Brent is highly responsive and the delivery service is such a great option for our recurring food and litter orders. You don't see exactly what you're looking for or the right quantities? They'll go out of their way to make it happen. A few months in, I'm looking forward to being a long time customer of this local business. Chewy came into my families life 1 year ago and he has been, and continues to be, the best dog we’ve ever owned. We are so thankful for Manor Lakes … our entire experience was fantastic, and for the last year we have been making memories with a very calm, gentle, loving, and smart dog. PetSmart
4379 Guide Meridian Rd, BellinghamJust wanted to say how amazing Ken was when we came in with my 3-year-old niece! He was so kind and helpful while we picked out snails, and when she asked about unicorns , he went out of his way to find one—even gave her a discontinued one from the back for free. She was over the moon! Thank you, Ken, for making her day so magical and her experience pet smart fun!

Petco
189 E Bakerview Rd, BellinghamThe location is convenient, great customer service and they have a good variety of merchandise; it's not perfect: the layout for cat food is in a few different locations and they don't carry a good selection of Raw cat food, but if they don't have it they'll tell you where you can find it - think MudBay but go to Petco first!

Holy Shihtzu
2025 James St STE 101, BellinghamLet's put it this way. Edgar has been being groomed since he was a puppy and is now almost ten. He has been to a couple of groomers in his lifetime and this is the first place he is actually not pulling at me to get out the door before his grooming has even started. So I know he is well taken care of and he always looks great! He's old, over weight and I know not the easiest to handle but Holy Shitzu has been a perfect fit!

City Dogs Grooming
1225 Roeder Ave Unit 106, BellinghamMy little chihuahua, Andes, is absolutely INTOLERANT of nail trimming. I finally had to take him to our vet where they anesthetize him. That’s before/ during/ and after meds, one whole day affair, $160, and much worry about this path. Not to mention how hard it is on Andes. Then I talked with
the owner at City Dogs who wanted to try her way, assuring me of no-trauma. Omgosh! She welcomed him so patiently and with so much tenderness and 10 minutes later Andes had a perfect “petacure”! They emerged with my dog snuggling in her arms, and she wanting to hold his adorable self just a bit longer. No drugs, no trauma, no worries, and new friends. And, are you ready? 20 bucks. That's right. Andes still doesn’t love getting his nails done but I think he loves LeeAnn, so he is allowing it… with her. Oh, and Hannah is allowed to assist. I am so deeply grateful! TY, TY, TY to LeeAnn and Hanna at City Dogs. I’ll never take him anywhere else.

Village Veterinary Hospital: Lucas Cindy DVM
236 36th St, BellinghamI had to bring in our cat to be put down and Village Veterinary Hospital was wonderful in a bad situation. I appreciated that they had a protocol for bringing the owners and their pet into the clinic that minimized contact with other people. The veterinary and the vet tech, were compassionate and patient while explaining the process. I was planning on using a local pet cremation business and they had the required paperwork for that business so that our cat could be picked up and I did not have to go to that business to make arrangements. I appreciate the efficiency that Village Veterinary Hospital was able to provide in providing the needed care to our cat, as well as me.

Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital: Schasch Heather DVM
2330 Old Fairhaven Pkwy, BellinghamI have a severely reactive dog and I wasn't sure how visits to the vet could ever go well for him. I told the staff at Fairhaven Vet his issues and they put together a game plan. I was very pleased and impressed how smooth the visit went. I took my boy back to get neutered and they handled it so well. The staff is very kind and understanding toward difficult dogs. Life with a reactive dog isn't easy, but Fairhaven Vet took excellent care of him and put me at ease. There's no question I will be going to Fairhaven Vet for all my pet needs.

Dr. Christine Monroe DVM
2869 W Maplewood Ave, BellinghamMaplewood has been our vet for the last 7 years and we have always been very happy with their level of care and service for our dog. Six years ago we moved an hour away but still made the drive to Maplewood -- until recently when we had to find a local vet for monthly allergy shots. Our dog is currently experiencing leg paralysis and the local vet is scheduling 2 weeks out. We called Maplewood and got an appointment next day. Dr. Dunbar was compassionate, knowledgeable, took her time, and did a thorough examination, including x-rays, and suggested it was a neurological issue, which all made sense. Enter Misti, the most amazing person you'll ever come across at a vet's office. She helped us find a specialist, coordinated with records transfer and referral, all at lighting speed and with the most compassionate heart. She is superwoman rockstar and I'm so grateful for her, Dr. Dunbar, and all the staff at Maplewood.

Mountain Veterinary Hospital
3413 Mt Baker Hwy, BellinghamCame in here over a year ago and I wasn't the nicest to the doctor. Fast forward and year later and I came in to the same doctor with an extreme emergency with my German shepherd. They took care of him right away. Unfortunately my dog passed away during surgery and they were very helpful and very supportive. Receiving a card just a week after seeing they donated to the arbor day foundation and planted a tree in his name in a fire recovery program was amazing. Very thankful for this place.

They were very informative during the whole visit & even let me stay in the office while my pup was sedated for xrays. They were understanding when I asked for my vet records to bring to my vet back home & emailed them to me while I was there!

Northshore Veterinary Hospital
1486 Electric Ave, BellinghamI would give more stars if I could. When we needed a travel health certificate Dr. Lee and her team got us in on short notice, and worked hard to make sure that we had all of the documents needed. They coordinated with USDA to make sure all of the documents would be accepted. They were proactive in identifying and solving potential slowdowns as well as proactively researching issues related to our dog's vaccinations. They thought through the problem with us an found solutions that worked. Through all of it they were patient, good natured, and professional.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

1861 Mt Baker Hwy, BellinghamI am so glad I found them! I have an extremely difficult dog, big, and sounds so aggressive. He can’t stay anywhere lol. The fact that this kennel kept dogs apart was the only way I considered it. I dropped him off and my dog was guarding me as usual. The staff were so confident and kind I felt comfortable leaving the country for a bit. When I got back and let Micheal out he was playing with them! Melted my heart. Puget Hound
3710 Williamson Way, BellinghamOur lab Bode has been going to Puget Hound since March and so far he's loving it! It was unnerving sending my fur-baby off to daycare for the first time, but the staff at Puget Hound have been very responsive to any questions or concerns that come up. I would like to give a special thanks to Abby & Riley. Abby did our initial questionnaire for his temperament test and was super reassuring throughout the process (this helped me feel like he was in good hands!) Upon drop off/pick up, Riley always has a smile on her face and (today specifically) was prompt in relaying Bode's first photos and report with me - I'm so grateful. Big thanks to all the staff at Puget Hound!

Stella Sopra Italian Food Truck
2529 Meridian St, BellinghamIf you find yourself anywhere near the Tulip Festival, make sure this spot is on your list. During our weekend of tulip sightseeing, Stella Sopra ended up stealing the show. We came for the flowers, but this little food truck parked at Tulip Valley Winery delivered the kind of meal that sticks with you. There's something magical about pairing genuine, well-crafted Italian food with a flight of local wines. Chef Alberto runs the whole operation himself cooking, serving, sharing stories, and making you feel like you've been invited to Sunday lunch at his family's table in Italy. His passion shows in every bite. I've had plenty of eggplant parm over the years, but this one? Best I've ever eaten. Served in a simple plastic container yet unforgettable perfectly balanced sauce pasta cooked just right, and eggplant that was tender and full of flavor. My husband ordered the chicken mushroom ravioli, and I was tempted to sample half of it. Big, pillowy pasta filled with rich, savory goodness an absolute win! We also split a Caesar salad (because veggie balance is important) and ended on a high note with tiramisu. It was airy, creamy, and just espresso kissed enough to keep you going back for another spoonful. We lingered on the patio glass of wine in hand, soaking up the scenery and wondering how a food truck in the middle of tulip country had turned into one of our favorite dining experiences in ages. The Stella Sopra truck travels between Bellingham and Mount Vernon. If you see it parked anywhere don't overthink it. Order whatever catches your eye. You'll definitely leave happy.

Whatcom Humane Society
2172 Division St, BellinghamI came in a few months ago while going through some not-great stuff to search for an emotional support kitty, and I met my amazing best friend Erik (who used to be called Captain Whitebeard)! This guy sleeps in my arms every night, is obsessed with drinking his water, and seems to enjoy heavy metal music. Many thanks to Ben and everyone else who helped out in the adoption process, as a first-time adopter it was a bit intimidating to take in a cat with medical complications but y'all really helped make his medical needs less scary and I am happy to report that he is currently in perfect health. If anyone else is feeling like they want/need the companionship of a pet, I would HIGHLY recommend adopting from a shelter, I swear to god these guys are infinitely more affectionate and kind. They know you chose them.
