1 Bates Blvd #200, OrindaWe took our dog here for a concerning growth after becoming disillusioned with our prior vet in Oakland. Apparently many vet practices in the area have been taken over by VCA. Once that happens, the prices go up and the service declines. Unlike our prior vet clinic, Theater View offers highly personalized and caring service. They are super/ responsive to our questions and concerns. Dr Langford took excellent care of our dog, communicated with us along the way, and involved us appropriately in decision-making. I can't say enough accolades of this wonderfully homey yet highly professional veterinary practice.

23 Orinda Way # M, OrindaDr G. Did an amazing job on our dogs teeth! The before/after pictures I posted speak for themselves! We have had wonderful experiences each time we have taken our pets to Orinda Vet. We have one dog and two cats. Cats can be difficult to handle, but Dr. G was truly a professional. I've been to many other clinics that scruff my cats without giving them a chance to behave. I've never seen my cats so relaxed and trusting as they were with him. Thanks Dr. Gerry!

43 Hazel Tree Ridge, OrindaWe have only wonderful things to say about In Their Element Dog Walks! Glenn and everyone on his team are professional, caring, and all around great. They go above and beyond to ensure that our pup gets high quality hikes around the various regional parks in the Oakland area, and have helped him develop essential social skills and recall while off leash. Pickup and drop-off at the house is smooth and seamless and the communication is always relevant and timely. Highly recommended!

26 Orinda Way, OrindaThis cafe is tucked right next to the Orinda library. They have a nice patio area with lots of seating. I love their iced tea and my daughter likes their avocado toast and mango smoothies. I recently placed an online order to pick up and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Overall, I like this cafe and it is a nice change from the chain coffee houses nearby.

15 Moraga Way, OrindaGreat spot right off the freeway in Orinda. Quaint and small restaurant. The food is good, service is friendly. Classic pizza/italian American style restaurant. Will definitely come back again! I will mention though, I went with my mom who uses a wheelchair and it was difficult to get her chair inside because the entrance wasn't originally designed for accessibility. I hope they can figure out a safer way for wheelchair users to enter their establishment.

Always plenty to choose: hot, sliced meats w/veg sides, open face and traditional hot sandwiches, soups & salads, and sliced desserts. Takeout is easy and plenty of tables for eat-in. My senior mom enjoys her trips to Europa and my 20-something niece surprised me saying she pops in there on her way home to Hayward after she visits me. Multigenerational favorite! Parking: plenty of space in the BevMo back lot but requires taking steps up to restaurant. Front entrance is ADA accessible/street level with angled parking at curb, can be limited.
