1258 Imperial Beach Blvd, Imperial BeachI have been to quite a few dog grooming places in the recent years due to pregnancies and it being near impossible to bath my dogs the bigger I got.
I stumbled upon Urban Pet roughly a year ago and every time I pick up both of my dogs they are always clean and dry. Absolutely love their service and although I have seen reviews stating they are expensive I would have to disagree.
My dogs aren't over 45lbs and I've had groomers charge me as if their 65lb dogs and it was well over $180.
Never once has that happened here.

We came back to visit and didn’t disappoint , same 10star service and same taste and quality of food its the best. Their home made bread its amazing and the quality of ingredients and syrups for coffee are the best. Do not hesitate to try everything on their menu . Owners are lovely and always helping the community. Loved to be back thank you.

The sourdough crust is absolutely incredible, and gluten-free makes it even better. Every pizza we’ve tried has been outstanding, with creative combinations and high-quality ingredients that keep us coming back.
And don’t skip the salads—they’re just as amazing as the pizza! Everything we’ve ordered has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The quality, variety, and consistency are second to none. If you’re looking for phenomenal pizza and delicious salads, this is the place. I can’t recommend Mangini’s Pizza highly enough. It’s an absolute gem!

600 Palm Ave, Imperial BeachI finally tried Big Kahuna’s in Imperial Beach and wow… THIS is a real burger. ? The burger was insanely juicy, flavorful, and perfectly made from top to bottom. Honestly, it beats any fast food burger by a mile. My mouth is watering again just thinking about it — I already want to go back right now!
The fries were super crunchy and delicious too, the perfect combo with the burger. And on top of that, the staff were so warm, welcoming, and friendly. You can tell they actually care about the food and the experience.
If you want a real burger that actually satisfies, Big Kahuna’s is the spot.?

10 Evergreen Ave Ste E, Imperial BeachAs the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and SERA Archives Thriller Series, I’ve spent a lot of time around Cow-A-Bunga Ice Cream & Coffee, and it’s one of those classic local spots that’s hard to miss.
This is a simple walk-in ice cream shop, but that’s part of the appeal. It’s right near the IB Pier Plaza with plenty of seating around, so you can grab a scoop and head outside to enjoy it by the beach.
I’ve had more scoops here over the years than I can count. The flavor selection is excellent, with plenty of fun options, and it’s the kind of place you keep coming back to without thinking twice.
The staff is always super friendly, which adds a lot to the experience. It’s quick, easy, and welcoming every time.
Inside, the artwork on the walls gives the place a fun, laid-back personality that fits perfectly with the beach vibe. It’s also the kind of relaxed setting I’ve thought about while writing The Maui Desire Romance Series, where simple moments like this can carry a scene.
Overall, it’s a great local stop. Simple, reliable, and exactly what you want after spending time near the pier.

Meijo Sushi
600 Palm Ave #108-9, Imperial BeachDecided to stop in for some sushi on my last night here in San Diego. The place was small, but flavors were huge! I ordered two appetizers and two rolls, and all of it was fantastic quality. I definitely left full. I will be back several times over the next 6 months, and I will absolutely come back here. Highly recommended!
