Dog Wash America
187 W Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra MadreI can’t say enough great things about Brandon at Dog Wash America. We’ve trusted him with both our dog and our cat for over 15 years, and the care has always been exceptional. He’s kind, accommodating, and genuinely loves animals — and it shows. What means the most to us is that our pets recognize him and are completely relaxed around him. That level of trust speaks volumes about the consistency and compassion he brings to his work.
If you’re looking for dependable pet care, dog grooming, or a trusted animal professional in Sierra Madre or the greater San Gabriel Valley area, Brandon is the one to see. He treats every pet like family, and every visit feels personal. After 15 years, we wouldn’t go anywhere else — and we’ll gladly continue recommending him to anyone who wants the best for their pets.

Coffee.jpg
142 W Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra MadreThe coffee here is amazing. The barista is friendly. And the ambiance is quiet and intimate. When you walk in, it’s very open and welcoming. The barista was very knowledgeable on any of my questions and we traded recommendations on some local Portland roasters. I got a spro and cortado, while my wife got a Sierra tonic which actually made me like espresso tonics. Hands down this is the best oat cortado I’ve ever had. The milk was steamed with perfect microfoam, and it really accented the bean’s natural sweetness. I didn’t catch his name, but we were there at noon on a Saturday after thanksgiving. Anyway, stay frosty Sierra Madre, Peace.

Wistaria Restaurant and Bar
44 N Baldwin Ave, Sierra MadreWe discovered this little restaurant as we were walking in downtown Sierra Madre for a concert event. Walking in you immediately notice the clean, modern surroundings with a local vibe. Our attentive host sat us at the bar for drinks as we killed time before the concert. The bartender, or I should say, Mixologist, because he made amazing drinks, took our order for an Old Fashioned and a Cranberry gimlet, which my wife loved! Drinks were so good we ordered a Bourbon Sidecar and a Cucumber gimlet. Another win! We will most definitely be coming back to explore the dinner menu!

The Only Place In Town
110 W Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra MadreHello This is a good news/bad news review. We frequent Only Place quite often. We probably average about 3 times a month. But it's not unusual to go a couple times in a week. Your food and serving staff are excellent. Among our favorites are Whitney, Bronwyn, Hanna, Jose to name a few. Whitney is especially great! Now the bad news. We were in last Friday and were shocked with the unexpected bright lighting. It was uncomfortably bright. Nobody needs that much light!! And considering the average age of your customers it's even more important to keep the lighting flattering. We had to move from our booth because it was so disconcerting. Please please please change the bulbs in the overhead lights. If you have to squint to see the bulb it's TOO bright. We loved the family atmosphere of Only Place. The new lighting level ruins the atmosphere. We're begging you please return to the previous pleasing level. Thank you
