“Located in the heart of downtown Cleveland, and overlooking Memorial Plaza on its backside, this wonderfully restored building built in 1930 once served as the headquarters of the Cleveland Board of Education. During my three nights at the hotel, I found the staff upbeat and helpful, the common areas spotless, the pool and small gym functional, the restaurant adequate, and the bar with food until midnight a fun and convenient spot.
The bartender Cheela is a friendly extrovert who has a local following, and server Nicole in the restaurant exudes friendliness and helpfulness to patrons.
Jeramy at the front desk made the check-in seamless.
My room faced Memorial Plaza with specular view of the Cleveland Center and other downtown classic structures. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Convention Center, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Cleveland Browns Stadium, and Cleveland City Hall. The hotel is reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. One of the photos posted below shows the view from a third-floor hotel room of Memorial Plaza and DT Cleveland.
One must use valet parking for hotel-sanctioned parking, but I found a lot under the Memorial Plaza proximate to the hotel that I used throughout my stay.
The Drury Plaza Hotel is an excellent choice for a visit to Cleveland if you want to stay in the heart of the action.”

“This hotel is what you expect when you pick the Hilton brand. Rooms were spotless. No smoke smells in any areas of the hotel. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Rooms are quiet.

Nice touches such as the app check-in no need to go to the front desk on the way in or check-out. Many elevators so very little wait time.

I was here for a conference. The conference rooms were well appointed. Drink stations were located in multiple locations in the rooms and halls, always kept stocked.

Meals served at multiple lines to make meal service go smoothly and quickly. The meals were all delicious.

Only slight negatives, they started cleaning windows of the main ballroom/conference room with 100s of attendees in attendance and the noise was unbelievable loud and distracting to the presenters. The hotel should have anticipated this and timed the window cleaning between conference events.

The elevators require you to scan room cards or use the digital app to up or down but you have to scan inside the elevator. It was difficult to scan and select a floor before the elevator started to move so missed floors multiple times.

The hotel checked in via text message throughout my stay and answered my responses almost immediately. I felt like they cared that I was there.

Great location to visit Cleveland.

Rooms: The rooms were large, clean, and quiet.

Nearby activities: The Rock and roll Hall of Fame is very close, and the Flats.

Safety: Felt very safe in and around hotel

Walkability: I always use the stairs and they were all very clean, wide, well light, with windows and glow in the dark hand rail and wall markings. Very good attention to safety.

Food and drinks: Amazing, top quality.

Noteworthy details: Staff were super helpful and friendly at all levels.”

“Easy check in, I was upgraded to a junior suite, very pleasant greeting at the reception. My suite was impeccable, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The Intercontinental Cleveland Clinic’s location is perfect as it’s attached to the clinic. Food at the Table 45 Restaurant is very good. Hotel’s staff are very friendly and professional. Overall, a great experience.

Rooms: My junior suite was spacious with a walk in shower and bath tub.

Nearby activities: Perfect location for business at Cleveland Clinic.

Safety: Very safe

Walkability: There is no need for car as it is attached to Cleveland Clinic facilities.

Food and drinks: Breakfast buffet is very good at North Side Cafe. The dinner menu is excellent at Table 45 Restaurant located on the ground floor.

Noteworthy details: Pleasant and professional staff.”

“The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland is truly worth every penny to stay here. The staff greet you like your royalty. The check in process was smooth as silk. We went from the lobby to our room in not time. Now, the room got my blood pumping! Views, views, VIEWS! I’ve never seen this many views of downtown Cleveland. The in room dining was worth the wait, and the wait wasn’t long. We were traveling with our dog, and every staff member greeted him as of he were paying the bill. We loved every minute of the attention. The saddest part of this adventure was leaving, but we will definitely be back to the Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland. Thanks everyone there for their hospitality, professional and courteous way they treated every member of our family (especially our fur baby). ;)”

“I came here for a wedding reception and the space was beautiful. We went to The Vault and had drinks. The space is an old bank transformed into a bar. The drinks were great. The bartender was amazing and professional. There were light appetizers served: caprese salad and chicken skewers, and they were great but were not typical menu items. There is plenty of seating: so stools, booths, couches, wing back chairs, etc, and places to duck off and have a private moment. It was very mob- like and classy: lots of leather, studded chairs, and leathery pillows interspersed with antiques from the old bank. It really is impressive. The rooftop bar is beautiful, too. Drinks were expensive, and the crowd was younger, but the views of Cleveland were stunning, and there was lots of private seating and high-priced bar food. A great date night place for a night cap. Everything was clean, especially the bathrooms. This is an opulent place. Lots of hard wood and marble details. Big but comfortable. I would definitely go back!!”

“The staff and others that come here to support the patients is incredible. they have a lot of activities for the people that stay here and they are so generous. I honestly don't know what I would have done without them.”

“This Motel 6 was a solid stay for the price. The room was clean, everything worked, and the property was quiet. The staff were great, very nice, professional, and courteous.

There’s a Pilot travel center right behind the building, so snacks and essentials are within walking distance. Across the interstate, there’s a Mexican restaurant called Cozumel that serves phenomenal food. There are other options available on Uber Eats as well, though delivery might take a little longer. I mentioned Cozumel because it is the closest restaurant in the area.

Great location, no hassle, and well worth it if you’re looking for something affordable and reliable. I would stay here again.”

“We spent a weekend at the Kimpton Schofield and really enjoyed it! The rooms were good size and very clean. The hotel itself is quiet and the front desk staff were very sweet. Valet was super fast (although really pricy). It seems like noisy traffic is pretty constant but that’s to be expected downtown in any city. The only minor complaint that I have is that the rooms don’t have enough lighting at all. It was frustrating when we couldn’t have the curtains open to see.”

“We had a great experience at this hotel. When we entered our first room it was evident housekeeping had not been through. The desk immediately apologized, gave us a new room and we had zero issues after that. All of the staff was courteous and polite to us, our room was clean and fresh and breakfast was typical of other IHGs I've stayed at. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!

Nearby activities: About 15-20 minutes to downtown Cleveland with lots to so there plus the hotel is near lots of stores and restaurants for easy access without going far”

“We absolutely loved our visit !! We stayed on the main floor. The room was decorated perfectly for the time period. We laughed that the Bumpus house had tons of pictures of the Parker family and not the Bumpuses but that was the only flaw we could find. We talk about the great memories of our stay and we hope to go back. It's worth it to stay!!”

The rooms are sufficiently spacious, with two good-sized queen beds and comfortable mattresses. The only downside is the dispensers, which can be too hard for children to press.Value for money: The value for money is excellent, making this hotel a convenient choice for those looking for quality accommodation.Location: The hotel is located in Midtown, a quiet area that guarantees a peaceful sleep. “Deion at the front desk was amazing, and every staff member I encountered during my stay was just as impressive. I had originally booked a different hotel and was extremely unhappy with it. Tired, frustrated, and arriving late at night, I checked into the Hampton Inn—and immediately, all my travel problems were resolved with professionalism, courtesy, and genuine kindness.

The staff took incredible care of me and my family when I really needed it, and I slept like a baby. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks to this visit, Hampton Inn is now my favorite hotel brand.”

“Staff was very helpful and kind. Our initial room upon check in was bad but after talking to the gentleman at the front counter, he quickly switched us to another room that was much better. He was very apologetic about the room we were given and we appreciate him showing so much concern for his patrons. Once we settled in to our new room, we slept great as the bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great which is a plus for us. The room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately the pool is closed for maintenance but we were only in town for one night for business anyway. Thanks for the hospitality and the kindness.”

“I booked 2 rooms there yesterday for my grandsons 2nd birthday. He loves to swim. They had a pool, kiddie pool, jacuzzi, game room, & play area all inside the atrium. Beds are comfortable, but legs on tables in the room were really loose. The staff is very nice and friendly!”

“Alice (front desk) is a true professional. She offered us eclipse glasses and suggested the optimal location for us to watch the total eclipse. Alice should be the role model for other front desk personnel! The room was simple and nice, overlooking Lake Erie and the Cleveland Guardians stadium. Highly recommended!Walkability: Perfect location within walking distance to many restaurants, baseball, football, and The Flats.”

“I would rate this a 3.5 or 4 it was good just the only problems were the wifi having the wrong password toilet paper wasn't that good and maybe the shower was dirty a little bit it's a motel not a 5 star hotel so for a motel rate it a 4”

“The rooms were being remodeled. The people who bought it are fixing it up for improvements. They were accommodating, we only stayed a night as we were leaving from Cleveland Airport to go to Vegas. They used to get you keep your car there for free and offer shuttle service to airport, it was included in your night stay. Now it's $10 per night if you leave your car there. They didn't mention that in write up in Expedia, which bummed me out, but it is still cheaper than airport parking. All in all, it wasn't bad.”

“My only complaints are no hot water during shower, and trash cans had no bags, and would like more variety in what is referred to as the “gift shop” it doesn’t seem at all like a gift shop.

The food was amazing I had dinner and breakfast during my stay
Beds were incredibly comfortable
Pillows and blanket were like a cloud ☁️

Enjoyed the fitness room.”

“Dewayne at the front desk is the very definition of hospitality

What an asset, give this man a raise.

Rooms: clean room, but no microwave. apparently the owner bought the place from holiday inn and it had a microwave in every room, but as each one breaks, he wont replace them. theres a microwave in the lobby thats filthy and the timer nob doesnt move. so if you cook your food for 1 minute and walk off for 10, you'll come back to the microwave still running.

they also are really weird about bringing you toilet paper. tried to get a roll at 3am and was told it wasnt possible and told to steal one from the public bathroom.

I gave the place a 5 star because i wanted yall to know how awesome dewayne at the front desk is, but the other things i did wanna express.

Walkability: the middle elevator is broke, so its quite a walk from a middle of the hall room to the lobby

Food and drinks: breakfast always tastes old somehow. like, i got there at 7:12, 12 minutes after it was set out and it tasted so old and cold”

“Flight canceled and every hotel near the airport was sold out due to Rod Stewart concert. Hotel that Delta put me in was horrible so I ended up here. Place was clean and the front desk was super helpful. I was a bit reluctant to book here but I needed a place to sleep 3 hours and no regrets. Bed was clean and room was super cold which was great for me. Sink was clogged up but that wasn’t a major issue compared to the moldy smoky room that Delta put me up at. When Comparing the RL with this, I would choose this one any day.”

“We visited the Cleveland area to do all the touristy things, and this hotel was perfect as our home base. Fifteen minutes to the zoo, 20 minutes to the aquarium, and 15 minutes to the candy warehouse made our weekend perfect. Lots of chain and local restaurants nearby make this spot great.

The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Evening reception was super crowded, but our first night was good. Ran out of EVERYTHING by the second night. Salsa without chips, etc... But we are already thinking of returning on, maybe not a holiday weekend. ?”
