I've had several lessons on proper gun handling from Sam who is excellent to work with. I recommend this whenever you have a new gun or rifle. He also teaches a certification class for a concealed weapon license. And Daneen is excellent to work with on new purchases. Eagle 1 is an excellent part of our gun owners' community.”

“Over many visits to this store, I have always found that every staff member was very friendly, very helpful, and EXTREMELY knowledgeable! Nick helped me today with wading boots and he knows the fishing gear inside and out. Ask for him and you won't be disappointed. (And he gave me some good recommendations for specific flies to use on the Eno River, where I'm going next.)
And major kudos to the Orvis customer satisfaction policy. My Orvis boots had a premature sole failure and Nick helped me with a credit for a boot upgrade. Fabulous service!
Personally, I’d like to see higher ratio of fishing gear to clothing. But the (very nice) clothes are evidently quite popular, so I can't really fault Orvis for offering such a big selection.”
“This store has everything you ever need to be outside. You can buy a dress and kayak in the same place. Everyone who works here is super helpful and very friendly. I was amazed by the selection available on a variety of products. If you enjoy being outside, you need to visit the store regularly and check out their selections. My favorite items were the honey sticks at the register.”
“Gordie is AWESOME and he knows what he's doing. Not only did he have my racket restrung and regripped within 24 hours, the quality and care that went into it is excellent. “Great place for most sports including baseball, hockey, lacrosse, fitness, soccer, disc golf, golf, tennis, and more. They buy and sell gear at very reasonable prices for my hockey gear. Sometimes if you try to sell something that has something slightly wrong with it (even if it doesn't really make a difference in performance), than they will not accept it to be sold. Otherwise, this place is great for getting rid of old or unused equipment, with their easy process where you get a certain amount of store credits to use (or not-you get the choice :)) on your next purchase there! And no im not a review bot”

“I recent went shopping for a particular shoe and while there the staff were all amazing and knowledgeable about product. The staff offered a very welcoming greeting and the young lady that helped me was very nice and communicative. We talked for at least 10 minutes regarding the store and product they carried. I would definitely revisit next time I am in need of a shoe.”
