These folks are amazing, they helped me with Thor's transition. Thor's last sight was me staring into his eyes while he left this World. We followed a trusted referral, and TMVC took our dog in during a unexpected crisis. Drs. Valori and Robinson and staff gently guided my wife through difficult times while sadly, I was out of town and out of contact. The showed tender, compassionate care for our dear old boy. My wife and I are deeply grateful.

Dr. Taylor talked to me for a few minutes at my appt and knew we had a serious situation. She even squeezed me in the next day for surgery. We have been taking our dogs and cats to Green Mountain Animal Hospital for at least 10 years. Dr. Garms is an AMAZING vet and person. Unfortunately we had to recently put our 19 year old female calico cat down. We came in on a Wednesday to have our cat looked at to see what we could do to help her in any way. Dr. Garms was not available, but Dr. Cody was. Dr. Cody was beyond helpful and informative. Our cat was getting around, but barely. One question that was very much on our kid's minds, (18 and 16 years old), was if our cat was in pain. Being a cat lover like Dr. Cody is, he said definitely. This was mainly due to how our cat was barely walking etc. So this was something that reassured our kids that end of life for our cat was the best avenue. Because we wanted all of our family to be present for this event, Dr. Cody came in on a Saturday, on his day off, to make sure everything was done respectfully, especially since it was he who we initially saw. Dr. Cody did NOT have to come in on his day off, but he did. Putting our cat down was a very respectful, informative and quiet experience. Emotional too but Dr. Cody helped us and our kids immensely during this time. I highly recommend this facility. Nothing has ever been pushed on us as far as care for our animals. Thank you to everyone at Green Mountain Hospital during this difficult time for my family.

This weekend we originally stopped by another brewery, but realized it was a football day (we're not sports people) and everyone was glued to the TV in their jerseys. My husband bet me that New Terrain is outdoors-ier and wouldn't have TVs/sports on - I was pleasantly surprised he was right. They have no TVs at all! This place was hopping - definitely plenty of dogs (yay) and kids (less yay). We thankfully didn't have to wait in line to get a drink - I asked for a sip of one of their sours and the beertender gave me a sip of an additional one without asking, which was nice. I went with my original one which said it was like an apple pie kinda thing (I tasted no apples or whatnot, but it was a nice mild sour). My husband got a flight which came with some good-sized samples. It was a beautiful and super warm November day so we got a spot outside in the sun - I think I got a sun tan! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a large parking lot (with plenty of people parking on the street too). Vibes were good and dogs were friendly!

Cute and kind of hidden little spot with plenty of parking. Staff were very nice, dogs allowed inside, and good list of a variety of all gluten free beers. My favorite had to be the blonde! Certainly at the top of my list for breweries. You really can't tell they are gluten free, they're just kinder on my stomach.

Just had the toasted coconut cream pie and it was fabulous. One of the best I ever had. Their tart cherry is what got me hooked on their pies. It is unbeatable and a dimension above the standard sweet cherry pie. Apple pie is exactly what it should be. Only the ingredients needed and lots of them. Can’t wait for peach season to have their peach pie again. Great wows from our daughter on their green chili savory pie. I am not there yet - maybe after I work my way through the other pies. This place is a 12 out of 10.

15630 S Golden Rd, GoldenWe stopped in for a quick drink and found great service, cool folks at the bar to chat with and a very friendly atmosphere. Lots of locals here who love boarding and skiing in the winter months. Dive bars can be hit or miss, but this one was perfect. We'll definitely be back. The drinks were strong, our glasses never neglected and man, we laughed so much with new friends. Be on the lookout though, Columbine Cafe can be easy to miss. There's parking on both sides, but you can only enter the back lawn from the larger parking area. We didn't have food, but will on one of our future visits.
