Elliotte's Pet Spa & Salon Inc.
3002 Guess Rd, DurhamI want to say that after trying different groomers in the Triangle area, this place is by far, and I mean by far, the best out of all of them.Unfortunately, the closer one gets to the Raleigh area, the more they act like their *#*# doesn’t stink and they don’t give a damn if you patronize their business or not, and this behavior came from the owners of the establishments-not the workers !! Without dropping the name of a particular groomer in the Cary area, I literally got charged $1.00 a minute for being three minutes late. When I explained that I got stuck at the railroad crossing just a couple of blocks from their place, she told me rules are rules !! Stupidly, on my part, I still gave the groomer a hefty tip, but, I should’ve deducted the $3 from the tip and tell her to get it from her greedy boss. Her greed costs her my regular business, and that of my neighbor.Anyway, getting back to Elliot’s Pet Spa. They were so nice and friendly. They don’t waste time keeping ur animal caged up for a whole day. Our groomer, Jenna, is such a sweetheart. Our toy poodle literally jumped right into her arms. And, he came back looking and smelling like a million bucks. She pays specific attention to requests and details. The pricing is so fair-it’s a no brainer for us. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot for anyone that is looking for great service and great pricing. We tried another groomer in that shop and she was also very good, kind, and courteous. But, for us, after so many of our friends told us about Jenna, she’s our girl (hands down)……. You won’t be disappointed in any way with this establishment. Don’t waste time with all of the other wannabes !!!! Elliot’s Pet Spa in Durham, on Giess Rd. (Very close to the 85)….. It’s so conveniently located, even coming from the Raleigh area, is not a problem.P.S. The only hiccup I can say is that they only accept cash payments. Not a big deal-either way you have to pay. So just make sure you get cash and remember-YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED !!!

Petropolitan Dog Grooming
8123 Herndon Rd, DurhamI am not a client. I am giving this location 5 Stars for the response given to the "former" client that gave your establishment a 1 star. I commend you and would HIGHLY recommend and I will definitely come to your establishment when you have the staff to welcome in "New Clients". The fact that you managed and pull through Covid 19 speaks a lot AND the amount of 5 stars that you have across the board SPEAKS more than the one 1 star that you received. I hope that someday you can open to "New Clients", I will keep looking out. GREAT JOB in standing up for your establishments reputation and your staff.

Parkwood Animal Hospital
5107 NC-55 Suite 101, DurhamThe primary reason I chose Parkwood for my pet was based off the excellent reviews long term and even new patients left for this establishment. We’ve been going to Parkwood now I would say for over a year and we have received nothing but the best care for my pup. Times where my dog has worried me, we’ve called and they don’t just automatically say “bring her in” they make honest recommendations before they just take your money like other vets. They are also reasonably priced and they really value their patients. Thank you to all of the staff at Parkwood for the amazing care you give!

Willow Oak Veterinary Hospital - Mark Cagle DVM
1012 Broad St, DurhamThe care we receive here from Dr. Smith is top notch. Our dog is a difficult patient with a complicated medical history, and she is always so patient with him. We recently went through a big health scare with him, and she was wonderful every step of the way. I felt like she was genuinely feeling all of the emotions we were feeling as we made decisions for him, and she was able to get him in at NC State for surgery. She has been a partner in his care and shown true interest in his wellbeing. We continue to travel almost an hour to come to Dr. Smith even after having moved out of Durham because of the level of care our little guy receives.

As first time dog owners, she was so knowledgeable in helping us understand what our puppy Molly was going through during her 3-4 month growth spurt and helped us learn techniques that set her up for continued success as an adult dog. Our training sessions each week were a favorite part of our week and Molly loved her time in training. Kassondra's follow up homework/lesson plans were incredibly thorough and helped us make progress during the weeks. I'll be recommending her to anyone I know who gets a new puppy. Dog Academy of NC, LLC
1215 Stone Rd, DurhamI recently had the pleasure of acquiring a poodle from Sandra and Michael and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I made contact with them to the day I brought Onyx home; every aspect of the process was handled with the utmost professionalism and care.First and foremost, the welfare of their dogs is clearly their top priority. Upon visiting their facility, I was impressed by the clean and well-maintained environment in which their dogs are raised. It was evident that each dog received ample love, attention, and socialization from the breeder and their staff. This nurturing environment undoubtedly contributes to the excellent temperament and demeanor exhibited by their dog.Throughout the entire process, Sandra remained transparent and communicative. They provided regular updates on the progress of my puppy, including photos and videos, which only served to increase my excitement and anticipation. Additionally, they were readily available to answer any questions or concerns I had, both before and after bringing my puppy home.In conclusion, I cannot recommend Dog Academy of NC, LLC highly enough to anyone in search of a puppy. Their dedication, commitment to quality, and customer service set them apart as a breeder of excellence. Thanks to them, I now have a beloved companion who brings joy to my life every day.

The Pet Wagon Hotel
3215 Old Chapel Hill Rd, DurhamI’ve been taking my German shepherd Bennett here for over 2 years and have only positive things to say. After changing jobs I tried a few other dog daycares out of convenience - Pet Wagon is by far the best and the only place I’ll continue to bring him. They take extra measures that go above and beyond & show they really care about safety, your animal and every animal that’s there. Based on my experiences, I’ll share a few things I think would be helpful to other dog owners and what makes Pet Wagon stand out.1. This was the only place that would accept him without being neutered after 8 months old which was important to me being that it’s not recommended for his breed’s health to be neutered that young.2. The dogs are separated into specific play groups and closely supervised with an appropriate dog to staff ratio. I’ve seen other places have many large dogs in an enclosure, sometimes with 1 person monitoring all of them.3. They don’t just “watch” the dogs play - they put in extra effort to improve less than ideal behaviors included in each visit. I noticed an improvement in Bennett’s play manners soon after he started going. When I struggled with other behaviors at home and reached out to discuss training options, Maria patiently listened to my concerns and came up with a plan for additional measures while at daycare/boarding until he could get formal training.4. My dog doesn’t come home dirty or stinking like a kennel. Other places would send him home covered in mud, dusted in dirt to the point his black coat looks brown, or smelling so bad I’d have to wash him that evening. The Pet Wagon has even gone out of their way to give Bennett a full bath after an upset stomach episode so he was nice and clean when I picked him up, bless them for that.5. They text the CUTEST photos which I especially appreciate when he’s boarded. I’m always reminded he’s in a good place and being well cared for.Thank you to the owners and staff for providing a safe and loving environment at the Pet Wagon. B and I appreciate you!

She comes to feed and stay hello to our two kitties every time we go away and makes sure our chickens are out in the morning and tucked and secured in the coops at night. We never have to worry when we go away. She always shares pictures each day she stops in and even gets good shots of our very shy cat! He never does that for anyone but obviously feels comfortable with her. Off Leash K9 Training
2304 Coley Rd, DurhamWe had an incredible experience with our trainer Brittany. We had never done training like this before and was a little hesitant due to the unknown. Let me tell you this was worth every penny. Brittany was not only very nice, honest and straight forward with us. The day we dropped him off, she made sure we had updates continuously thru each day including the day of drop off. I can’t express how that impressed us along with her commitment to the job. Brittany was very detail with instructions on what she was doing and sent videos to show the progress. Our boy is in a new frame of mind and it has been a very smooth and nice transition since he came home. The main thing is having the tools we need to continue his training and for us to be as consistent as she was with him. If you’re hesitant, but want an excellent trainer with impeccable knowledge and advice, you should give Brittany ring.

Our mixologist, Berkay, was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. He shared the history behind each spirit and walked us through the tasting notes in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely enjoyable.
The food menu was another big win, especially as someone who eats vegan. They offered vegan options, which made the experience feel inclusive and well thought out
