Pet Me Please Pet Food & Supplies
3537 Adams Ave, San DiegoThe hospitality, care, and attention to detail was amazing at Mimo pets. I had requested for Cindy as the groomer, and the receptionist, Nicky, was so kind to coordinate our appointment over the phone the next day. The minute we took our little shih tzu Momo inside, Nicky immediately recognized us and was very thoroughly with understanding our request for keeping Momo’s hair long while giving her a peekaboo shave. :)
Momo was really nervous at first but the team really took care of her during her stay. Cindy did an amazing job with Momo’s haircut, and as pet parents— we loved Nicky’s positivity and attentiveness. We definitely will be coming back. Thank you so much!

The jams were awesome they were listening to the now that's what I call music CDs and I knew every lyric so I was singing to my dog while I was washing him hands down best experience I could have ever had!! Our Feathered Friends
4420 Rainier Ave STE 100, San DiegoI've been going to this store since 2012 for my lovebirds. The store has an excellent toy/shredder section. The food/treat selection is excellent. Cages are a decent price. The prices overall are good and comparable to online sites for the most part. I've boarded my birds only a couple of times, but it was a good experience, and my birds didn't seem to disturbed. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have not purchased a bird here. My only gripe is the heavy metal sometimes played.

Mimo Grooming Studio - University Heights | Gabriel Feitosa
4219 Park Blvd, San DiegoI have been trusting Gabriel and his team with Gia for over 4 years and they never disappoint. She always looks amazing when I pick her up and I know they take great care of my fur baby while she is in their care. I highly recommend Gabriel’s Salons to anyone looking for a great experience for your precious fur babies. I was drawn to Mimo because other salons were wanting to shave my baby’s hair rather than demat her; however, Natache assured me they had the experience and desire to keep Gia’s beautiful hair intact. She won me over on our first telephone conversation and I have never taken Gia anywhere since. Natache doesn’t just talk the talk, she walks the walk! Love her and the Mimo family!

The check in process was one simple sheet and took LESS THAN 5 minutes. My cat (Maui) was checked by the nurse at 3:05 and the doctor was in the exam room by 3:10. The exam was thorough and complete. Maui was taken back for a full panel blood work and was prescribed antibiotics for a mouth infection in 15 minutes. Maui and I were out the door with his prescriptions IN HAND at 3:40. The exam rooms are very clean, the treats are plentiful, and most importantly the staff is caring, thorough and time efficient. Save yourself the frustration and long waits many other vets make you deal with and just come here.

Dr Diamond cracked a case on my dog 6 other big vets in San diego couldn't (almost 8k wasted), and after that I knew these folks were the one. From there on its been nothing but amazing, they have a very special staff team. Like, everyone remembers the pets, know how to work with each and every one differently, like my aggressive and very protective 120lb GSD. AND YET THEY LOVE TO SEE HIM!!! But yeah, if youre looking for a vet, one time visit or long term these are the folks you want. Military friendly and can work around multiple types of difficult situations too.

Precious Pet Care San Diego
5361 Roswell St, San DiegoI cannot thank Precious Petcare and my Wedding Pet Attendants (Hilary & Tory) enough!!!
First of all, Leila and her staff were very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, and they ensured that my 2 fur kids would get the best care possible for my big day.
When the big day came, I felt SO comfortable with Hilary & Tory’s capabilities as ‘temporary’ dog mommas for my special day. It took such a HUGE burden and relief off of my shoulders, knowing that they were in such good hands.
They were both able to keep my pups calm and happy, even with Scooter’s terrible separation anxiety! They also followed my detailed instructions to a TEE, and walked our ‘Ring Bearer’ and ‘Flower Pup’ down the aisle with no issues!
They did an amazing job getting their energy out by constantly walking them around, letting them enjoy nature (they even saw a deer), playing with them, and keeping them well treated and extra cozy (Scooter was warm and wrapped in a blankie when he got chilly!).
They truly watched them like hawks, snuggled them, and treated them like their own. When I saw them both with the pups (and heard nothing but amazing comments from my guests!), I knew that they were in amazing hands and I could be calm, relax, and really enjoy myself.
They were also a great influence on my young pup, Millie, and her shyness around other people! We noticed such a huge improvement in Millie the day after the wedding! She was like a whole new dog. She’s so much less skittish after having the opportunity to meet with so many guests. I thank Hilary & Tory for giving her that opportunity, as it was much needed for a young rescue dog!
They were stellar at their jobs —- they were punctual, kind, calm, professional, organized and dedicated.
I also can’t thank them enough for the amazing photos that they sent. They are my absolute favorite photos for sure, and I’m so glad that they captured those moments for me (as the bride misses all the fun! Lol).
I highly recommend Precious Petcare!!! 5 stars

Sit Means Sit Dog Training San Diego
10035 Carroll Canyon Rd Ste E, San DiegoI cannot express my gratitude enough for Tim at Sit Means Sit and what he has done to help my family. Our German Shepherd, Daisy, came to Tim facing several significant challenges that affected both her quality of life and our ability to confidently take her out in public. Thanks to Tim’s knowledge, patience, and dedication, Daisy has undergone an incredible transformation, and we are beyond grateful for everything he has done for her.
Before working with Tim, Daisy struggled with severe social anxiety after being attacked by a group of dogs. The incident left a lasting impact on her confidence and behavior. She became extremely nervous around unfamiliar dogs, reactive during walks, and barked excessively whenever she saw them. Walks became stressful experiences for both Daisy and our family. In addition, she constantly pulled on the leash, making outings physically challenging and mentally exhausting.
From our very first interaction, Tim took the time to understand Daisy’s history, behavioral challenges, and our goals as owners. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, he created a training plan tailored specifically to her needs. It was immediately clear that he genuinely cared about Daisy’s success and understood how to work with dogs that had experienced trauma.
Throughout the training process, Tim demonstrated exceptional professionalism, patience, and expertise. He not only taught Daisy new skills but also taught us how to communicate with her and reinforce those skills at home. That guidance gave us the confidence to continue her progress outside of training sessions.
One of the most remarkable changes was Daisy’s improvement around other dogs. Before training, simply seeing another dog could trigger barking, anxiety, and reactive behavior. Tim worked carefully to rebuild her confidence and teach her to remain calm and focused. Today, she is significantly more relaxed, composed, and confident around other dogs. The difference is truly night and day.
Her leash manners have improved dramatically as well. Walks that once felt like a battle are now enjoyable. Daisy walks politely, pays attention to us, and responds reliably to commands. Being able to take her out without constant pulling or stress has made a tremendous difference in our daily lives.
Beyond the behavioral improvements, Tim helped restore something even more important—Daisy’s confidence. After the attack, she seemed anxious and uncertain in many situations. Through consistent training and positive guidance, Tim helped her become more secure and comfortable in her environment.
What impressed us most was Tim’s commitment to both the dog and the owners. He was always willing to answer questions, provide encouragement, and ensure we understood how to continue reinforcing Daisy’s training. His passion for helping dogs succeed was evident in every interaction.
Today, Daisy is happier, calmer, more obedient, and far more comfortable around distractions than we ever thought possible. The improvements have positively impacted our entire family.
One final point: success requires commitment from the owner. Tim provides the tools, knowledge, and support, but you must do the daily training and follow through at home. If you put in the work, the results can be truly life-changing.
Thank you, Tim, for helping Daisy overcome her fears, rebuild her confidence, and become the amazing dog we always knew she could be.

The Human Dog Team
4414 33rd St, San DiegoMy dog Daisy is a 2 year old German Shepherd and—until now—was very reactive in cars and on leash. Enough so that, at times, I thought she was too much dog for me.
Gonzalo changed all that. He did an amazing job educating me and giving me the tools to help Daisy get past that behavior.
He breaks things down for you and your dog so that each lesson can be practiced at home. He takes his time—not ever rushing; answering all your questions and giving great training advice. He is funny and deeply cares.
Daisy does not bark in the car anymore and she is not reactive on the leash any longer.
I will always be grateful to Gonzalo. I can enjoy my dog and take my little grandson on a drive with the Big Girl (Daisy). 12 + wonderful years to come.

As I was waiting for my food, well worth it, the smell and seeing the different orders coming up made me truly excited for my food. Everything looked and smelled amazing. The food was cooked right in front of everyone and the portion size was more than enough. Prices were more than reasonable. I asked for less fries as I knew I couldn't eat them all, they gave a 1/2 order for less than the full price. I took my order to go, a philly cheese steak and fries, well worth the walk from my hotel. I absolutely recommend this place if you get the opportunity. And one last thing that really stick out to me, all of the customers were happy, laughing and actually interacting with each other. Pacific Beach Ice Cream Co.
1010 Grand Ave, San DiegoAfter a long day at Sea World, we decided ice cream would make a good dinner. We were wrong, this was GREAT!
The flavors were amazing, and creamy, and vibrant without being overbearing. The waffle cone was delicate and delicious! And if that wasn't enough, the two young men behind the counter were absolutely delightful!
We're only in town for the weekend, but may be back again to try more of their flavors!

Coronado Dog Beach
Ocean Blvd, San DiegoIt’s an excellent beach with clean, snow-white sand. There weren't many people there when I visited, and the promenade and surrounding buildings are beautiful. I definitely recommend going there to see it for yourself and confirm just how beautiful the beach really is.

San Diego Humane Society
5500 Gaines St, San DiegoThis organization is beyond amazing. My partner and I went to adopt a dog unfortunately, the volunteers would not allow the dog off the leash in a safe space, and they kept feeding the dog, which did not allow us an opportunity for the dog to come to us so we could bond with it for a few minutes that experience destroyed the opportunity for us to get the dog. I hope they change their policies and allow potential foster and adopted pet parents to literally spend just a few minutes bonding with the animal. They’re trying to adopt it destroyed our motivation, but the organization is incredible.

Project Wildlife
5433 Gaines St, San DiegoStmbled upon what appeared to be an injured/weak hawk in our parking lot. This was just prior to dusk. We made it to the San Diego Project Wildlife office before they closed. Very thankful that there is a place where they can evaluate and treat these precious animals.

GOTCATS? SAN DIEGO
4640 Cass St #9965, San DiegoFantastic cat rescue staffed by the most lovely, dedicated volunteers. The volunteers work hard to place the rescued kittens with the best families. They don’t have a physical location, all the rescues are being fostered at various homes of the volunteers. I highly recommend Got Cats and kudos to all of the volunteers who are doing their best to place rescues in loving homes in San Diego.
