2245 Cimarron Way, Los OsosJust had my first appointment with this practice. The Vet, Dr Adam, was great. I got my pigs nails trimmed and all went well. He was kind, communicative, and their prices are very reasonable. I look forward to working with them again in the future and would recommend their services to anyone who asked. Thank you! 2245 Cimarron Way, Los OsosMy Favorite Vet of Choice for my horses.. Dr. Don is an excellent Vet, he has such a calm demeanor and so gentle with our horses. Both Big and our Mini's.. He is great with knowing just what to do and how to fix what is wrong.. He is a very caring man, always returns calls, and responds very quickly. He helps with all of our Vet needs, patient with our questions, doesn't over medicate or push unneeded medications, and has a great sense of humor to boot. When Dr. Don arrives at Griffin's Mountain Miniatures, the horses and the humans feels like a good friend has arrived, and all will be well again... We Love our Veterinarian....

Los Osos Pet Hospital
2239 Bayview Heights Dr A, Los OsosToday I finally felt like I left the office of a Veterinarian who actually cared about animals. I’ve gone to one clinic, where my rescue pup was just another number and they had zero communication skills. And a local Morro Bay Vet who just seemed to lack knowledge and the office staff couldn’t get their act together.
I took my pup with the same needs (vaccines), concerns and questions to LOPH and had a very thorough puppy visit. He looked at her teeth, ears and addressed what I asked, as he checked her over.
The other vet in MB either lacked experience or she didn’t understand what my needs were with a first time puppy check. She didn’t explain anything about bone growth and had the other vet in the office look at my dog, who promptly said “we can do X-rays”.
The puppy did not need X-rays. So, I threw almost $300 out the door for the first vet to do nothing. I feel I got the attention and advice I needed for the puppy and monies worth with Los Osos Vet.
Staff was friendly, knowledgable and timely also.

My salad was somewhat heavy on bell pepper, which I would have preferred otherwise, but it remained good. My sole concern involved the cost relative to the portion size. One could visit High Street Deli for a tastier, larger sandwich or salad at a more favorable price.
Upon arrival, we approached the register to order, and the employee was speaking with a friend for over five minutes, barely acknowledging us until the situation grew uncomfortable and we considered leaving. Because we are longtime friends with the owner Alex and recently moved back to Los Osos, we waited, though the behavior was rude at the least. Otherwise, the food was fresh and good, and the atmosphere felt pleasant and comfortable.

They only had one server and a host, so it took a long time for him to take our order for drinks and food, and it took a while for the drinks to come out to us. I felt like our waiter could’ve done a better job saying hello to us and getting drinks or appetizers started for us. Otherwise, the experience was nice.

2011 10th Street, Los OsosBest sushi I’ve had in probably 3 years. I can’t remember where it was better so it might have been further in the past. Well, you know you’re in California when you ask Julia at the ace hardware where the best restaurant is, and she recommends a sushi spot on a side street. I had the special, roll and a bowl. The crunchy eel and the beef ramen more than filled my tank. If you get the chance, this place is a bright spot to experience. The waitress and chef were super friendly and the outdoor patio was decorated artistically. It had enough quirkiness to be considered modern art. Los Osos is a great little town meaning the bears and Kuma is Japanese for bear. Very Californian indeed. Enjoy!...
So I went a second time last year and it was just okay... I gave it a third attempt today and it was just splendid. The only reason I downgraded the service was because I had to approach the counter for a refill of my beverage. One of these days I'm going to learn to tip after the experience and with cash going to the folks that hustled. When one tips in advance then I always feel ignored after the dish leaves the kitchen in most establishments
... This is still a favorite spot of mine....
