Mud Bay
1201 N 175th St, ShorelineBoth my dog and my family LOVE Mud Bay! The staff are amazing and so helpful! Plus, you can return pretty much anything that doesn't work for your pet as long as it's not more than 50% gone. I tried a bone for my bully and he has a very sensitive stomach. It did not go over well at all and it took me a couple of weeks to bring it back, but it was no problem at all! Their products are great quality and fairly priced. My dog knows where we are when we pull in the parking lot and knows that he'll have 2 or 3 employees down on the floor loving on him. They're so knowledgeable too, so I really can't say enough great things about them!

Pet Grooming

DailyDOGS
151 NE 147th St, ShorelineI love DailyDogs service, especially Lorena. She is the best groomer that i have ever known. We have been her customers for more than 4 years. She took care of our dogs, Mason (17yo) Bichon and Molly (15yo) Bichon mix.Mason was so old that Lorena bought special hammock for him, because he couldn’t stand up anymore. She was so gentle with him, even though Mason had a bunch of skin tags. I know he loved Lorena. I remember his happy face every time i saw Mason after grooming.Mason passed away in May 2022. Lorena is now taking care of Molly, Mason’s sister. Lorena is the best, she has love that given to all dogs she takes care of. Bonnie and Lorena are a perfect team. It is so convenient to have Molly be groomed close to home.

Doggo Self Wash
1210 N 155th St, ShorelineBest self wash I’ve been to yet. Easy access via large ramp or stairs. Large like ‘at home’ tubs are elevated to waist level. The place is utilitarian clean and has self mixing wash/rinse controllers—no messy bottles. Great knowledgeable staff(owner/operator) and so helpful. Will work very happily w tough to deal w animals. And is a great resource for dog knowledge and behavioral modification training “on-the-spot” to help you do your self-wash… or for just a bit more he’ll wash your pup professionally with his full-service option. But you can’t drop junior off and leave you must be part of the activity, too. Anyway you go it’s a paws-itive experience for owner n pup alike. We look forward to returning for more Doggo cleanings.

Pet Care

Animal Surgical & Orthopedic Center
14810 15th Ave NE Suite A, ShorelineI took my 11 month old rescue dog for a consult with the orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Aguilar, for her osteochondrosis. My pup, who can be reactive towards some people, loved him. He took the time to explain everything clearly and calmly in a way that I understood. He presented options for care, and it was clear that his main interest was the health and well-being of my pet, rather than pushing any procedures. I felt completely confident in Dr. Aguilar and would return should my dog need surgery. The staff at the clinic were kind and thoughtful towards my pup and me. Would recommend 100%

Shoreline Central Animal Hospital
15915 Westminster Way N, ShorelineKind staff, caring vets, and clean facility. We had a horrific experience at the Veternary Emergency Group in Lynnwood; we left with little tangible advice to the tune of 8k! STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST VEG LYNNWOOD! SHORELINE CENTRAL VET reviewed the notes, ultrasound, xray for free...Our vet truly took the time to develop a treatment plan. It was clear they care and don't view our animal as a cash machine.

Animal Medical Center of Seattle
17518 15th Ave NE, ShorelineAfter almost four years of my beloved cat William Bell bravely fighting an aggressive lymphoma, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible team at AMCS. This journey took us through six clinics across four states in two different countries, always looking for a place where the team’s intentions felt genuine and compassionate. Too often, veterinary care can feel profit-driven, so finding a team that understands the care extends to both pet and owner is invaluable.
The AMCS team exceeded my expectations, with compassion and professionalism in every interaction. Special thanks to Dr. Katie Robinson, who initiated William’s treatment and guided us early on; Dr. Nick Szigetvari, an exceptional doctor whom I truly ADORE ? and took care of us; and Dr. Mary Davis, who went above and beyond to fit William into her schedule during his final days, offering me the reassurance I needed to make difficult choices thoughtfully. Her patient guidance helped me feel confident and not rushed in those critical moments. To everyone who played a role — whether in reception, the wonderful triage team, or any of the dedicated staff who worked closely with the doctors — your kindness and care provided incredible comfort during this challenging time. Each of you contributed in ways that were equally meaningful to me, and I cannot thank you enough.
The AMCS team went above and beyond with thoughtful gestures that meant a lot to me. After William’s passing, they honored him by sending a beautiful candle, and just days later, a handwritten letter arrived, which moved me to tears. They handled everything, including billing, with fairness and empathy - never pushing unnecessary expenses and always providing clear, balanced options at every step.
For any pet owner seeking a team that values both high-quality medical care and genuine human compassion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Animal Medical Center of Seattle. Thank you for being part of William’s journey. I will always be grateful and keep you in my heart!

Seattle Board and Train
2326 N 155th St, ShorelineChristine is helping our sweet 7mo old doodle get over social fear (of humans, dogs, and other scary things) and leash reactivity. Over the last month-ish with Christine’s careful guidance and tips we can carry out at home, we've been so happy to see our pup develop confidence that we never could have achieved in such a short time - if ever - on our own or with other trainers. We are not first time doodle owners so we thought raising this one would also be a cakewalk, but as with kids, each dog is unique with their own personality. This one confused us, she was so sweet and comfortable at home but she’d bark, run away, freeze, or tremble in fear at the littlest things outside - people walking down the street, strangers trying to give her a treat, dogs walking nearby, etc., and she’d try to aggressively jump on/play with some dogs when she got close to them. Walking was not enjoyable for any of us and forget about playing nicely with other dogs. She was also having difficulty with peeing in the house when she got stressed, excited, or scared. Prior to finding Christine, we tried puppy preschool, puppy playgroups, online training, training podcasts, 1:1 training with an online coach and nothing really helped us. One trainer said that we’d missed our socialization window and this was just the way she was going to be. That’s when I found Christine and she gave me hope. She has been so generous with her time, knowledge, and positivity, I can’t recommend her services enough. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but Christine has really helped us find what will work for our dog and our family, I’m excited to watch this puppy continue to learn and grow with her help!

Burke Ave N, ShorelineWe've been working with Brian for almost 10 years. He's been with us through some tough losses and to help bring new ones into the pack and neighborhood. He's reliable, communicative, and unbeatable with the dogs. He's always been happy to work with our special needs dogs or random scheduling requests. From every single one of our dog's perspectives he's clearly the best person on the planet. From our human perspectives, they aren't too far off.The picture attached is from a recent overnight stay the dogs had with Brian. Look at those faces, it's probably the highest form of recommendation we can make.

一品川湘 Xiaolongbao House (was Royal Dumplings House)
14725 Aurora Ave N, ShorelineI was visiting Seattle recently, and 6 of us tried this restaurant somewhat on a whim. Despite the name, and despite having decent xiao long bao on the menu, this restaurant seems to specialize more in Hunan and Sichuan food. There were some really excellent dishes, and this was one of the best Chinese meals I'd had in a long time. Highlights: * fried eggplant with preserved egg (served in a mortar/pestle bowl). Really good flavors, and this dish is not super common so we were excited to see it. * cauliflower pork dry pot -- thin smoked pork slices added nice flavor to the thin pieces of cauliflower * shredded pork in sweet bean sauce -- maybe a tad too sweet? But still quite good, served w/ plain white bao on the side. * salt and pepper fried tofu - the tofu inside was medium or soft, with a nice crispy shell. Excellent. * Changsha rice noodle -- slippery noodles in a spicy ma-la dressing, with various veggies and pickled long beans. Very good. * Salted egg crispy rice -- I'm not a huge fan of salted-egg flavor, so it wasn't my favorite, but others in my group really liked this. We also had xiao long bao which were decent though nothing super special. Also some sauteed Chinese lettuce w/ garlic, which was totally fine. Highly recommend this place -- not fancy, located in a strip mall, but some really great food.

Cafe Aroma
509 NE 165th St, ShorelineYou would imagine that this place has an aroma of Coffee.. or something, but you would be amiss, it's just the name, but what you do get, is good coffee. I'm meeting a friend here to catch up, to talk... and honestly, I had never thought about coming here for coffee, even if it was only 12 minutes from my place. Yes, the building was an old Service Station for you know, your car, so if anything the place has that on the outside, but the feels.. it's not that on the inside, per se. Where you get coffee and where you sit and chill, are two very different places. What used to be the service station office is where you get coffee, and where they used to service cars, is now where you sit comfortably, tables spaced apart nicely, and the decor is the place that makes you wonder why not.. in a good way. The coffee is Fidalgo, which is a good strong flavored coffee. They have a rotating mixed coffee drink of the month, and it's delicious. They don't bake their own goods, which honestly if you can't, then don't. What they service is packaged, but from reputable local businesses, so worth trying. Overall, you need a place to just work, to chill, or have a good coffee, this place meets and exceeds that.
