breakdown of costs before we moved forward.
OUTDOOR FURNITURE: We also purchased an outdoor furniture set with fire pit from HEA. Barry explained the difference between the various sets and when we decided on one he graciously held on to it for two months while our whole home renovation finished. This is a high quality set that will probably last longer than we do even though it will be on an uncovered deck. Super happy with this choice.
COMMUNICATION: This is a busy small business and Barry's staff is almost always in the field during the day. If Barry is solo in the store with an in-store customer he does not abandon them and run to a ringing phone. I found it best to email, stop by in person, or call toward the end of business hours. Regardless, Barry always circled back with me to keep things moving forward.
BONUS: Adjacent to the HEA space is Barry's wife's store that has a lovely array of indoor and outdoor seasonal decorative items. There are always cute things to buy as gifts or for your own home!”

I went through with a prepaid order there were two people on self-checkout helping people neither one of them was helping anybody and yet they still sent me over to customer service instead of pulling their phone out and scan in my receipt and looking at my one item.”
