“Road Runner Sports Bellevue is a great place for anyone looking for quality running or walking gear. They have a huge collection of shoes, insoles, and apparel, and the staff is genuinely fantastic — super patient and always willing to explain things in detail. I really appreciate how they walk you through gait analysis and help you find the right fit instead of rushing you.
Prices can be a bit on the higher side, especially for premium brands, but the service and expertise usually make it worth it. The store can get very busy on weekends and after office hours, so going during quieter times helps.
Parking is generally good, though it can get tight when the store gets crowded. Overall, a solid place with great service and a wide selection.”

“Drove over from Poulsbo after being frustrated by the big box stores. Best customer service experience I’ve ever had. Bought a Mizuno glove at the same price as online. Jim went the extra mile and did a little more breaking in on my son’s glove he had with him too. For Jim it’s all about helping kids and enjoying your job. Help out a tiny business in the era of online and no customer service! In my mind gloves especially are so personal you can’t buy one online, it has to be tried in person. I’m dropping my old mitt off for a re-lacing next. Cheers”

One of the highlights of shopping at Big 5 is their competitive pricing and frequent sales. I found some great deals on high-quality items, which made my visit even more worthwhile. The clearance section also offered some fantastic bargains, allowing me to get more value for my money.
The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is that the store could benefit from a slightly larger inventory in certain categories. There were a few specific items I was looking for that were out of stock. However, the staff offered to check availability at other locations and online, which was helpful.

“Nice selection and friendly staff. If the item you want is not in the store, they can order it for you and show you different colors. I like to be able to try things on and know how the sizes work, even if they don’t have it in the store at the time.
Staff is great and tells you how different things run in sizing and other items that may better fit you based on your body type.
The store is clean and spacious so you can see the items they have in store. The dressing rooms are clean and large enough to change and hang up what you were wearing. I especially like how the curtains have magnets and adhere to the wall of the dressing room so there aren’t gaps in the curtain, for privacy.
The clothing items are well made. They carry their own items as well as other companies clothing and all are quality made.
I have always found partaking within a block of the store. I like that I can order things online and return to the store without being lectured. I live in Tacoma so getting to Bellevue takes planning for me around work and busy traffic hours.”
“I'm a new Escape Outdoors customer and I'm really happy with their customer service from Joe. I was online shopping for Cyber Monday and needed some help with a few orders. An email request for a price adjustment for one order was answered within 30 minutes. My phone call for help to change a return to an exchange was also handled promptly by Joe - an actual person, not a machine. This store has a great product selection. I was able to find a popular jacket in the color and size I needed, which was either more expensive or sold out elsewhere. Escape Outdoors helped me make someone's Christmas wish come true and their excellent customer support made me feel like my money was well spent.”
“I had a great first experience here. Staff was super friendly with getting 2 pairs of shoes for my daughters. They have a wide selection to choose from. We had purchased a pair of Nikes and Disney Mulan Adidas shoes. If you are into the type of style for you kids I highly suggest to shop here. It's located on the first floor on the far end south, connected to Foot Locker. I will be coming back here for more pairs for sure. Thank you, and God bless Foot Locker!”
“As 1 of the few affordable physical shoes stores left, this is our go to for kids shoes
They have a good selection for kids And young adult shoes. A good number if different name brands and styles.
While there is limited staff, they have always been friendly and very willing to assist.
I would recommend this location for your general shoe needs.
The shoes they carry are general shoes in the mid to low price range (most under 50 with a few up to $100.
They do not carry some specialty shoes or good hiking shoes.
This allows me to provide good shoes for a huge family without breaking the bank.”
“This Dick’s Sporting Goods is legit. They didn’t have everything I needed but they were able to assist me with other options to get what I needed.
Big shout to Jacqlyn at Bellevue Dick’s Sporting Goods! She went beyond expectations with helping me find the items I was looking for, going to the back room to check and see if there was any in stock back there, and also mentioning that I could just buy it online with the cashier. Overall everyone that worked in there was friendly and helpful.

“I went to footlocker looking for shoes for my picky daughter. They didn't have the shoe i was looking for but the worker that helped me checked other stores before I said anything. I greatly appreciated the search he did. Jermaine (that's his name) helped me find another pair for my daughter. He answered all my questions and picked shoes that would not hurt my daughters' feet. Jermaine was very efficient. He understood what she was searching for and we left with an awesome pair of shoes for my daughter. Great experience!”
“I stopped by the store last Wednesday to pick up a gift for my boyfriend, who’s a big Seattle Seahawks fan. I’ll admit, I don’t know much about sports teams or logos, but I figured I’d trust my instincts and find something that looked right.
Well… turns out my instincts needed a little help. I grabbed a cap I thought had the Seahawks logo, only to realize at the register I was actually about to take home a San Francisco 49ers hat. 😅
Thankfully, the associate helping me was incredibly kind and patient. They pointed out the mix-up, helped me swap it out right away, and even guided me toward a few other items that my boyfriend will probably love.
To be honest, sports stores can feel a little intimidating when you’re not someone who spends much time in them. But this experience ended up being both positive and educational. I’m really grateful to the team member who took the time to help and made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming.
