“Sandy Vans to the Rescue!
So... my original awning decided to pick a fight with the wind. The wind won.
Turns out my Exclusive Outfitters-built Sprinter van had a VERY heavy electric Dometic awning supported by only TWO mounting brackets. And just to make things more interesting, those brackets were attached with riv-nuts drilled into the corner of my roof--which also happens to be a pop-top. I'm no engineer, but a giant heavy awning + two brackets + a pop-top roof apparently wasn't the winning combination we all hoped for.
Enter Sandy Vans.
I live in San Diego and needed a replacement awning ASAP because we're leaving for Utah in a couple of days. I contacted Sandy Vans and had an awesome experience from the very beginning.
I spoke with Cindy two days in a row, and she was fantastic--super helpful, courteous, patient, and accommodating. When I came in to pick up the awning, if she didn't know the answer to one of my questions, she didn't just shrug and send me on my way. She immediately found someone who did. That kind of customer service goes a long way.
Then came Braden. Also extremely helpful and accommodating. He handled my purchase and even gave me his cell number so I could text him if I decided to install the awning myself and needed some technical support.
He did briefly mistake my Sprinter for a Ford Transit... I'll forgive him. My van has a pop-top, so it doesn't look like the 9-foot-tall Sprinter skyscrapers that make up about 90% of camper vans these days.
Then Brian came out from the shop and actually took the time to look over my van and roof rack to figure out how I could mount the new awning. He gave me several ideas, explained different options, and made the whole project seem doable.
Sandy Vans offered to install it, but apparently I enjoy making my life more difficult, so I decided to tackle the installation myself with a good friend.
About 2.5 hours, some cutting, grinding, a few choice words directed at the old mounting brackets, and probably a questionable amount of confidence later... NEW AWNING INSTALLED!
What impressed me most about Sandy Vans was that they were helpful even after realizing I might not be paying them to do the installation. They still took the time to answer questions, look at my setup, offer advice, and make themselves available if I ran into problems.
That says a lot about a business.
I highly recommend Sandy Vans for their customer service, knowledge, courtesy, availability, and willingness to actually help their customers. Cindy, Braden, and Brian were all great to deal with.
Now hopefully this awning and the Utah wind can maintain a respectful relationship.”

“I had a great experience with collision Fix after bringing my Tesla Model S in following an accident. There ended up being more damage than what was initially visible, including damage behind the front bumper and a suspension issue. They took the time to thoroughly inspect the car, kept me updated with pictures and videos, and explained what they found along the way instead of just replacing the obvious parts.
I really appreciated that they worked with me on the repairs and focused on getting the car back together correctly and safely. Seeing the before-and-after difference was incredible. They replaced and repaired everything that needed attention, got the front end looking great again, and made sure the alignment and mechanical work were checked before returning the car.

“Car looks beautiful. Staff were extremely patient and nice. It did take a week before I could drop it off, then probably another 10-12 days for repairs to finish. Rental car place picked me up and I was even able to leave the rental car there when finished! Talk about convenient. Small thing that caused some stress and early misunderstandings or miscommunications was from the beginning I mentioned the backup camera was damaged. Staff said NBD they'll rewire or replace it. I called a few days to follow up then was asked if I had receipts for the initial installation or purchase (I did not; it was done out of state years ago at a local shop). Again told they'll just use a similar one. Days again, or a week later, repairs are complete on the expected day but the backup camera couldn't be rewired, so one had to be ordered. This would add a few more days to the repair. I was not at fault, but still paying $22/day for the rental car **damage waiver** that enterprise said insurance doesn't usually cover, and charged me for in advance. I expressed to luxury auto wondering if it would be cheaper to keep paying the daily damage waiver or just reinstall the camera elsewhere. In the end to everyone's surprise they had backup cameras on hand, but this added a few days to the rental and the camera no longer turns on just by pressing button on the home screen (it has to be in reverse). Shockingly insurance reimbursed for rhe damage waiver too. The car looks gorgeous and clean and was not totalled out. Was rear ended pretty good with damage going into the trunk area. Cannot tell. Amazing!”

“Eddie did a fantastic job on my “impossible” repair. I was told by many people that this dent was beyond fixing and I’d need the entire two doors repainted. He was able to get it 95% of the way there in a couple hours and I’m very happy with it! My dent looked like someone shot my car with a BB gun to now it just looks like a little rock hit the paint. 10/10 will be using Eddie again if I ever need dent repair.”
