“They sold me a pair of shoes that fit me better than any pair I’d ever worn.
3 days later I showed back up, with my feet in a shape they’d never been allowed to be in before, no longer able to wear the shoes comfortably because my feet had changed so much. They let me return the shoes I’d worn 3 days even though I didn’t have my receipt and exchange them for a pair that was $20 cheaper.”

“I love this store so much! Each time I’ve gone in there, the workers are super nice and chill. If you want to go to a store where you don’t feel like you’re bothering the workers, Fontana is perfect. Last time I was there I had my eyes on an osprey backpack and Al showed me all the hidden gems and made sure it was the right fit for me. I didn’t get it that day but I loved it so much. I went back for it today and Al was there once again to help me get the osprey sportlite that I’ve been thinking about since the last time I went. I’m so excited to use the backpack! 10/10 store overall with super welcoming people always there to help.”

“We had never been here before though we had seen the ads everyday in the newspaper. We were running errands at Hilldale and stopped in since I was having a hard time finding a comfortable casual shoe. It was a weekday but there was a steady stream of customers. After browsing some of the displays and choking on some of the prices. $450 for some ugly casual German shoes!!! I was skeptical. I decided to dive in and get some help. It turns out it was one of the co-owners who helped us. It was if I was being consulted by a podiatrist. I later learned that a few of the employees are certified pedorthists. I have never encountered such a process at a shoe store. I learned a lot about my feet. I did find a pair of shoes that fit my feet and my needs and my price point. I am not sure every employee would give this level of service or have this expertise but I will return. Oh yeah - the prices keep this from being a 5 star review.”

“Today my girlfriend got a bad headache at the mall and we sat on the bench in front of the Vans store. I decided to ask them if they had any aspirin for her head. They have me a bottle of cold water and some aspirin. We couldn’t have been more great-full. They helped us and we didn’t even go in the store. Great people there. Highly recommend.”

“Hands down my favorite clothing store in Madison. Not only are they always stocked with a well curated selection of fashionable and unique pieces, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and really cool people. Always a superb in-store music selection and a great vibe. Been coming to the store for years and I always stop by when I’m in town. Since I come every few months, they always have a new selection of clothes and they never miss ??”

“I wish I would’ve gotten his name, but, about one month ago there was a nice gentleman with blonde hair who was so incredibly helpful. I am never one to ask for help or accept help in stores, but as I was walking around wondering where to start, he jumped right in and offered to get me a fitting room started with different sizes to try on. I accepted the help and the first round we found my size. He had such a professional, calm demeanor that you don’t find nearly as much. I will absolutely be coming back to this location to buy my future jeans.”

“A friend and I went to Rogans Shoes on Madison’s east side and were helped by a young man named Tegan. We haven’t had excellent customer service like that in a very long time! He measured our feet; he helped us with looking for styles in our tastes, and helped us try on the shoes. He gave honest critiques when asked, and wasn’t pushy.
We bought three pairs of shoes and a couple of weeks later, when I needed to return pair of mine I was really surprised! I hadn’t stepped one foot inside the store, and I heard Tegan’s voice call me by name! I truly felt like a valued customer.
If reviews help in a promotion, I truly suggest Tegan be considered; and if reviews influence another customer, go to Rogan’s Shoes at 1740 Eagan Road in Madison, and look for Teagan. He will do you well!”

“I'm a longtime happy Rogan's customer, but had an experience with Kate and Scott at Odana Rd. yesterday that was really over the top.
Last week, another salesperson spent a ton of time with me, offering suggestions for more heavily cushioned sneakers. After trying a bunch on, and testing in the store, I found a pair I was really happy with. Of course I picked up a 2nd pair at 50% off, too.
After 3-4 days, I realized I should have purchased a size up. I didn't realize this at all prior to my purchase; it's subtle. After wearing the shoes all day, though, I definitely wished I had a little more room. I knew I'd have to figure something out with the pair I'd been wearing, but decided to exchange the 2nd pair purchased.
I stopped back yesterday, and explained my visit. After trying on a couple variations of a size up and width up, I made my choice. Both Kate and Scott were very helpful during this process, and assisted with getting my size dialed in.
During my exchange, Kate asked about the pair I was wearing, explaining I was eligible to return the first pair, too. I was shocked, and re-explained I'd been wearing the shoes for the last week. She understood, and assured me I was eligible to exchange both pair. I was pretty blown away by this level of service.
Thank you to Kate and Scott for reminding me why Rogan's is the best shoe store in Madison!”

“The clothes are super cute! I could not stress enough about trying on your items before buying. Some of their clothes are phenomenal quality, while other items seem to be cheaply made.
I had bought a shirt and some pants from here not long ago, but didn't try on my clothes until I got home. The shirt I bought had a hole on the side the was hard to catch until on. Same with my pants! I was extremely disappointed but eventually was able to return my items. I was returned my shirt for store credit, but not my pants. I instead was able to keep the pants and get a 15% discount for my next bought item. The costumer service I received was great and throughly explained. Kayla is a great manager!
Other than that, the girls working here are super sweet and very willing to help. I would definitely go here when you have time to genuinely shop or need a quick cute outfit. Super cute store!”
