They load up and give discounts when they can, especially for 4H and FFA kids. The best prices in the county on feed and pet supplies, but without all that showroom fuss. A real feed store with REAL honest and genuine helpers that are the community that makes up the staff here. You may be chatting with the owner, or an ambitious high school kid. You won't know who's who, because the culture of goodness runs through all who call this place home. This is the core of the culture of not only the magic of Santa Margarita, but all of North County and all of SLO County. In all honesty, I don't know of a more "real" feed store or other store anywhere. Love this place! They definitely deserve the business of every pet or livestock owner within a 1940 mile radius. I say that only because there are some great ag stores in Texas.

22720 El Camino Real, Santa MargaritaWent for lunch on a recent trip to California. Everything was very nice and their wine is excellent. Too bad that it is not located at the vineyard. The best experience that I have had at other places was restaurants and tasting rooms at vineyards, often with great views of the vines.

22322 El Camino Real, Santa MargaritaHigh-quality food & drink in a relaxed environment! We were staying at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo and decided to try this place since it is pretty close. It was top-notch!! I had an oat-milk matcha latte to start and then had the Margarita burger with house made bbq sauce which was excellent and I am not a burger person! It is one of the few times I left a restaurant not feeling gross and heavy afterwards. You can actually taste that they are using fresh, quality ingredients - and ALL of their sauces are house made! The side salad was the perfect compliment and my husband and I shared the onion rings - which were perfect! The owners are a lovely couple who have actually been in the food and beverage industry for years (San Francisco and Los Angeles). The whole team is friendly and inviting. Highly recommend. There's a great vintage shop next-door called the Giddy Up to check out after you eat! Will definitely come back!
