Today, I found a low priced cheddar parmesan blend hard cheese and the strawberries looked better than my regular grocery store's selection. They also had baby bella mushrooms at a good price.”

Tags made it easy to pick out exactly what I wanted on my sandwich, which allowed me to sit and sulk in my hangover while my meal was being prepared.     “I lived downtown for a short time while working near the Capitol, and Capitol Centre Market honestly became one of those places I ended up visiting almost every day without planning to. At first, I only stopped in because it was convenient and within walking distance of my apartment, but after a while it turned into my regular grocery spot for late-night snacks, quick dinners, and random essentials I forgot to buy elsewhere. What surprised me most was how much bigger the store feels once you walk inside. From the outside it looks like a small neighborhood market, but they somehow manage to pack in almost everything — groceries, deli food, frozen meals, fresh produce, drinks, even random household stuff like batteries and medicine. A lot of locals online mention the same thing about the store feeling larger and more stocked than expected. One night after getting home from a delayed flight around 11 PM, I stopped there just hoping to grab milk and something quick to eat. Not only were they still open, but the deli area actually had fresh prepared food left instead of empty shelves.”

    “Came here to try Middle Eastern food again after trying it a few years ago. Ever since I moved, I’ve been wanting to find a good spot, and I’ve got to say this is now my goto place. I ordered the spicy chicken shawarma, and damn, it was absolutely delicious. After seeing mixed reviews, I was only expecting an okay meal, but the food completely blew me away. The staff was super helpful, and I even had a nice chat with the butcher. This place is a real hidden gem. I’ll definitely be coming back for lunch often, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. I’m not exaggerating you need to try this! I am not kidding. I wish I had photos of the food but I ate it all before taking some pictures lol.”

    “Great Woodmans gas station The two employees working on weekdays are always friendly. Gas prices are the best on the west side and the most affordable almost always here. The only thing that is missing here is a automatic car wash,vacuums and oil change service. It would be a good idea to add these services if possible because at all other Woodmans gas stations the car wash service is always great at an affordable price and same goes for their oil change service.It would be a good idea to use some of the parking lot behind the gas station to make this possible and would most likely be a huge success especially with the west side of Madison growing at a high rate in population every year.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
