“I have been here a total of three times and I have seen Hector Reyes every time. He is dependable always here before I arrive, which I get the earliest appointments when available. Making sure customers have refreshments and they put on movies for those who wait until their car is finished. What I really love about this location is that most of the men have integrity and a genuine pleasure for what they do. They have been honest and most car mechanics make it very hard to trust. The guys at Brakes Plus on 75th ave Lower Buckeye have been trust worthy even if it’s not what I want to hear but instead of taking my money they will let me know what would be the smartest move for me.I went in yesterday to have my spark plugs changed and when I got their I was greeted like always with care and kindness. They took my car back immediately and ran some testing which I had about 12 codes that pop up. They took me back their to see and told me that getting my spark plugs done would be a waste of time and money because the issue was with transmission, the computer module was malfunctioning and several other things. They told me it would be pricy but for my car not worth it, my car was a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SE 1.8 had it for 8 years and ran great until I took it to a reputable dealership which was Volkswagen dealer in Phoenix off of Camelback and I believe they intentionally did something to my car because it was a great car until I went to see them and then everything started to fall apart and malfunction, they even called to ask me if my car was still running and if I needed any services I told them how I felt but no reply like our dealership wouldn’t do that, the guy Shawn Church at Volkswagen just sounded desperate to get other bodies in there. So back to Brakes Plus, I wanted to be stubborn but the mechanic Ky really push the importance of how I would be making a horrible mistake so I decided to trust him. I saw that he loves what he does, he was confident and told me if I could to just purchase another car and recommend a Toyota saying they were made to last and they are great cars. So that’s what I did went to Larry Toyota and got me a 2024 with no down payment. God is good and I’m just great full because everybody that I spoke to on that specific day had my best interest and they were angels in disguise. Thank you Brake plus for all that you do and being trustworthy in a world full of crooks. This hard to come by so don’t stop. You may not get the recognition you all deserve but I know the Lord will bless you and your families. Keep up the hard work.”

“Martin’s Auto goes above and beyond for the customer. I requested a diagnostic of a parasitic draw on my battery. Pat asked me about the battery, and I mentioned the battery had been recently warrantied, but died. So, on top of finding what drew the power they warrantied my battery again!! Any other mechanic would have tried and charged me again for a new battery. But not Martin’s Auto, they went the extra mile to make sure I left satisfied. I started going because I live close, but even if I move miles away, I will come back.”

“I had my car serviced yesterday, and it was the best experience I've had yet with receiving such services! I was nervous about how much it was going to cost me as I definitely should've taken my car in sooner, and knew there was going to be several things that needed to be done.As a woman, when I've gone to the dealership in the past, I felt like I had been taken advantage of and talked down to, or completely ignored if I had a man to accompany me. At Honest-1 Auto, I didn't feel like I was treated differently and there was no judgement on how long it had been since my last servicing appointment. I received great communication and advice on my car, while also shocked at the price differences of Honest-1 compared to the same services I've had at the dealership in the past, with no big surprises or unnecessary work that needed to be done. They initially told me that I would need my transmission fluid replaced which I agree to, but they called back and said that it appeared better than what they initially had thought, so they topped it off instead. I really feel like I had honest service completed and they didn't try to get me for anything they could. Joel was who I was in contact with the whole time and was great and non judgemental, while Ben was my technician. I'm definitely going to take my car back in for my next oil change and any other work I need done in the future without hesitation, their prices are great! Honest-1 Auto lives up to their name and I'm recommending them to anyone I can!”

“2010 GTI Plugs and injector replaced. Car works great. They left plastic engine cover off. Called shop to advise and said found 2 others but not mine. Surprised they didn’t offer to replace it so guess we have to buy one. Update: Shop called back next day to say they would source and replace the plastic engine cover.”

Their notification system is superb at keeping you informed about what's going on with your car while it's being serviced. They seemed to be very knowledgeable and showed pictures of each issue for transparency. Would rate them 5 stars but their labor rates are significantly higher. “Not the same place. It’s not Mitch’s anymore and was not told that on the phone. Just came in for an oil change it took longer than necessary so they can do an “inspection”. The report is digital so that was nice and it includes pictures so it doesn’t feel like they are making stuff up. That’s why the 4 stars. But it was more like a jiffy lube experience. I really feel like there should be an opt out option. I don’t ask my doctor to give me a full check up (head to hole) when I go in for a cough.”

I trust them totally with my car. If they tell me, I need some thing I need it if they tell me I don’t need something then I don’t need it. “The only place I go to for my car service needs, been coming here almost 3 years now for my oil changes and what not. I've always had a pleasant experience here, the gentlemen working here do their best to get you in and out while doing quality work. They never try to up sale anything and only do what you ask! It is on first come first serve basis from what I've experienced but I never wait too long when they do have a few cars to work on. Waiting room is nice and clean as well.”

“I didn’t come to the shop with my car… I came for help bc my car ran out of gas about 1/2 a mile down the road. The nearby gas station didn’t have a gas can so I walked over to Precision to see if they could help me in any way. They most certainly did. I can’t recall the name of the gentleman who helped me but he got a gas can, we got gas and rode down to my car, filled up and all was better! So nice of this shop to help me. “Greulich’s took care of my mom’s car for years and now they take care of me. One time she took her car in for an oil change. She didn’t drive much. He went to change it and realized it didn’t need it yet. Checked her fluids and tires. Called her up and told her it didn’t need an oil change yet and he didn’t charge her. She must have told me that story 20 times so now I’m telling it to you”

“I was in the Phoenix area for a medical appointment and noticed a weird noise coming from the engine compartment once we arrived.I called a mechanic that was close to the hotel where we were staying, but they couldn't get us in until the next day. I found Grease Monkey in a Google search and called. They said if I brought the vehicle in, they could take a look. I had the vehicle in their shop within 15 minutes.The mechanic diagnosed the sound as a loose fan shroud and also noticed that my serpentine belt was weathered and cracking and suggested that I replace it. At 150,000 miles, my vehicle was due for a belt replacement anyway.They resecured the fan shroud for free and replaced the belt for under $100 (parts and labor). I was in and out in under 45 minutes and could not have been happier with the service.The 10-hr drive home was a little more peaceful knowing that I had a new serpentine belt under the hood.”

I contacted Deans and brought my car in. They were able to find the issue within a few hours and were able to fix it same day. “This is probably the first time I have used Jiffy lube for one of my vehicles and im happy about it.I went for an oil change and they let me know about some other concerns like my air filter being filthy and pointed out it was time for me to rotate my tires, which it was. Now I don't have to go back to an auto shop for a couple months thanks to them.I really only went to jiffy lube becuase my usuall auto place was super busy so it was nice to be able to pull up to jiffy, get served and be on my way in under an hour. It was great especially since I didn't have an appointment, I just showed up and they were ready. I think they got everything done in 30 mins.If your usual auto place is packed, I would definitely go to Jiffy lube so I can keep the rest of my day open for other necessities.”
