I did nothing but sing my praises to her regarding the professional, kind and supportive staff, the intelligent caring Dr Alex Gomes, the brilliant facility, and immediate care as out of town clients that we were. Our puppy had a severe skin infection while on vacation at Templeton and we were so fortunate to be able to get him seen here at Main St Animal Hospital! We now have a favorite vacation spot and safe place to take our puppy to if ever needed again for care. Forever grateful!

Loved it so much we joined the club again after a ten year absence. Highly recommend stopping on your way north in the beautiful little town of Templeton.

Turley Wine Cellars
2900 Vineyard Dr, TempletonWe had a Five Star tasting (for our Anniversary) recently. Ive been to Turley before, love their wines but fell out of contact, because there are soooo many wineries closer to home. Malani, the tasting room manager took care of us, Exceptionally. She poured an older wine to start , getting off the standard progression. We tasted the current vintage of that wine to compare. There are 5-6 zins on the tasting menu, but there were several extra pours offered. I was interested in two of the less expensive wines and that was no problem. The zinfandel's here are just next level. Extremely aromatic, boldly flavored and full bodied. They used to be pricier, always around $60 but they haven't gone up in our 15-20 year absence so now looking undervalued at that price. A walk and talk and picture near the vineyard. A stop by the prehistoric whale fossil somewhat recently discovered on the vineyard. The tasting room is stunning, all exposed wood and beams. The outside patio, where we took advantage of beautiful October weather is also very nice We signed up to be members which yielded a couple glasses, but Malani also offered a complimentary (gift) of proprietary olive oil. I mean can you say .... Hospitality We got so caught up in the leisurely experience, we had to order and run. Our purchase of what I thought was 12 bottles only had ten. An email and follow up produced a speedy refund. So happy to be back on the list at Turley and look forward to future visits.

We stayed at the hotel which was also really great, very clean and it was all wonderful. We will be back!

Peachy Canyon Winery Tasting Room
1480 North Bethel Road, TempletonWhat a wonderful surprise! We stopped at Peachy Canyon unexpectedly after another winery experience didn’t work out. The beautiful old schoolhouse and welcoming porch immediately lifted our spirits.
We explained that we had limited time before our next reservation, and the staff graciously offered us a shortened shared tasting—and didn’t even charge us. There was no pressure, just genuine warmth and hospitality. The setting was charming, the wines were delicious, and everyone made us feel welcome. Peachy Canyon turned our afternoon around completely. We would happily return!

508 South Main Street, TempletonWe finished a grueling hike about 50 minutes before arriving. We wanted a local non chain burger, fries and a shake. We drove here from Morro Bay heading to the Fresno area. The place has a great charm to it. Old wood floor, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. While looking at the walls I saw they had lots of local artists come through as well as karaoke. We were beet or would have stayed a bit longer. The food was great but the sweet potato fries were out of this world. I would come back just for the fries. The outdoor seating made me feel very comfortable, a local place in a small town where everyone knows each other but is welcoming to travelers. Come for the food, stay for the entertainment and make it a regular stop for the friendly staff and patrons.

The Marmalade Beyond Burger was a creative take on a burger. The Beyond patty was topped with sweet orange marmalade, tangy pickled onions, fresh tomato, and crisp green leaf lettuce, then finished with a smoky vegan chipotle aioli on a vegan bun. The sweet, tangy, and smoky flavors worked really well together, and it was juicy and filling.
The Chipotle Mushroom Tacos had great smoky, savory flavor, and the mushrooms were hearty enough to be satisfying.
It's rare to find a bar and grill that puts this much thought into its plant-based dishes, and I really appreciated that the burger is fully vegan, bun and sauce included. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. I'll definitely be back!

Charlotte was so wonderful to work with from beginning to end. We really wanted a well trained Pup and that is exactly what we got! Our Pup went through both trainings and graduated with honors!! He loves his crate, Instantly took to a doggie door, and is a dream to take walking. We absolutely love using the pellets inside of a kiddie pool for potty time. So clean & easy! Sweet, loving, smart, healthy and well trained... who could ask for more! Charlotte was so helpful in so many ways. She goes above and beyond for her pups! We are so grateful!
