1700 NE 44th St, RentonWe had reached out to Eastside Veterinary Associates hoping that they may have an adoptable kitten needing to be rescued at some point, as we were looking for a good pet for our young kids. In no time, I was driving to Renton to come and meet a young tabby cat that had been brought in. Dr. Beckham was there to help us through what was an absolutely seamless process after we’d fallen in love with this kitten, and that afternoon we were leaving with our newest family addition.
The entire staff from the adoptions reception to adoptions to Dr Beckham were truly lovely and unbelievably helpful. We will never go anywhere else.

The weekly commute from Marysville has been well worth it for the level of care we’ve received. The staff is consistently kind and makes a difficult treatment journey feel manageable for both of us. We have now officially passed the one-year mark of managing an aggressive cancer, which is a milestone I credit to this team’s expertise.
Dr. Sarbu stands out for being incredibly responsive and having a genuine passion for animals. Whether it is a quick question or a complex update, the communication is always prompt and clear. If you are looking for a team that prioritizes your pet's comfort and provides treatment with a human touch, this is the place to go.

4501 NE 4th St B, RentonWe cannot say enough good things about this veterinary clinic and their entire team. They took exceptional care of our sweet girl after she tore her ACL and needed TPLO/TTA surgery.
From the very beginning, we felt informed, supported, and genuinely cared for. Nurse Nina went above and beyond and surprised us with the sweetest custom bandage, which honestly meant more to us than she probably realized. The entire team came out to greet our girl, showered her with love, and made sure we left feeling confident about her recovery plan.
For anyone preparing for this surgery: they walked us through the healing process clearly and realistically—strict rest at first, gradual leash walks, pain management, and what signs to watch for during recovery. Knowing what was normal (swelling, slower movement early on, probably won’t eat or potty for the first 24 hours, gradual improvement week by week) helped ease so much anxiety. They were always available to answer questions and never made us feel silly for checking in.
On top of all that, their pricing was significantly more affordable—about half the cost of BluePearl and Bellevue Veterinary and they accept CareCredit.
If your dog needs orthopedic surgery and you’re scared, overwhelmed, or unsure where to go: this is the place. Compassionate, thorough, skilled, and truly invested in both pets and their people. We’re incredibly grateful and couldn’t be happier with our experience!!

900 S Grady Way, RentonI am updating my review a year later because I just have to share that I would give this place 100 stars if I could. Our pup got sick during our recent vacation and the staff at this location was so thoughtful and thorough. Each time she had a vomiting incident they immediately took her temperature, checked her gums and belly, and sent us a picture with detailed information about what happened and discussed their care plan with us. They adjusted her activities and diet to be sensitive to her needs and went above and beyond to care for our girl, without charging us an extra dime. The manager even stayed late to meet us when we flew home early to talk through what had happened and recommendations for continued care, and also requested info from our vet in the future so they can keep their records up to date. It was such an immense relief to know our girl was in their care while we were so far away. Do not hesitate to trust your beloved pet family members with the staff here, they are exceptional!
Previous Review: I cannot say enough good things about Rainier Dog Resort & Spa. We just picked our dog up from her evaluation appointment and have had an absolutely perfect experience. We’ve had a negative boarding experience in the past so wanted to do an eval with a new place before planning a trip and I am so grateful we found this place. The photos they share throughout the day put your mind at ease, their set up and schedule is thoughtful and focused on dog well-being and needs, and they think of every little detail. Our dog is basically our kiddo and I feel so much relief to have found such an amazing team of people who really love dogs and treated our pup with such care! It was so great we’re considering taking our pup in for daycare in addition to boarding because of their awesome group play and enrichment programs. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!

It is nice having someone you don’t ever have to worry about in your home. My pup gets regular walks, has stayed at her home while I’ve traveled, and she’s helped me out at times of crisis. In fact my pup had a seizure and I was SO glad it was while in Elizabeth’s care as she knew exactly what to do. FABULOUS person to boot!

826 S 3rd St, RentonI have commonly purchased Macadons, both macarons and their ice cream macarons, during street fairs and at Bobae. I was pleasantly surprised (and amused) to find their macarons with custom printing at the “REVIVE I-5” booth at the University Street Fair. I was amused enough to write a separate review for them. The quality of the artwork and print colors are fantastic and vibrant with the rainbow colors. Please see photo. If I was interested in custom macarons, I would most definitely order some from Macadons.
The flavor in this case is a simple vanilla, which has its charms, though I typically buy other flavors. The shell doesn’t have the characteristic slight crispy, which is understandable since these are not fresh from the store. The inside is a very creamy filling that squished out on the sides as I bite down. Everyone has their own texture preferences. I personally like it less creamy. I normally buy their ice cream macarons, but these are still very good. The individual boxes make them great for small gifts.

Meat was tender and moist. Salad was fresh and delightful. Rice was out of this world! Absolutely loved it! HUGE portions. They also use the compostable takeout boxes. We will definitely be back.

They have a fantastic selection of on tap drinks including non-alcoholic root beer.
Kids are welcome and there is a good group of local families that bring their kids, who are very welcoming.
This is the definition of a 3rd space. My friends and I play board games here and my son is always welcome and can often find other kids to play with.
They also have regular community events like a drag story hour and drag bingo once a month.
They don’t serve food, so we usually get pizza next door and bring snacks.
This place is absolutely fantastic!

410 Burnett Ave S, Renton8 of us went to dinner fo a family celebration. they were very busy but our waiter was awesome during the wait for our food. Kept filling our drinks and checking on us. All of our food was super good and we tried different dishes and enjoyed leftovers at home. We shared a couple of deserts and the brownie with ice cream was a hit. Our waiter was really friendly and attentive. Made the wait less concerning . Will defintely go back!

We had the Eva and the Antipasto salad with Italian dressing. Our amazing waitress even brought us a sample of the meat sauce they use for pastas. Delicious oh the crust, wow wow wow!!! Light crispy -so perfect. Ambiance-you feel like you showed up at a big Italian family dinner, everyone welcomes you and wishes you well as you leave. Only bad thing I can say is I am so bummed I did not know about Angelo's pizza prior to tonight. I have really been missing out.!

Sammamish Animal Sanctuary
16515 SE May Valley Rd, RentonThis Sanctuary is in my neighborhood but I didn't make the chance to go there until yesterday. It was a delightful experience. It's really fun to feed some of the animals (they sell food buckets there for $5/bucket; no outside food is allowed) & I appreciate how well the staff know the personalities of animals so their well-being comes first. This is not a petting zoo, but a Sanctuary for farm animals, and I really appreciate that. I will continue to support this beautiful refuge and I humbly request that you do so too, because they manage their operations by donations.
