Stacey is incredibly skilled and truly cares about the dogs she grooms. She took the time to make Dakota feel comfortable and did an amazing job!! (I’m definitely biased but I think she looked fabulous afterward ?) The salon is clean, welcoming, and conveniently located. If you’re looking for a top-notch groomer who genuinely loves what she does, I highly recommend going here!

My family and I happily drive 85 miles one way about once a month to see her. We have a 13 year old pitbull mix who at the start of this year completely changed. She stopped playing, stopped greeting us at the door, stopped play talking, definitely no zoomies. She couldn’t sleep and would groan in discomfort all night long. Her spirit just completely gone. We tried any and everything without much change. I thought she was ready to leave us UNTIL she had her first treatment with Dr. Mindy. She slept ALL NIGHT (and still does), no groaning at all, the next day she was happily trotting around the house, wanted to go for a walk, and had so much more energy and her spirit was coming alive again! Every day she’s improved and definitely has so much life to live.

826 Orange Avenue, CoronadoPosh Paws is truly amazing! Finding someone we trust to care for our senior dog, Chica, while we’re out of town has always been difficult (because we are so very picky) — but Laura gives us complete peace of mind.
The dogs are free to roam in her home with constant access to both the indoors and outdoors. They get to sleep on the couches, play, and enjoy a true home-away-from-home experience. My husband and I call it “Disneyland for dogs” because Chica genuinely has the best time there.
One of our favorite parts is that Laura provides daily photos and videos with updates on how Chica is doing and who she is playing with. Chica is naturally quite shy, but she really comes out of her shell in Laura's care, and seeing those updates of her happy and socializing means the world to us.
We have a very hard time trusting anyone with our girl, but we feel 100% comfortable with Posh Paws. We are so grateful to have found her and cannot recommend her enough!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was vibrant. The restaurant is spacious, stylish, and chic. Additionally, the staff were caring, attentive, and friendly. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back for another wonderful dining experience!

UPDATE (9/2026) - Yup, everything remains just as tasty as the last times we have visited. Great food, large portions, pricey wine list, decent service. The pasta and sauces are excellent, and the pizza has a wonderful crust. It's not what I would call intimate, more family-and-friends sort of a place, but it does great at that.

It’s a cool, simple establishment no frills or thrills, just good food and straight to the point. Walk in, place your order, grab a spot inside or outside, and when your food is ready, they’ll bring it out to you. You can also order to go.
The lobster rolls are dangerously delicious! The lobster meat is fresh and tasty, and the bun is soft and just right. My only wish? I could’ve gone for some really good fries instead of chips with the sandwich. They do offer upgraded chip options, though, so you’re not stuck with your typical Lays-type chips.
Overall, it’s a good spot and definitely worth checking out. I’ll be back!
Pro tip: Go for The Boss. It has the perfect meat-to-bun ratio.

Amalo Brew Coffee
Outside Kiosk, 640 Orange Avenue, CoronadoI had such a great experience at Amalo Brew! It’s the cutest little outdoor kiosk right by the park outside the library in Coronado such a perfect spot to grab a drink and enjoy the view or grab a drink to walk around .
The atmosphere is so inviting, variety of snacks and a great selection of coffee options. But what really made the visit stand out was the barista. He was incredibly attentive and friendly, and I truly appreciated how much care he put into my drink you could actually see the effort and craftsmanship behind it.
He made us a couple of drinks from a vanilla latte to Chagaccino which was insanely good Wow .
Between the location, the vibe, and the outstanding service, I’ll definitely be coming back!

The staff was “top-notch”. Shawn brought great recommendation and got our food to us quickly. Don’t pass by this place next time you visit Coronado.

Waitress said Tartine was just named best restaurant in Coronado... confirmed on San Diego Explorer website.
Everything we got was amazing:
Quiche (both options), caprese panino, sea bass sandwich, frites, salads, mousse cake, double chocolate bread pudding... all 10's!! Service was very good... we sat outside and people watched, although the street traffic was very active.
We're going back for a 3rd time before our vacation ends.
Highly recommend...
