19150 NE Woodinville Duvall Rd Ste 9, WoodinvilleThis is a lovely little shop. The first time I ever came in, I asked at the counter if they had any vegan dog food options. They didn’t, but they realized while talking to me that one of their suppliers carried a vegan option and they promised me they would request it to be stocked. I was taken aback because I didn’t have any intention of editing their inventory that day, I told them that really wasn’t necessary, but they insisted that they want to stock things tailored to what their local community is seeking and remarked that nearly everything in their store was added to their inventory in a similar a way at one point, by someone, even just one person, simply asking for it.
They were also very empathetic to and understanding of a vegan diet for dogs, which I was a bit apprehensive about before going in.
I went back a few months later, and sure enough, the vegan food option (Natural Balance cans) was stocked up! You can find them at the back of the store.
I also regularly come here to get Green Line dog poop bags. Unlike most brands which market themselves as biodegradable, these bags are designed to degrade specifically in the anaerobic environment of a landfill. You can find them on the check out table, left of the register.
I think it can be very meaningful to invest in local family businesses like this, even if the prices are at times a bit higher than large corporations with very different financial realities.

10324 Paradise Lake Rd, WoodinvilleThis was our first time boarding our dog at a dog resort and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice to use paradise pet lodge. We had heard great reviews of the pet lodge and because of our dogs older age and health issues we no longer wanted to rely on friends and family. Paradise did an awesome job making sure our pup was taken care of and his multiple medications were administered. He came home happy and looking great. He had some diarrhea one day and paradise kept an eye on it and administered pumpkins puree which I appreciated. Additionally they cleaned him when he accidentally got some doo doo on his butt. I would no doubt use paradise again for our future pet boarding needs. Only thing is I wish they had more small suites available- those seem so hard to book!!

My dog doesn’t like to be approached by strangers while being washed so it’s nice to have the private space to get things done. The place is always clean and there’s no hidden up charges. Get in and get out and leave with a happy pet.

13317 NE 175th St Suite P, WoodinvilleMy 3 dogs and 1 cat all go to this clinic - I’ve been going to this clinic for about 10 years because they are wonderful! I have always been very happy with their veterinary services whether on an emergency basis or a routine checkup and procedure. The doctors are always knowledgeable and willing to look things up and report back, the vet techs are thoughtful and courteous, and the administrative team are knowledge about how things work when it comes time to schedule future appts, when to schedule what, etc. and they always get back to me right away when I email them, etc. dogs range from 7 lbs to 160 lbs and my cat is a naked Lykoi cat - so I’ve seen the clinic’s support for a few different kinds of patients and I’ve been happy with their approach on preventative care and treatments.
I have also seen them ask for feedback so it’s great that they are proactive about learning how they can improve. A few years back I responded to a survey - I gave feedback in connection with the administrative support team. The Doctor who is the managing partner of the clinic called me right away and listened to my perspective. I have not had any repeat issues since. They also now offer a certain level of emergency services which is great because it is close to our house.

Cottage Lake Veterinary Hospital
19150 NE Woodinville Duvall Rd A8, WoodinvilleI have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Hoover and the vet assistants/techs that I have worked with! My recently adopted kitten has been having blood in her urine and so far tests are showing nothing but Dr. Hoover has her on some meds that seem to be helping and they've been nothing but gentle and sweet to my kitty and treating her as if she were their own. I cannot recommend Cottage Lake Vet enough even after working for a different vet hospital!

Our dog has separation anxiety and is stressed when we leave, but she loves it here! On our most recent visit, she even ran straight inside and didn't look back - unheard of for her! It's nice to know she's well taken care of and having fun, and we really appreciate the daily photos too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for boarding that gives them peace of mind and also lets their dog have tons of space to play outside and have fun, too.

I did a sampling of the bourbons. And walked out with six bottles of three different types. Just got back to Texas and unpacked them. Alex, the manager was fantastic. He explained what I was getting and what I should probably experience and it was just as he said. Travis was our waiter. I asked him what he recommended. He said that the dish he recommended “made the angels weep”. And while I didn't weep, it was great. Great overall experience. Love going to Von's! Hope to visit each time we visit Seattle.
