We historically got our dog’s food from Chewy, mistakingly believing it was cheaper and easier. But in my last visit in, I was pleasantly surprised to find that P&C actually beats the price I was paying online. And the rewards program they offer makes it an even better deal. So we’re shopping locally for our dog food now. Paws & Claws has definitely earned my business!

They manage to get my dog out of the car inside and they do a great job grooming him! My pup came home looking cute, smelling fresh, and was happy. They treat him with such kindness and care. The staff was friendly, professional, and clearly loves animals. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and talented dog groomer. We’ll definitely be back!

We bring both of our pets in together because they do better that way, and the team is always accommodating and patient with them.
When I had an emergency issue with my cat, Dr. Reese helped put my mind at ease and provided excellent care throughout the process. I truly appreciate the compassion and professionalism from everyone at the clinic. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this establishment!

1878 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat SpringsSteamboat Veterinary Hospital got me in to their office the same day I called! Dr. Nate was deeply compassionate toward my fearful pup. He answered all of my questions (of which there were many :) with patience, graciousness and a lot of thought and care. He was thorough and really helped me diagnose and get to the bottom of what was going on with my pup. He was gentle, loving and very perceptive of what my dog needed from the moment he walked in.
The front desk staff were also incredibly accommodating, welcoming, cheerful and kind. To me this makes such a difference when I am in a new place and especially in a stressful situation with a pup in pain.
These folks are wonderful. Their pricing was also fair and it was clear that Dr. Nate was not trying to upsell or gauge me financially on other procedures and tests like another vet practice that quoted nearly $500 more.
Forever grateful to Dr. Nate and all the wonderful people at Steamboat Veterinary Hospital for their compassionate help in a time of need!

1878 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat SpringsThere are not enough positive words to describe Dr. Nate and this office. our 4 month old puppy was bit by a friend's dog and her upper palate was punctured and bleeding into her nasal cavity. it was a Sunday night, the first night of our two week Colorado RV trip. fortunately Dr. Nate answered the phone, hurried to the office and did surgery on her quickly. His tender care of our pup (and her parents) reassured us that all would be well. we were able to finish our trip and our regular vet confirmed she had received excellent care (and at an amazing price). if Steamboat Springs were not so far away, we would have ourselves a new vet. thank you so much. I got the feisty feta and the dolmitas and both were amazing. My wife got falafel and tabouli. All delicious. Plus it came out about four minutes after we ordered it.

Smell That Bread Bakery
135 11th Street, Steamboat SpringsYou know it’s fresh baked by the smell when you walk in. (Most likely the inspiration for their name).
Quaint bakery with outstanding, tasting baked goods too.
Cinnamon Roll had a nice soft dough and a fair amount of icing that wasn’t too sweet, which we liked.
Almond croissant had a great flaky & crispy texture with enough filling that you didn’t have to eat most of the pastry to find it. Again, not too sweet and so, so good.
We plan to stop here again. Savory & sweet menu items, & take ‘n bake all worthy of trying based on today’s visit. Yum!
