17604 110th Ave SE, RentonMy cat, Mama, recently had a dental procedure with Spring Glen Vet, and everyone was so sweet and caring! They answered all my questions and even followed up the next morning to help explain any side effects and to check how Mama was doing. It’s obvious the people here really care about pets. My other cat, Sage, goes to them as well, and they are just as caring in a normal office visit as they are for surgeries. I’m so happy I found this clinic and their doctors!

1700 NE 44th St, RentonI have been coming here over 1 year. I've seen most of the vets and would recommend this place. The prices are higher than our last place but our experience is much better here. Anytime our pets have been sick, they have seen us same day majority of the time. One out of at least five sick visits, we saw them next business day. Our last vet would always recommend we go to ER because they never had appts or we would have to call at 7am to fight for an urgent visit appt which I could never get in. Everyone is friendly as well.

After deciding not to sit in a vet ER for 5-6 hours and possibly get treated at 2-3am, plus the wound had finally scabbed over and stopped bleeding, I made the decision last night to reduce stress (mine & my dog’s) and try to get care in the AM. Booster Pet needs to be more widely known as a place for Urgent Care. I am so glad I found them online, and extremely pleased with the care we received.

900 S Grady Way, RentonRainier Dog Resort After subjecting my sweet Sheba, to several bad groomings; we have finally found our place! I went to the opening of Rainier Dog Resort to check them out. It is such a beautiful facility, but more importantly, the staff are knowledgeable, genuine, friendly, and truly care about the animals they care for. I had to get a stool sample done for my dog, which I have never had to do before, but I am so grateful they require this. My dog had Giardia and I had no idea. I got her treated and she finally was able to see the groomer, Sarah. My sweet girl is a rescue, and has had many bad experiences with grooming. From the get-go, I was helped by one of the owners to get her inside where we were greeted by the friendly reception staff. Everything was so clean and smelled so good. They even had bowls with treats and little treat bags for the dogs. I left and Sheba went in to get groomed. 90 minutes later, I got a call letting me know that she was ready for pick up. She came out with a wagging tail and looked beautiful. Sarah did a wonderful job trying to correct what was done at her previous two groomings at Reber Ranch and Petco. They did an excellent job trimming up her pads and nails and did not leave her bleeding and in pain. Sarah also tidied up her nether regions. I am so glad I brought Sheba here. The owners Kelli and Sam are wonderful, knowledgeable and super friendly. They have opened up the ultimate Dog Resort and spa and the pricing is reasonable. I like the fact that they do their very best to keep the animals safe and not spreading disease by ensuring that the pets they take in are properly vaccinated and checked for parasites. I know this was a long review, but I just cannot say enough good things about Rainier Dog Resort and the Staff. I am so grateful to have found this place. We will be back :-)

1303 N 20th St, RentonPhenomenal pet service. I’ve used this service for several years now. It’s dependable, timely, caring, and the owner is an excellent communicator. It is nice having someone you don’t ever have to worry about in your home. My pup gets regular walks, has stayed at her home while I’ve traveled, and she’s helped me out at times of crisis. In fact my pup had a seizure and I was SO glad it was while in Elizabeth’s care as she knew exactly what to do. FABULOUS person to boot!

Buffy is everything to us and we know she is in caring hands when she is there. They vet all the pups before letting them join the pack. Big outdoor area with swimming pools for the pups. They are dog-friendly, so you will often see dogs hanging out and greeting other guests!
They have a great list of events they host - trivia night, dog fundraisers, silent book club, trashy movie Tuesdays, etc.
My husband and I will often go here for a chill date night and bring our own board games - this place is truly a gem in our local community!

5301 NE 4th St, RentonI absolutely love their decaf mocha, both hot and iced -- which is no small accomplishment because it's hard to get good decaf. And not only is the coffee delicious, the peoole are friendly. I only wish it wasn't a drive-thru, because if they had outdoor seating I would be able to sit and drink it there. I come here every Thanksgiving week when I visit from NYC.

229 Wells Ave S, RentonBest brewery I’ve been to in Renton. I got to talk with the owner/brewmaster Ross. I was very impressed at how much they’re able to produce within such a compact space.
He gave me a tour just cause I asked if he ever gave them. His concept of creating modern German beers with different regional flavors is amazing! And their recipes are spot on! If you’re looking for a legitimate Bier Gärten this is the closest you’re going to get to being in Germany yourself, so if you don’t feel like flying to Munich, definely stop by here for something truly special!

Sammamish Animal Sanctuary
16515 SE May Valley Rd, RentonThis Sanctuary is in my neighborhood but I didn't make the chance to go there until yesterday. It was a delightful experience. It's really fun to feed some of the animals (they sell food buckets there for $5/bucket; no outside food is allowed) & I appreciate how well the staff know the personalities of animals so their well-being comes first. This is not a petting zoo, but a Sanctuary for farm animals, and I really appreciate that. I will continue to support this beautiful refuge and I humbly request that you do so too, because they manage their operations by donations.
