18001 Bothell Everett Hwy, BothellWe had a great experience at The Dog Stop today. Our dog absolutely despises nail trims and manages to wiggle her way out of them every single time. Even our vet hasn’t been able to trim her nails, so we’ve been searching for someone who could help.
We decided to try The Dog Stop and were so pleasantly surprised. Logan was calm, patient, and clearly experienced. Not only was he able to trim her nails, but he also used the dremel to grind them, which we’ve never been able to accomplish before.
We’re incredibly relieved and grateful and have already scheduled our next appointment. Highly recommend, especially if you have a dog who struggles with nail trims!

She’s seen a few groomers here and they’ve all have done a great job, most recently we’ve seen Ren who has been so consistent with the grooming! I really appreciate how much they care for Luna and she always seems happy to be there! The spa is super clean and well maintained and the staff is always friendly. I’d highly recommend them!

I have a senior cat with a lot of health issues (asthma, gastroenteritis, heart murmur, occasional skin infections) and this vet has taken such good care of him. They are always so clear on what to expect for each visit and send frequent confirmations and reminders. Whenever my cat has labs done, they always take the time to make sure I really understand what's going on with him, what his results mean, and what options we have for treatment moving forward. I've worked mostly with Rachel Eulau in recent times, but have also seen Clark Camper, Lesley Kovar, and Karen Wichert.
Regardless of who is helping Felix out each visit, all of them have shown so much care and attention to detail. The rest of the staff are also wonderful and I appreciate the time they all take to make some of the more difficult parts of Felix's care as smooth, safe, and gentle as possible.

My first time for a “normal” checkup, where I was in the room and engaging with the doctor and team. (The first was during covid and the second was when they were able to squeeze my dog at the last minute). The staff was incredibly friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. They were very comforting to my nervous boy. I am very grateful to have a vet that I trust and is so welcoming.

Our boy has been well cared for and he has an extra step in his walk, even acts a bit cheeky since they improved his health. We thought we were stellar fur parents and the staff here made simple recommendations that improved his well-being. They are careful to consider your pocket book and make everything simple! Misty is amazing! Dr. McKee is great with the animals, has a calm, kind demeanor and will take time to laugh with you. I appreciate her. Dr. Vaugh is more serious and I like her also because she explains everything, is careful of cost and is detailed. Depending on your style, there is someone here that will make you feel your fur child is well cared for. I LOVE that the front desk brings their fur kids to work. The place is small and they keep it organized and they love the animals - there is zero doubt they care 100%. They go the extra mile for your pet.

They have been absolutely amazing as we navigate my cat’s very challenging medical condition. Dr. Gawley truly cares about every cat in her care—she listens, is responsive, and is available when you need her most, which is something I can’t say about many veterinarians I’ve experienced. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian and highly recommend her and her team.

17624 15th Ave SE #108A, BothellWe rescued our Doberman from Texas when he was seven months old. He and his littermates had been found abandoned on a property, dirty and starving. When we brought him home he could barely focus on us. On walks, he reacted to every plane overhead and every bird, and it seemed like he barely noticed we were there. He had no leash training at all, and was destructive at times, ripping up and eating his dog beds and even chewing drywall. He was a sweet boy, but so anxious and unsettled.
That's when we found Steve. Someone I know personally recommended him, as he helped her transform her anxious and very reactive dog when she had almost lost hope.
When you first meet him you'll see the big beard, the tattoos, hear the loud music playing at his facility. Beyond the tough exterior, at his core, he is incredibly passionate, very sensitive, and cares immensely for dogs. He is devoted to showing owners how to truly connect with their dogs. Not through bribing their dog for attention with treats, but through building real connection, communication, focus, and trust. He wants you to have a dog who is devoted to you because of your relationship, not because you’re waving a treat at them.
Watching him work with dogs is incredible. He communicates so naturally through his energy, this centered embodied focus that your dog will respond to immediately. His verbal commands, hand gestures, position, and focus are all aligned and incredibly precise, and this makes it crystal clear to your dog what he wants them to do. It’s inspiring to see and makes you want to work hard to achieve that yourself one day.
He’s also good at working with humans. At one of our first sessions, before showing me a leash handling technique, he quickly paused and asked first if it was okay to touch my hands to demonstrate. I was surprised he even thought to ask. It would have been so easy to miss this as a man, and it showed a lot about who he is.
In addition to teaching you the technical skills, he also coaches you. The farther along you get in training, the harder certain skills can get to execute, and he's right there telling you to stop being a perfectionist, that you're doing better than you think, and to keep going. And when something finally clicks, he is genuinely excited for you and your dog.
I also appreciate his passion and expertise on the proper nutrition dogs need to be truly healthy, physically and mentally. If you aren’t already feeding your dog high quality raw or fresh food, he will encourage you to and educate you on how important it is. He'll explain that nutrition is actually a critical component of your dogs’ mental state and ability to achieve focus. He also recommended several supplements that helped transform our pup’s gut and skin health, and turned his coat from itchy and flaky to shiny and healthy - he now looks like a seal and legitimately gets compliments everywhere on his coat.
Our dog is now a year old, still very much a puppy for the Doberman breed. We’ve had him for just 5 months and he is able to go with me to stores and sit outdoors at restaurants and settle in quietly. We no longer worry about him being destructive in the house. He does well with other dogs of all sizes and even those who aren’t well-behaved. At dog parks when something chaotic is happening, our dog is now able to disengage and stay focused on me instead of joining in like he would have before. People genuinely can't believe how young he is or that we haven't had him very long and constantly comment on how calm he is. He’s also able to be gentle and snuggle with our 17 year old cat.
What Steve gave us went so far beyond training. He really helped our dog who had a hard start in life learn to communicate with his humans and finally feel okay in the world. We’re so grateful.

Doggy Haven Resort
5303 W Interurban Blvd, BothellWe’ve been bringing our dog Bean to Doggy Haven for years for both daycare and boarding, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better place for her. She absolutely LOVES coming here — the second we drop her off, she runs straight in to play with the other dogs and greet the amazing staff without even looking back.
The team has always been caring, attentive, and wonderful to work with, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing she’s happy and well cared for. We’re moving next month and are genuinely sad to leave Doggy Haven behind. We can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and loving place for their dogs!

As the momma of a loving, sassy, energetic German Shepherd, I truly appreciate the genuine love and care they provide. It breaks our hearts that we are moving away, but I can’t recommend them enough. Your dog will be in great hands here!

220 175th Pl SW, BothellFound this place on the Internet as I was planning my trip to Seattle. We travel with two service dogs, but there is occasion that we can’t take them everywhere we go. We left them for the day after having a meet and greet on Wednesday evening and we’re very impressed. I got pictures and updates during the day as I toured the space needle and the glass museum. They had a wonderful time and Nikita and Helen were just the best. I only wish I lived closer so they could come more frequently. I highly recommend this place if you’re traveling to Seattle and you need a safe place to board your dogs this is it. Thank you, Nikita and Helen for taking such good care of my babies.

Tails-A-Waggin' Dog & Cat Inn
19816 Bothell Everett Hwy, BothellI recently had the most amazing and kind and generous help from the 2 front desk workers at Tails a Waggin. My vaccine information was not current for my 2 dogs. While in a panic, I was informed of getting the shots from the local feed store down the street and when I returned, just before closing at 6pm, both young staffers were very patient and helpful to assist me in preparing the shots for my two dogs. The shots required steps I did not know, but both were so great in getting things set up and then they both helped in holding the dogs and explaining to me how to administer the shots. They were not able to do the actual injection for understandable liability reasons, and with their gentle and patient explanation, I was able to give the shots and I was able to leave with everything all done and taken care of by the two staff members. I can't recall their names in my initial state of panic and dear relief, but I must recognize them both for being truly helpful and going above and beyond to help a newbie and frazzled customer get their dogs vaccinated and able to leave them in good hands. I thank you both so very much and I will be coming back again and again when I need kenneling for my two dogs. Sincerely, a deeply thankful and appreciative dog parent!

The atmosphere is incredibly. A little urban with cafe vibes, quiet and relaxing.
The food. My goodness, the food is some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. If you are sensitive to spice, get the lemon and herb. It is so good, I almost regretted getting the shawarma-inspired meal. (Almost). Everything we ate was a solid 10/10.
The owner is so sweet and all the employees we interacted with were very pleasant. She filled us in on the history of the restaurant and gave some recommendations on why to get next time. There will be many “next times” for us!

Update: It's the holiday season and the gift of giving is in the air. I saw a homeless person pulling an old used piece of luggage ? into the Burgermaster building. I decided to go in and pay for her meal. When I gave her money, the homeless person said that the staff there is giving her the meal for free. Such kindness. I told her to keep the money for her next meal. When my food was brought to my car by the waitress and manager, they also brought a gift card for my next meal. Such kindness and generosity. May everyone be touched with kindness and generosity as I did during this holiday season. Our community is richer with establishments like Burgermaster.
It's always a fun, nostalgic place to go. It's the old-fashioned drive your car up, park, stay in your car, turn your lights on when ready to order, and the server comes to you.
