“I like Hy-Vee. Their employees are always willing to help me locate a wayward item.
Sometimes, I have my groceries carried to my car, and for this, I always tip a few dollars, nothing life changing. I was surprised to learn that tipping is quite rare. Bigfoot sightings seem more numerous.
You know a few dollars can really help those kids out!!”

Jeff and Rose work diligently in the background to keep things running smooth. Dale and Kevin are like an old married couple.... Bantering back and forth with each other and customers make it fun. I look forward to my morning Casey's visit because of the great people working here. This place would make a good TV sitcom.”

“We love Casey's, and especially this location. The food is fantastic and their workers are so friendly. They also keep the location (including rest rooms) clean. One worker, James (IV?) always greets us as you walk in the door, is friendly at check out, and is just an overall fantastic employee. Yesterday when I made a pit stop between jobs, he was even outside cleaning off the outdoor freezer for the bags of ice! He had a spray bottle and rags, wiping it down. That was the only time in our nearly 15 years in this town that I have seen an employee do this. Super work ethic. I was impressed. Thanks everyone at Casey's for keeping the place clean and friendly. It keeps us coming back.”

“After the move from Ankeny to Urbandale, we have settled on this Hy-Vee as our usual grocer of choice. There is always a nice selection and great produce. Typically I can find everything I need on my shopping list in this one store. While I love the Waukee store, I do miss having a Starbucks inside, but it makes sense because there is a free-standing store across the street. I loved the Prairie Trail store in Ankeny because it seemed to be larger, but I could be wrong. The only thing I find disappointing is how Hy-Vee like so many other retailers seems to be pushing to the self-check lanes. How can I find a "Friendly Smile in every aisle" if I am dealing with a machine? No thanks.”
“Overall, a great a service station. The gas prices were on par with the going rate in Iowa, bathrooms were clean, and there's an Arby's attached to it. They have a huge selection of stuffed animals/lovies for the little ones and fountain drinks, snacks, and hot pizza.The location is nice because it less busy than the Des Moines stations. Plus, it has some green space to let the kiddos and/or pups move around a bit.”
“I enjoyed my time there. The environment is great. I love all the cool merchandise and items they have. I love there forreal ice cream machine in the back and you know I love me some breakfast pizza. I think I'll even go and take a trip there later today. I love this place and it's almost like a Second home to me.”

“I got gas and paid at the pump, so I can't attest to in store. Here's what I do know. I hate answering 50 questions when I pay at the pump. It's Iowa and it's cold out- Just give me my gas! I wish the pump could hear me, because he would just give me my gas. I'm usually rude to the pump, because I am freezing my a$$ off answering questions. Just give me gas after I pay. Please”

“We stopped in on a Saturday morning and was floored by all the food options! I got a breakfast sandwich made fresh. The person making the sandwich was very friendly.The checkout counter was also very friendly.Would definitely stop by more often if it was on my morning route to work.”

“Right off the main road. Came in to grab gas, the gas station has a lot of entrances and parking. Getting in and out was super quick. Grabbed a coffee inside, everything for coffee was available and ready to go. The clerk was super nice and we were quickly on our way.”
