“Chad was awesome. Guided me through all the options to consider when starting to increase your mileage per run. Had me test out various different fits, cushions, and supports. Shopping local was 1000% worth it here. Ask for Chad when coming in.”

“5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE.My parents stopped by Ramer's while in DC. They were shopping for my 4 and 6 year old and purchased a few pair of shoes. They received excellent service. The shoes were stolen from a car place the same day. I needed a pair of shoes for my Kindergartener's graduation this Friday. My mom called the store and he took care of us and shipped the shoes to my home. It's Monday and they've already arrived. The shoes fit perfect and are so cute for this special occasion. Thank you Ramer's Shoes for being so kind to my parents and going out of your way to make our day. If we are in town again, we will definitely be stopping by.”
“Shout out to Kimberly for such warm, consultative service! As an avid distance runner for years, I was overdue for a proper fitting. After telling Kimberly a little about my running/shoe history (and that I was "Hoka-curious") she shortly fitted me with fantastic options. I soon walked away with a pair of Hokas after this insightful visit (turns out I need wide shoes and have been wearing mine too tightly). Alas, a gem of a shop nestled near the heart of Adams Morgan.”

“This is my go to place for cleaning and restoring all my shoes. It was much easier to take my favorite pair of Js or Air Max to have them refreshed rather than trying to find them again and paying the high prices now. In a time of things being so exspensive this place is a def go to for me. Also you can donate shoes so if you have shoes you do not know what to do with donate them so they can go to someone that needs them.”

“I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. The owner took my worn shoes (Paraboot’s purchased in Paris) and repaired them on extremely short notice before a work trip. He did a fantastic job at a very fair price. While I was there, I couldn’t help but to admire the beautiful collection of shoes on sale.If I ever need my shoes repaired, I will certainly be back. Also, I will only buy upscale shoes from Sky Valet.Thank you!”

“I came to the store right as they were closing and Kimberly and her manager were so kind to let me in to grab a few things. Our store in Philly recently closed, so I was so happy to find one in DC with lots of options and super helpful staff!”
“I went here in the afternoon, so there weren't many people there. However, it took quite some time before someone approached me and asked if I needed any assistance. I was given a pair of shoes to try on, but then the staff simply disappeared to the other side of the store and began assisting other customers. Aside from that, I was served immediately after asking another staff member for assistance, and they were friendly.”
“I specifically am giving this review about Maisy (I think that is how her name is spelt). She was amazing!!! I needed a good pair of jeans (which is so hard to find today) and she worked really gave me the help I needed. This includes going through the different styles and sizes to help me find a great pair of jeans!! I tried on so many styles and she was honest about which were the best for me and what I felt most comfortable in. The jeans I got are amazing. Even my coworkers commented on how good these jeans look on me. They are good quality and good everyday jeans. I recommend going here and having Maisy help you.”

“I visited on a Sunday and was immediately greeted by Andrew, who was very personable and helpful. I was the only customer in the store for most of the visit, and he politely asked the next arrival to wait while we concluded our business. Even with someone waiting, I didn’t feel rushed or pressured; it felt like Andrew was just there to help me buy shoes instead of to sell me shoes if that makes any sense.”

“The shoes already sell themselves and they always have a ton of selection; however, additionally this Georgetown location has the BEST staff.Whenever there's a new shoe I'm interested in I have to try it out firsthand, so I go to the Allbirds store in Georgetown. I'm pretty sure they know me by name at this point - I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, let's just say I have quite a few Allbirds in my closet, haha.Specifically, I want to give a shout out to Kewan - from day one he has helped me every time I am looking for a new pair. He's honest and insightful with the styles and colors, helping me when I have a hard time making a decision. He also gives personal perspective on what he owns or plans to get in the future. This kind of service creates loyal and lifelong customers; I'm one for sure after my experiences with the Georgetown team.Best staff in DC!”

“I bought two made-to-measure shirts at this store, and they’re by far the highest quality and best-fitting MTM clothing I’ve ever bought. John and Chris were super helpful.
The only downside is it ended up taking a very long time because there was a mix-up with the manufacturer and they had to re-make the shirt after the first didn’t fit. That said, I appreciated that they immediately spotted that the first shirt didn’t fit and committed to remaking it right away. My experience with MTM has been that they often try to force you to go home with the garment even if it doesn’t fit, so I like that they were honest brokers when it came to assessing fit.
I’ll definitely buy more MTM from them as I build out my tailored-clothing wardrobe.”
