I drive from Old Town Alexandria to Fairfax to get my dog groomed. I love this place! My dog has very long hair and can't be shaved completely. Posey Pups does an amazing job! The quality cut, efficiency of wait time for the grooming, and smell of my dog is the best! I have been going to them since they opened. I am so impressed by them. They do a great job on old dogs, and puppies I've brought my dogs here for years.

How Cute Dog Grooming
11218 Lee Hwy, FairfaxFinally found a groomer that listens. They did a FANTASTIC job on my 3 pups. Due to me being sick for almost 2 months 2 of them were really matted and I was very worried that they would have to be shaved. This was during the snowcrete storm of January 2026 with the bitter cold. They spent a couple of hours teasing out the mats to be able to give them PHENOMENAL cuts without shaving them all the way down. I am ECSTATIC that I have finally found How Cute Dog Grooming. They were transformed from the pic of all 3 to what you see in the other 3 pics

Our cat, who hates travel, loves her and put up with inoculations and nail clipping with minimal protest. The staff was also nice and we were taken in on time. This is a wonderful practice and we highly recommend it!

4001 Legato Rd, FairfaxWhen my cat suddenly started losing hair, throwing up, and stopped eating, I was panicking and convinced I was about to lose her. Dr. Adesso made time for us on short notice when I was extremely worried.
Fast forward to now: my cat is alive, eating, her hair has grown back, and she is back to her regular old self. Dr. Adesso truly turned things around and got her back to being herself again.
I will forever be grateful. If your pet is sick, scared, or acting weird, this is exactly who you want caring for them. I would trust her with my cat, my dog, and probably my emotional wellbeing too. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone who loves their pet like a child.

He is a great pyrenees, and like 91yrs old, 126lbs, and can't get up or down into the van. Dr Cheema came out and lifted him down for the visit. Alpha Animal Hospital

About three years ago, my eldest cat passed, and the team at AAH held our hands the entire way through the process. From explaining treatment options to being there when we finally had to say goodbye. They even sent a handwritten condolence card after, which meant so much to us.
Over the past year, one of our cats has a strange allergy on his belly. The doctor has personally followed up at least three times to check in on him, see if he's showing improvement, etc. While that would obviously be the hope for any medical concern, I've never actually had a vet personally call and email to make sure their patient is doing well. It really shows how much they truly care about their animals.
It makes a difference when you can tell the team genuinely loves what they do and the patients they have. We are so thankful to have a vet and team as caring as the AAH staff.
Also enjoy these cute pictures of our cats who are all healthy and thriving because they have such a good doctor to take care of them ☺️

The entire visit was calm and stress-free. By the end, Cosmo was completely relaxed and just chilling with the doctor and nurse, which honestly says everything.

Our situation was a little unique in that they were able to partner with some of my family who stayed with him to make sure that he had the medical care he needed. They were very flexible and accommodating to what worked best for us.
Our elderly dog Carson has mobility issues and struggles to stand on his own, but I received word that he stood up by himself once when Brandon arrived for his daily walk! That was great evidence that Carson really felt comfortable with Brandon, and was happy to see him.
Kim’s Urban Hounds has an app that was very convenient. It provided us with one place for our conversations, scheduling calendar, payment info, etc. They also sent daily reports with how his visits went so I knew how his days were going. This gave me peace of mind. If I had a question or concern, Kim or another member of her staff would return my message promptly. I would not hesitate to employ their services again, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing dog sitting or dog walking services.

I have to say that the appetizer NamTok (Grilled Meat Salad) the beef [ ນ້ຳຕົກ ] had tiny granules of spicy flavor explosions that blew me away!

Great place to catch up with a friend, study, or just eat. They offer bunshik (Korean fast casual food like dumplings, tteokbokki, fish cake soup, etc), pastries and all the things a cafe would have, as well as a full self serve ramen bar in the back. Ordered tea, salt bread, corn creme bread (which is salt bread filled with corn cream. Salt bread sucked. It wasn't even buttery. Corn creme bread sounds weird, but it weirdly worked. It's sweet but not too sweet. Service was good. Loved the ambiance more than anything!

The volunteers were so helpful with all our 'newbie' questions and helped us feel ready to bring home a duo. The kittens are doing great and we couldn't be happier. We are so incredibly in love with them already and it's just been two days. Highly recommend this shelter!
