“Went here for family reunion for the second time. This is primarily a golf resort, but there are other activities available. Indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and pickle ball courts, spa, restaurant, gym.

The rooms are comfortable, though I wish there was a dresser in the room. Only able to hang clothes. There is a nice TV, an iron and ironing board in the room, hair dryer and desk with the only chair, so the only other seating is the beds. Also have a small fridge and microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker.

The resort is very large. Our family had two meals included and a gathering room for meals and socializing. Was a long walk from the lobby to the room for meals, but the food was very good.

I think my family enjoyed the weekend, and since this was the second time we chose this place, we obviously liked it. It's located just south of Baltimore, so there are things to do there, too. It's also close to Ellicott City, a lovely town with nice shops and restaurants. Both the resort and Ellicott city restaurants were fairly popular, so make reservations for activities and meals. The restaurant was not as busy but has a limited menu.

I would go back for a third time, because it really is a good place for families and things to do. Prices are not exorbitant for the rooms. Don't know what it costs for golf, but it looked like quite a lot of people were golfing. If you need a clean decent place for your event, I would recommend you check it out.”

“Incredibly beautiful hotel, I almost wish I had stayed longer just to enjoy how pretty it was. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a small issue with my booking; the system somehow double booked me, under two different discount codes. The lovely woman at the front desk was very efficient at clearing it all up getting me situated while also being very nice and joking around. The manager came over just to check on things and was also great to talk to. Valet parking was very easy, and the attendants were great. Went to the café downstairs, food was pretty pricey, but for the area it isn’t bad, and the portions are *more* than generous.

Literally a block away from CFG arena. The room wasn't very expensive compared to others, and I likely saved even more just by not needing to take an uber. I was here for a kpop concert, as were many other guests, as well as a lot of military people were staying. So a very loud gathering of people on top of being in downtown Baltimore. However, my room was very peaceful, no excess noise spilling in.

There is certainly some wear and tear in the rooms, like other reviews have stated, but nothing to detract from the stay at all, just what one can expect from a historic site.”

“Great location, finally a nice hotel not only near, but NEXT TO Johns Hopkins. Beds are ridiculously comfortable and bathrooms are spacious but feel cold. Dear Charles has a great menu… LOVE the breakfast selections and don’t skip the roasted chicken for dinner. Staff is solid and works hard to ensure you enjoy your stay.”

“June 1-3 2026 I stayed at Hotel Indigo ,it was an emergency trip to be by mother’s bedside. I can not overstate how kind and accommodating everyone was. Sleep did not come easy,, which caused me to be up and down, some might have been annoyed but Jamal, the night manager allowed me to pace and roam, he offered conversation if I wanted or solitude in the lobby, whatever II needed. His kindness was a light in a very dark time for me. He has otherworldly emotional intelligence , which is the difference in a good hotel and a great hotel. The hospitality industry too often the human element is lost inside the cooperate conformity of rules and regulations protecting profits. Not at this hotel, I felt like the staff were old friends I was meeting for the first time. Thank you Jamel for being so kind. You should run your own hotel.”

“First time staying at this particular hotel- Right away I was super impressed how friendly all the staff was ranging from the concierge's desk to the staff at the our work Holiday Party!
I was impressed how clean the hotel was from our room to the lobby to the gathering spaces through out the hotel....
I was loved the fact the hotel is located in the heart of the Inner Harbour with great views...
I can't stress how impressed I was with the friendly staff, how clean the hotel was...
Oh, I forgot to mention that our hotel bed was super comfortable and smelled good which is a big plus for me...

“Stay here regularly for work. Lyle (GM) and his team always are so personable! Ellysia, Heidi and Helena are the normal staff and always remember myself and our work colleagues. Definite recommend a stay!”

“Decent place to stay, convenient location for what I needed. Room felt a little outdated. We ended up with the accessible room, which is right outside the elevator. Elevator noise didn't bother me once I had a small fan going, but it did wake my partner up a few times. We did arrive really late, so I wasn't going to try to switch rooms or anything. Has an electric blind but the blind was ragged and torn. Otherwise decent room. Sink deep enough you could get a wheelchair under it, shower had lots of safety bars but does have a tub, so you have to be able to step in. Second place we stayed at that only has one nightstand by the bed! Staff was not super welcoming, not rude just you could tell they didn't want to be at work lol.”

“Extremely comfortable beds. I stay in hotels 200 nights a year (pilot) and this is a top 5 bed. Also, front desk attendant, Jay, was one of the most welcoming and helpful staff members of any hotel I’ve ever been to. Out of thousands of staff, he is top 0.1%! He needs to be recognized for his superior and exceptional service!”

“Here for a work conference. Didn't stay the night. Beautiful grounds and fun pathways to explore on breaks. The food here has been variable in the 15+ years I have been attending conferences here but it's at an upswing now. The individual packed breakfast and lunch was very good and healthy.”

“This Hampton inn , in owing mill is the best. Wonderful staff, nice people. Lady j, angel, stanley, and Stephanie Chrissy, desrayare wonderful. They are very professional, friendly . If you want a clean, respect front desk, and give every guest, there full attention, come there and stay. They all know my room I like, which all the room are wonderful. 306. It s nice too come to a hotel and they are very friendly and nice. I tell you one thing, that is excellent customer serves. I love coming there , this give me a break. They give 110 percent. And you never find or see anyone at the front desk . Making you wait, being rude and they answer all you ll question.i give this hotel a 10. I been coming for over years. I m a manager of a hotel , but I love the Hampton in. Ms. C from room 306. I can not say my whole name, but they know who I am, because of being a manager at a different hotel.”

“I always stay at this hotel when visiting my work. It's generally always a good experience.

I do miss the chef that used to be in the restaurant ? I don't think he's there anymore.

If I had any complaints it was that the ice machine was gone on my floor and I had to go track one down.

Check your receipt to when you park because sometimes their automated system gets screwed up and you may be double charged.”

“I mean I hope you set your expectations correctly here. A government owned hotel. I was impressed with the room, had everything I needed, however didn't seem the cleanest overall.

Service was 10/10 at night, morning service was....physically there but not the most helpful at all. Probably 6/10 in the morning just not really engaging with my questions and getting distracted on their phone while I was standing there.”

“RODEWAY INN AS FAR AS MY EXPERIENCE,My family ,I stayed there for about 3mos at 75$ a night ...you can only stay for 21 days at a time so that you don't become a resident, will not have to pay taxes any more, THAT'S THE ONLY REASON I DEPARTED FROM THERE,I WISH THEY DIDN'T HAVE THST POLICY,I WOULD STAY THERE TILL I FIND MY PERMANENT PLACE..However RODEWAY INN,STAFF was there at the exact time I needed.. my family,I are going through the struggle right now and their what we needed financially.NO LAUNDRY ONSITE...I have bed bug spray,Lysol spray,Lysol cleaner,bleach,shower curtain,sheets, blankets,wash clothes,towels,broom, dustpan etc....that's for any hotel, however the cleaning crew does what needs to be done ? the LADIES are AMAZING,THEY WORK HARD TOO!!!!Sam at the office as well he makes sure you get your packages and he is very pleasant... I've stayed in rooms 201,202,216 and I HAVEN'T SEEN OR FELT NOT 1BEDBUG..THEM FLYING RED ,BLACK NEW BUGS OUTSIDE WERE ERKY (I hate any kind of bugs),FAR AS ROACHES I BELIEVE THEIR COMING THROUGH WITH TRAVELER'S..but that's not my experience....rooms are big spacious, microwave,fridge freezer,hot water,Internet in every room,ice onsite, I'M GLAD I WENT AND DIDN'T LET THE REVIEWS STOP ME,YOU DON'T JUST TAKE MY OPINION GO AND CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF! “We stayed three nights. 1st time in awhile that housekeeping actually changed my sheets during my stay, without request. They provided fresh towels daily with out request and without counting the towels we returned. There was actually a continental breakfast instead of the bait and switch, we don't do that anymore since covid response. Foreign Management was friendly and helpful. Room was clean with a fridge and microwave. Price was right. Location is great. It was a quiet, relaxing stay.”
