“We stayed here about 10 days ago, and we were very pleased with the hotel. The room was as advertised, and we were happy with the amount of space. The room, including the kitchenette and bathroom were also very clean.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of hot and cold food items. The food servers were very helpful, when needed.
And a special shout out to Mike, who helped us with a car sun roof issue, allowing us to get back home safely. That's the type of hotel manager you always like to have.”

“This motel is by far the cleanest and most up kept motel we have ever stayed in and we have traveled and vacationed for many years. The breakfast is absolutely amazing and the people there are very helpful and kind. The rooms are one hundred percent sanitary and clean, the linins are astonishing, so comfortable and the whole place smells wonderful! Kudos to the owners, the employees and all who take their time to keep it looking, smelling and feeling awesome!”
“I stayed at Microtel for a week while working in the area, and overall I had a great experience. The rooms were very clean, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was, especially since the hotel is a little older. I'm very picky about where I stay, and I would definitely stay here again.
The staff was constantly cleaning and working hard to keep the property nice. I did ask housekeeping to sweep the bathroom while we were out working, and it wasn't done when we returned. I'm sure she was busy or may not have understood my request.
The location was great, and I always felt safe during my stay. Don't let the appearance of the parking lot fool you—the hotel itself is much cleaner than it looks from the outside. In the evenings, many of the workers staying at the hotel gather under the gazebo, which can make it seem like a party atmosphere, but everyone was respectful.
My only concern is the gazebo itself. The wood is badly rotted, and my foot actually went through part of it. I believe it should be repaired or blocked off until it can be fixed for safety reasons.
Overall, the cleanliness and friendly staff made this an enjoyable stay, and I would definitely stay here again.”

“This hotel beat my expectations. Newly renovated rooms and public areas, clean outdoor pool, a great variety of options for breakfast, and friendly staff. This is the first hotel I've been to in a while where the shower pressure was noticeably good! If you're here for a shot time or a long term stay, this is the place to book. The area also felt very safe which was super important for me. Plenty of places within driving distance as well!”

“The AC went out at my home so I needed a hotel quickly to get out of the heat while it was being repaired. My girls and I enjoyed the size of the room, the helpfulness of the staff (I almost left/loss my earpod in the room but they returned it to me) and the included breakfast. We would definitely stay here again if we needed to, or encourage others to do so while staying directly across from the Wolfchase Mall.”

“Hotel was fine, the main detractors were that there was clearly things left over from previous visitors in my room including a crayon that was not cleaned up, the toilet paper roll was poorly placed, and they use a ticket system for accessing and leaving the parking lot. None of these ruined my stay, but were just annoying. Especially since I saw at least 2 people struggle with the parking tickets. I am also glad I got a physical key as the digital key was unreliable. It was nice when it worked, but it needs a lot more refinement. I don't get why it doesn't just replicate the physical key with a dumber NFC read.”

“Ok. So notice how old some of these reviews are before you believe them. We JUST stayed here in march 2025 and it was absolutely incredible. Clearly tons of work and attention has gone into big improvements!! Rooms are so nice and clean, well decorated even if a little small, the lobby is amazing! There is a pool, jacuzzi, bar, continental and hot breakfast (for a fee) and a restaurant. We got a pizza a fries. The pizza was SO good!!! We will only stay here when in Memphis or anywhere near it!! The best part about our stay was the staff. I was treated like an old friend the moment I got here by everyone! It made me feel very welcome and appreciated. The luggage carts are nice. The three elevator is super fast and responsive! Try this place out. The prices are incredible for the value you’ll get here! Snack, drinks, water, fancy seats, digital keys. This place has it all. My only critiques are no coffee in room (but it’s free downstairs) the shower curtain doesn’t stay in place covering the whole shower ( may have just been our room) and we had a fridge but no microwave.
These things really didn’t matter. We had a cozy bed, hot water with amazing water pressure, nice heat and air, comfy couch, big mirror for getting ready, clean hallways, didn’t hear anyone else in their rooms at all, and clean hallways. Ice and vending on 6 and 8.
Stay here! They’ve put so much into warning your business!!”

“This is the second time I’ve stayed here. My first room was a little nicer, this room the chair is torn up and the seating area has horrible stains all over it. I didn’t sit my luggage on it! I would just do away with the cushion, problem solved. The room is clean, bed is good and that’s my main concern. As far as breakfast if I get a waffle I’m definitely good. This is my favorite motel to stay when I visit my son, wife and grandson. People are friendly enough checking me in.”

“The room was pretty decent for the price, it looks like they just renovated it since the rooms looked freshly painted, the restroom looked new as well and since is a gated motel you feel really safe. We stayed for a week with a baby and we slept without a problem the only thing is that when we arrived for check in there wasn't anyone in the office so we had to wait for the guy to come back and when we entered the room there was a few hairs in the bed other than that towels were clean and new and everything worked.”

“This is my 4th day staying here. The rooms are clean, carpet could use a shampoo. It definitely needs updated. The front desk has been very kind. Breakfast every morning. I have felt completely safe outside. They lock the front doors at night, it is Memphis. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt. “This newly renovated hotel is the ideal spot to stay while in Memphis because it's conveniently located between Bartlett and other small suburbs. They've just renovated the second and third floor and are in the process of renovating the first floor along with the workout room, Swimming Pools and more. They have a complimentary 7:00 a.m. breakfast which is always fantastic when you're starting a day. The rooms are always clean and the staff is super friendly. The only tip I have is that if you book a room make sure to try to book it on the side of the hotel facing the parking lot as there is a trash truck at the neighboring hotel that always comes at 4:00 a.m. to pick up. It's not the fault of the Marriott, just the fact that the neighboring hotel has the trash can place super close to the rooms. We stay here three times a year and a have for the last 7 years and I've never had a bad experience. I would recommend this hotel over any neighboring hotels around.”

“The owner is one of the worst people I have ever met! She has this poor maintenance man & I stayed there a few days & she would beat on his door at 8:30 every morning & he would work all day & never saw him get a lunch break! This other person who lived there said that he worked to pay for his room! That she never paid him any money & that he worked 7 days a week 8 to 10 hrs a day! The rooms are not taking care of due to her not wanting to really fix anything & they have Cockroaches! Would not recommend”

“We stayed for two nights while we visited friends in Memphis. The day was absolutely perfect! Our room was clean and the AC was cold, which we appreciated during the heat wave! Staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. We didn’t want for one thing. Parking was ample, and everyone was super friendly. Location is really convenient and safe. Having a target, Walmart, and other choices just within minutes of us was extremely convenient. Would definitely stay again.”
