15171 Co Rd 306, Buena VistaDr. Gastellum is awesome, everything you want in a vet-- knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. He has been an excellent caretaker for my indoor cats.
Yesterday I took him a stray cat I wanted to get checked out before I let her into my home and around my other cats. She was in really rough shape-- fleas, ticks, tapeworm, etc. Basically everything you would expect from a cat that's been living outdoors and fending for itself. He was patient and accepting of this little animal, giving her the immediate care needed and setting up a plan for her ongoing healthcare.

When the time came for our family to say goodbye, I scheduled an appointment with them. They came to our home and allowed us what time we needed to say goodbye. The whole process was very peaceful. 301 E Main St #260/4626, Buena VistaWe were in town and just needed a snack, so we popped in. The Princeton smoothie hit the spot and we also shared the Quesadilla. If you try to compare this to some over priced city coffee shop, competing with biz on every corner, you might be underwhelmed. We however were just enjoying the weekend in the mountains and found The Blend to perfect. I don't expect excellence and cheap prices, I just expect nice and affordable. This place, while it is a little on the smaller size inside, is a great compliment to the area and BV's little downtown. We'll stop back in next time we're up!

Today I visited at lunch in the middle of January with my dog, and they made wonderful accommodations for us, including turning on the heater in their patio area, bringing my dog his own water bowl, and making changes to my entree based on my dietary restrictions. Very friendly service and tasty food, can't wait to return on my next visit to Buena Vista!

We split The rope salad and it ended up being one of my favorite salads period. The warm cornbread croutons and the Chipotle dressing made it an over the top salad. Baja fish and birria tacos were our entrees and were exceptional. They also bring in really good live music. Highly recommend
