“I love this store! They had to move because of construction at their old location, but I think this new location on Winnebago is even better. They have the best fair trade items! I’ve purchased candy, soaps, cat toys, cards, coffee, tea, and snacks as gifts and for myself. I love their jewelry so much, I can barely leave the store without buying something. They also have beautiful clothing, purses, candles, dog toys, and more. I’ve bought so many Christmas gifts there! Seriously, check it out.”
“Sarina Brion is a master of her craft. I've worked with her at Tom James for a custom suit and tuxedo throughout the years, and the results were always flawless. Her ability to nail the fit and select the perfect fabrics made the entire process effortless everything. Even when I don't even know what I'm looking for at times 😅
The quality of the bespoke tailoring is top notch, but it is Sarina’s eye for detail and professional guidance that truly sets her apart. If you need a high-end suit or a standout tuxedo, she is the only person to see.”

“Kyle is the man! He has since moved to the West Side location. He helped us get my husband and sons fitted for suits for my oldest son's upcoming wedding. We made an appt many, many months before but unknowingly during prom season rush. Even though it was PACKED, he was calm and cool and walked us through the entire process flawlessly. He helped us get the most bang for our buck and we ended up ordering a custom suit for my husband, a suit for my son, and a got fitted for a rental for another son.
When the custom suit came in a month later it was *flawless* in fit. I have never seen a pair of suit pants fit my big and tall husband well before. Score! Kyle knew exactly which fit to order that would fit the best (and it wasn't what I would have guessed - slim fit pants for the win, y'all!).
In the following months, Sam was extremely helpful and detailed oriented, helping us with pick up of the tailored to fit pants & jacket we had purchased for my son and measuring the fit for the length on the custom pants when they came in (they arrive unhemmed). She personally saw to us getting exactly the shirt needed in 4XLT (not something carried in the store) shipped to our home well before our event.
The employees at this location know their shit, to be blunt.
Be aware, prom season and wedding season overlap. It is BUSY. If you show up on a Friday afternoon or any time on the weekend, it is going to be packed. One guy was there on a Friday trying to get situated for his wedding *the next day*. My dude. Plan better. 😅🫠 I also could not believe the amount of people.picking up rentals the day before a wedding. I asked for our rental on the W before our event, and booked that in April for a mid-july wedding. Yikes on bikes, people. So yes, some very cranky wedding goers were seen but I think with proper planning so you are not scraping by at the last minute, you will have a very good experience not feeling rushed.”

“Google asked me how my visit was...and I really had to think about it. When I walked into the East Town Mall Hot Topic....it felt more like a Lukewarm Conversation. Gone were the mall goth employees and black spiderweb windows that would drive fear into Suburban soccer mom's hearts. No longer were there aisles of CDs, records, or headphones to listen to HIM's newest music. Instead, racks of Spongebob and Naruto merchandise lined the middle tables, toys from all kinds of nostalgic 90's movies, and novelty t-shirts that seem more like "tepid topics" than anything current. I walked in very specifically because I had a gift exchange where the person wanted Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise...which is at the store in droves. Did I buy something? Sure did. Would I do it again? Tough to say... I can't think with the 13-year-old inside of me screaming that Hot Topic has become what it most feared -a poser.”
“The worker that helped me today was SO wonderful, and helped me find sales when he noticed I was staring at certain items. He unpromptedly checked the back for something he thought I’d want (and was right! It was my favorite purchase that day!) and was very sweet and attentive. He even greeted us on the way in and checked in to make sure we were finding what we wanted. Also pulled some graphic novels from the back that had just been stocked but not put out yet for my sister. Absolutely wonderful service and I would and will come again!”

“I had an excellent experience at DXL Big + Tall. It was my first time visiting the store, and Dean made the experience outstanding. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to help me find the right sizes. He explained everything clearly and made the shopping process easy and enjoyable.
What stood out the most was how accommodating he was to my family while I was shopping. His professionalism and genuine care for customers were greatly appreciated.

“Lovely items! I am not sure it is a typical thrift store most of the items were boutique stuff, so there were a lot of supplies of similar items. Reminds me more of Charlotte Russe in the clothing options. Great location and price for items were reasonable. “Today my girlfriend got a bad headache at the mall and we sat on the bench in front of the Vans store. I decided to ask them if they had any aspirin for her head. They have me a bottle of cold water and some aspirin. We couldn’t have been more great-full. They helped us and we didn’t even go in the store. Great people there. Highly recommend.”

“I wish I would’ve gotten his name, but, about one month ago there was a nice gentleman with blonde hair who was so incredibly helpful. I am never one to ask for help or accept help in stores, but as I was walking around wondering where to start, he jumped right in and offered to get me a fitting room started with different sizes to try on. I accepted the help and the first round we found my size. He had such a professional, calm demeanor that you don’t find nearly as much. “Took the grands back to school shopping. Kohls was my main destination. I think they have good quality clothing & offer a variety of styles. 1 grand found a dress she liked but was not in her size. We took it with us to checkout & the associate was kind enough to search online & inform us which nearby store should have the correct size. With her assistance we were able to go to the suggested store & purchase the desired dress in the correct size.”
“I had cut back on shopping at H&M because of their descent to fast fashion. But there were no other contemporary stores in this mall so I checked it out and glad I did! Qualities of the items I saw were great. They also provide discounts for bring items to recycle which I did. There is also a student discount which if I am not forgetting to as 15% off. Staff were great and the store is well organized.”
“I needed to return an item I had ordered online in the wrong size. At the return desk the associate was very helpful, checked to see if there were any of the same in stock in a larger size. There were, and she directed me exactly where to fine them.
Once in the Women's department, I got a little turned around, so asked for help at the check out desk. A lovely associate named Nadja walked with me and located exactly what I wanted. She was so lovely and gracious and helpful.
My whole time in the store was pleasant, easy transactions. What a nice experience. I might start shopping more in the store and less online.”

What stood out to me even more was seeing the way she supported her team.
