Wag'N Tails
945 Orange Ave, CoronadoWe took our dog to Wag N Tails after a beach day for the self service dog bath. For $25, they give you two towels, dog shampoo, leave in conditioner, tons of options for brushes, apron, blow dryer, and usually a little treat. We were the only one using the dog bath (2 baths total) so we got to take our time. Also got him the cutest nautical collar from here! Tons of options and all were cute!

Pet Grooming

Pollyanna's Grooming
1108 10th St, CoronadoI just moved to Coronado from Italy in January, and recently took my German Shepherd, Dakota, to Pollyanna’s Grooming, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience!! Stacey is incredibly skilled and truly cares about the dogs she grooms. She took the time to make Dakota feel comfortable and did an amazing job!! (I’m definitely biased but I think she looked fabulous afterward ?) The salon is clean, welcoming, and conveniently located. If you’re looking for a top-notch groomer who genuinely loves what she does, I highly recommend going here!

Pet Sitting & Training

PoshPaws
826 Orange Ave, CoronadoWe recently boarded our mini Australian Shepherd, Scout, with Posh Paws, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible experience! Laura watched Scout for four nights and treated her like one of her own. From the moment we dropped her off, we knew Scout was in the best hands.
Laura has a warm, calm energy that immediately puts both dogs and their humans at ease. She clearly loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. Scout can be a little shy at first, but she bonded with Laura quickly — which says everything. Laura sent daily updates and the sweetest photos, giving us total peace of mind while we were away. Scout looked relaxed, happy, and right at home in every picture.
It’s not easy leaving your pet, but knowing Scout was so well cared for made all the difference. Laura went above and beyond in every way, and we feel lucky to have found someone so trustworthy and kind.
Thank you, Laura — Scout can’t wait to come back!

Clayton's Bakery & Bistro
849 Orange Ave, CoronadoI went in to treat myself to their steak sandwich and saw some other items on the menu and I brought up the steak sandwich. The waitress lit up so I knew it was a favorite and I was not disappointed. The meat's extremely tender. The chimichurri is delicate but enhances the balance of the whole sandwich. The server was very pleasant, kind and attentive. I enjoyed the atmosphere sitting on the patio along Orange avenue.

Parfait Paris
1201 1st St #104, CoronadoMy wife and I split a crepe provencale for lunch and it was easily among the best crepes we've ever had: fresh, flavorful, and filling. We look forward to returning the next time we visit Coronado.

Coronado Coffee Company
1201 1st St, CoronadoI found the Golden Fleece! Haha, I went here last weekend while in San Diego. This place has one of, if not, the best coffee, the best service, and the best view in San Diego. The guy taking my order was super friendly and kind. After he asked my name (Jason), he responded with “like the argonauts?” I didn’t know what that meant. I looked it up, apparently the man is well read in the classics (it’s a Greek myth about finding the Golden Fleece). He proceeded to come up with a pop culture/cultural/literary reference for almost everyone’s name. The people making the were just as kind and friendly. My latte was amazing! If you’ve ever wondered what random pop cultural or literary references your name can be made into, stop by here hahaha. Or if you just want the best latte in San Diego

High Tide Bottle Shop & Kitchen
933 Orange Ave, CoronadoHigh Tide Bottle Shop & Kitchen is a chill spot that blends craft beer and casual eats really well. The beer selection stood out—lots of local options—and the food was better than I expected, especially for a bottle shop setup. It’s laid-back, a bit noisy, but great for hanging with friends. Service was easygoing, not super fast but friendly enough.

Garage Buona Forchetta
1000 C Ave, CoronadoI find their tables too small for pizza... like if you're a party of 2 and you order a pizza. It barely fits with your drinks and apps. But other than that, the place is fantastic, the crew is very nice and parking is tricky but doable

Miguel's Cocina
1351 Orange Ave, Coronado6/3/26 Wednesday @2 PM
We walked over from the beach and the main area is under construction, but the little Miguelito was open. Five of us sat outside, we had separate orders up front, and our server was helpful with water, lemons, straws, warm chips, cheese sauce, and salsa. It was better than the terrible chicken potato chip mess we had at the Sun Deck! We each tried different things. One friend requested melted cheese on her food and they were very nice and accomodated. I asked about a margarita with Mezcal and they made it for me. The margaritas were on the small side, but it was tasty. We had cloth napkins and silverware. They did a good job. Everything was hot and delicious. I got the pork and they offered to bring a couple of corn and flour tortillas. I would come here again. There appeared to be street parking, but it was full. There are souvineer shops nearby and a Chipotle across the street.

Tartine
1106 1st St, CoronadoI really enjoyed this spot.. went for breakfast. Note: European breakfast is nothing like American breakfast so don't expect pancakes eggs and bacon.. sandwiches, quiche and other savory items available. Oh and also oatmeal. You can get some coffee and a pastry though. Good service, nice atmosphere. Try it, it's a nice change to the norm.

Crown Bistro
520 Orange Ave, CoronadoCrown Bistro is one of those places you can tell really cares about what they’re doing.
The service is genuinely warm and attentive without feeling over the top, and the menu clearly has a lot of thought behind it, everything feels intentional and well put together.
The food and drinks were all great and Bella was extremely attentive.
Definitely a spot worth visiting.

Feast and Fareway
2000 Visalia Row, CoronadoRelaxing, great views, outdoor or indoor options. Service is outstanding, the staff is always engaged with customers. Great place to chat and have a cocktail.
Clean restaurant and restrooms
The steak for Steak-n-eggs on the breakfast menu is not a good cut of meat. Not the fault of the staff probably a new food distribution company that isn't supplying a better cut
