They have Knowledgeable and friendly staff! Riley recently help us and was awesome as well. Wait is slightly long, but feels like queue moves faster than other mobile places. If it's is a longer wait, then you can take advantage of shopping in the mall in the meantime.”

Cash (at times, dangerous to keep that around), checks, loading onto a prepaid card they have, and others. Several ways to meet one's needs, just ask for your preference. Steve arrived at the house and quickly figured out the problem; wiring and a bad transformer. He quickly completed the rewiring and installed a new transformer. Then, when we got the camera working and discovered a light pink hue across the entire picture, switched it out with a brand new Nest Hello. All this completed same day we called and the before we needed to travel out of town. I would highly recommend this company for any electrical or security system related work. Very knowledgable, quick and they even cleaned up after the work was completed. Outstanding, professional performance!!”

We came in today (10/30/23) to upgrade all our lines under a promo and add a tablet at about 12;30ish, every thing was going smooth until some eSIMs decided to misbehave for 3 of the phones. What would normally take an hour turned into 4 easily filled with troubleshooting and phone calls. But Michael and Christina did AMAZING getting it all fixed and all devices functioning and still got out in time to enjoy trick or treating with our kids! Thanking these two so much!”

This story has an incredibly happy ending and it is because of Matt, who stepped up and did the research that others at Mediacom did not although they failed to do so with kindness. Matt is the only one who truly drilled down into the problem, which was that Mediacom did not have a record of me having returned my internet modem 15 months ago. It was returned, directly, to their Ingersoll office in Des Moines. So you can imagine my surprise when I reached out to have Mediacom installed at our new address in Urbandale. They initially told me that I had NOT returned the modem and that I owed $430. I knew that was incorrect. The "ticket" created on their end was languishing as our move in date approached. Even Matt initially said that we owed money. However, Matt did something that no other Mediacom rep did. He actually listened to me. He actually believed me. He did not think of me as a liar and a thief. His belief in what I already knew to be the truth paid off as he asked enough people enough of the (W)right questions and got the facts - that we had, indeed, returned the modem. Thus, I do not have to reach out to CenturyLink or Viasat, whose customer service rating is as low as Mediacom's, and even lower. Because today, one guy made a difference. That guy is Matt, Matt in Waseca, Minnesota. Please, somebody at Mediacom, buy Matt a beverage, clap him on the back, give him some love and honor him - as a newer hire as well as someone committed to doing the (W)right thing. WELL DONE, YOUNG MAN!”
