Pet Care

Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic
990 Price St, Pismo BeachMy wife and I were on vacation in the area and our dachshund puppy was having pain and discomfort in his ear but we weren’t sure if something was stuck in there or if he had an ear infection. We called around multiple places but since it was the weekend most places were closed or couldn’t see us. We called Pismo Beach Vet clinic and the staff was extremely nice and understanding and were able to get us in immediately. When I got there the check in was super easy and I was taken back immediately. The vet tech and Dr. Flores were also very nice and patient with Milo as they were checking in his ear. He was a little difficult letting them at first but they tried something else and were finally able to remove a fox tail that was stuck deep in his ear. The whole process was quick and we are so grateful for them and accommodating us would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a vet in the area!

The Green Olive Pismo Beach

The service was fast and we are outside on one of their picnic tables. Highly recommend for a delicious meal fun experience.

Burgers & More Co.
301 Cypress St, Pismo BeachThis is a small, family owned restaurant with indoor seating and an inviting outdoor seating area. The menu has a limited selection of food items which we prefer. Focus on a few things and make them great. We ordered Smash Burgers and onion rings. It was one of the best tasting burgers I have eaten. They make a special sauce that was excellent too. Enjoyed this small. family owned business with the owners caring for their customers!! We will eat here again when in the area.

House of the Rising Buns
950 Price St, Pismo BeachGET A LOAF OF SOUR DOUGH TO GO! The bread was so good don't miss any opportunity to try it.. Go early and get a loaf of fresh sourdough. The shop owner/operator, Bob made it fresh the day we were there. We ordered our sandwiches and were enjoying the patio in the back when the most amazing aroma tickled our noses. The smell reminded me of kettle corn, but not so sugary. I watched him pour out the flour so I knew he made it there, but I didn't expect the smell to be so amazing. We bought a loaf right then and it was so fresh it needed to finish resting. When we got the bread home we cut into it and ate three pieces. Just warm fresh bread with butter. The crust was firm but delicately crunchy and the center was so chewy and wonderful. We ended up finishing it by the next morning. Amazing stuff! I can't recommend it more. Also the lovely couple working there were so kind and wonderful to us. It was just an all together enjoyable experience.

Ada’s Fish House
558 Price St, Pismo BeachAda’s Fish House. Best Seafood Pasta & Lobster Roll in Pismo Beach with Sunset Views & Dog Friendly Patio
We had such a pleasant, relaxed dinner at Ada’s Fish House in Pismo Beach the kind of evening that reminds you why coastal dining hits differently.
We arrived just before 6 PM, which turned out to be perfect timing. Within 15 minutes the restaurant was completely full and a waiting line started forming outside. That alone says something.
We were seated at a high two-top near the bar, directly facing one of the large front windows overlooking the main street. In the evening light, it comes with a beautiful sunset view simple, warm and very California.
The space is well designed: tables for couples, larger sections for groups of four or more, and a spacious outdoor patio that’s dog-friendly (always a bonus in Pismo). Clean, inviting, and comfortable.
Service started immediately with warm rolls and butter, plus refreshing club sodas with lime.
We ordered the Seafood Pasta, and honestly it was outstanding. Fresh seafood, perfectly cooked pasta, wrapped in a creamy sauce that wasn’t too heavy and wasn’t too thin. Balanced, flavorful, and easily one of their signature dishes.
We also had the Lobster Roll sandwich with fries, which is a must. Generous lobster, soft toasted roll, and crispy fries on the side simple and satisfying.
To drink: a chilled skinny margarita, fresh and smooth.
The staff is attentive, professional and genuinely welcoming.
Restrooms are available for guests. Parking is easy either outside or along the street.
There are still several dishes on the menu we’re already planning to try next time we’re back in Pismo.
Highly recommended for seafood lovers looking for quality, atmosphere, and great service.

Zorro's Cafe & Cantina
927 Shell Beach Rd, Pismo BeachOur 1st time early this evening for an early dinner. The food was excellent..from the chips to the enchiladas with beans & rice.
As the place filled up we could see why that restaurant was referred to us.
We live in Lompoc but plan to drive up to enjoy their food again.

Beachin’ Biscuits
783 Price St, Pismo BeachThe breakfast scene in Pismo has shifted to self-service/cafeteria style, which is tough with toddlers. We ended up at this spot after finding our old favorites had changed their service models. While we had to 'fight' for a table, the food was solid and the staff was exceptionally kind. They mentioned the owners take great care of them, which really shows in their service. If you're looking for a hearty biscuit-based meal and don't mind the order-at-the-counter hustle, this is a good backup to the disappearing full-service spots. They have a nother location in Visalia, not the same name though. I'll post future review after we visit.

Papi's Grill
1090 Price St, Pismo BeachMy husband and I ordered from one of the owners. The other owner was on site as well. Noted because many small businesses do not have the owners greeting the customers. We ordered tacos and a bowl of beans. All were excellent! The ceviche was “in production”
so I will order that next time I am in the area. I have no doubt that will taste excellent as well. Love to support small, family owned businesses that take pride in their food and service.

Sans Liege Wines
870 Price St, Pismo BeachWe had a fantastic tasting with Alana this Saturday afternoon and she was the perfect host. Her knowledge of varietals and where grapes are sourced from is admirable. Picked up a bottle of The Adversary and the Late Harvest Grenache Blanc. We'll be recommending San Liege to friends.
