745 Higuera St #3512, San Luis ObispoBubba and I had so much fun checking out this store. He loved the variety of smells, treats and toys and was wagging his tail more than usual! The employees are so kind and gave my dog space to sniff around and also gave him some treats that he loved very much! I appreciate all of the alternative treats here to the normal toxic treats we usually have to watch out for. I like that I can trust that whatever I pick up in the store will be good for my dog. We will be visiting every time we drive by. Thank you for creating a wonderful place for both my dog and me to shop!

960 Main St, Morro BayWe take our dog here and have been doing so for years, staff is very hospitable and nice. The services offered for the notedly reasonable price are very extensive in my opinion. The grooming we get for our (admittedly low maintenance) medium-sized short haired mix-breed dog includes EVERYTHING: ears, teeth, nails, coat, a doggie facial, a festive bandana, and they even do anal glands included in the price(!). They are booked up many months in advance and I recommend you enquire early and see if they are excepting new clients currently and make sure to schedule an appointment but they've been accommodating to us in the past about an quick appointment or an unscheduled visit. Different dogs with different needs cost more or less depending, so as they say ymmv (your mileage may vary) but we've been to multiple groomers on the central coast and All Paws is without question the best priced and easiest we've dealt with.

PuppyCuts Too
175 Tank Farm Rd, San Luis ObispoI will not bring my dog, or cat, anywhere else! Their pricing is reasonable, every dog is different and some need special attention. This is exactly the place to get that. Places like petsmart are not 1on1 like Puppy Cuts Too is. Big corporation salons are stressful on the dog, and the groomer too. Especially if you come in late, they have to rush in order not to back up their whole day. I’ve had it happen before with my dog having to stay longer because they couldn’t say no to the previous dog who came in late. I learned the hard way. Plus they’re one of the only places that take cats A++++

She not only is a wonderful communicator regarding appointments and pickup, but also with LISTENING to what cut/style we want as well as giving advice to what might look or be better for the season. I have tried nearly every groomer in a 40 mile radius and All About Dogs is the only one who gets it right every single time.

1696 7th St, San Luis ObispoLove this groomer. My dog is an anxious pup so she works with him fast but gives him a proper grooming every time. She chooses to not groom doodles which is totally understandable cause their coats are a bit more complicated. My pup is spaniel mix and he is happy enough with it. Keeps the foxtails and everything at bay.

Lexi takes her time and makes sure little Appa feels comfortable and as a result she comes out looking so clean and adorable every time! Appa usually struggles a lot at home when we try to trim her, she has long hair so she gets tangles around her leg joints and tail, but when she goes to Lexi she comes back clean and fresh with no more tangles. I’m so grateful they can get her to cooperate, it’s so refreshing for the summer weather for Appa to have a short haircut and have her legs short so she doesn’t pick up as many stickers and twigs on our walks.

Their customer service via text is the best with a fast response and easy while I am busy with other life things. Baths are great on pick up day too with an extra fee. Do make sure you are up to date on vaccines and handle your stuff before boarding. They hold me accountable and I respect their policy. The animals are familiar and noticeably more relaxed here. They listen to any special needs I have and greet our animals. They get time to play and be out of their nighttime areas with clean and friendly environments that feel home like. I have tried other places and drive farther for this kind of support.

Dogtastic Training
893 Marsh St Box 1192, San Luis ObispoMy Whippet/Pit mix is a sweet and responsive girl. With her desire to please me, we did great together with positive reinforcement training, however everything literally went out the door as soon as she knew she was going outside. Her prey drive is off the charts and was unmanageable on walks - to the point of being dangerous for both her and me. I contacted Mark to work with us to manage her prey drive, even with my initial reluctance to use an e-collar. We discussed his methods at length and he let me experience the e-collar for myself. After a week of working with Mark, I now have new capabilities to walk and go on adventures with my dog safety - and we can enjoy ourselves. Now that Mark has worked with her, the rest is up to me to maintain what she has learned. This ended up being a successful way to go, given her challenges. And I'm grateful. One thing that impressed me right away about Mark is that he took the first day with my dog to orient her to her new environment and spent time bonding with her. Each day of her training, he sent videos of where he took her, what training he was engaged in with her and how she was doing - multiple times a day, keeping me informed. Any questions I had, he responded to immediately. Finally, I was given training on the techniques and tools so I am able to maintain and continue her training. She has responded very well to Mark and his training process! In fact, I think she fell in love with him :-) I have no hesitations to continue working with Mark if any further support is needed.

Sequel Cold Brew Tea
3845 S Higuera St Ste 100, San Luis ObispoMy wife and I each got a earl grey milk tea (hers with boba) on a quiet Saturday morning. The woman running the place was friendly and prompt, even with no one in line. The drinks where delicious and not too sweet with a clear, rich tea flavor. The boba had the right texture and each drink came in at about 6 bucks, lower than their menu here on maps.
Their cups are also very high quality and could even be reused for quite some time. I'm looking forward to trying some of their matcha drinks on return visits.

Food was also a great. Unashamed meat eater here and I wanted to try something new. Fresh ingredients and almost everything was done in house. Onion rings were great.
