I don’t know a lot about fish, yet, but their costs seemed reasonable. Their fish food and decor is definitely reasonable. They have a lot of salt water options and a good amount of freshwater options available to buyers. Def think it’s worth a stop in.

Bright Cross Animal Clinic
4165 S Tamiami Trail, VeniceSuch a great and caring clinic for pets. We took our very loved Shitzu in when she was very suddenly very ill. Firstly, despite a hurricane imminently advancing, they told us to bring her in. (Other vets apologized but closed early). Then Dr. Myburgh diagnosed her immediately, got meds in her and put her on oxygen. Her odds were not good, but we came home meds and instructions with a better breathing furbaby who slowly got better over 3 weeks. She is a 14 year old dog so we know there is a limit on recovery but she is playing and pain free now. And I credit Bright Cross with saving her life and giving her pain free few more months. Cannot say enough about how impressed and grateful we are to the entire staff both back office and front.

4165 S Tamiami Trl, VeniceI moved to FL in 2019 and started taking my dogs here because it is 5 mins from my house. I have been here for routine care, for critical care, and sadly for euthanasia. Recently, I have been here often for surgeries on my beagle who has terminal mammary cancer. I want to specifically say that Dr. Cliff Myburgh and Dr. Maria, their surgeon, have been absolutely amazing through my ordeal with my dog. I have probably called 2-3x each week for a few months and everyone has been responsive and gotten me in /given me what I have asked for quickly. Dr. Cliff goes out of his way to provide advice and suggestions. I also highly recommend Dr. Eva. The staff is wonderful as well and returns calls/emails promptly. It is not the cheapest place but finding a reliable vet is not easy to do and worth the cost.

We had known Tom from his being an Usher at the Cathedral for 30 plus years.. I knew both he and wife had shown their dogs at dog shows for years, but learned that they have a successful training business... I signed us up for his beginner class and can't tell you how great of an experience it was... Our dog became by far the best trained, most obedient dog we have ever had..Just an absolute joy to be around.. I strongly recommend Tom and Sherry to help you make the very best of your furry freind..

200 Base Ave E, VeniceI saw Parise’s on The Sarasota View and decided to drive from Sarasota to Venice to try their cannoli’s and coffee for breakfast. The coffee is amazing. Much better than Starbucks and less expensive. I had a pumpkin mousse and New York cannoli. Unbelievable. They also had Sicilian , cheesecake and peanut butter cannoli’s available as well as other pastries. I took one of their “bowls” home for lunch. Delicious. The husband and wife team are cordial and delightful. There is some outside seating under the trees. I most highly recommend going for some very delicious food. They have many other lunch dishes. Check their Facebook page for hours and the changing daily menu.
