“I recently stayed here, while centrally located, fell short in several areas. The staff were friendly but the room quality is what you pay for, with outdated furniture and worn bedding. Cleanliness was passable but not meticulous. The hotel offered minimal amenities, and there was no complimentary breakfast. Additionally. This hotel could be an option for those prioritizing cost over comfort, but it needs some reinnovations , and it would be great.”

“Linda is the best hostess. She made us all feel at home and shared the interesting history of the home. She knows all about Baltimore and was an excellent source of what to do in the area. Breakfast was delicious each morning. She always had homemade cookies, tea bags and hot water and a pitcher of ice water for us. There is also a keurig and k-cups, ice maker and mini frig for the guests. The home has all the charm of its era plus all the modern conveniences. I will definitely stay again if ever back in the area.”

“We really enjoyed their complimentary valet parking, particularly appreciating the staff members’ professionalism and politeness.Receptionists were also very kind and friendly. The room was definitely nice - nicer than 3-star hotels in America I usually stay in for family vacations, but underwhelming comparing to 4-star hotels I get to stay in for business trips in Europe.Rooms: I loved the decor of the room, which felt modern and cosmopolitan, with a bonus of having an access to the courtyard (not directly). The size of the room and balcony was underwhelming. I really did not like the lack of blackout curtains as the light from the opposite rooms on the second level was on all night - it was fairly bright and I could not sleep well.”

“Located close to the Harbour where it all happens. Walking distance to Oriole Park(saw Bruce Springsteen there). Comfortable bed, big room with kitchen and a sofa. Great breakfast. Super friendly staff.”

“Loved the room but the front desk service wins the day for us. So kind and helpful. Smiles that I will remember forever. A credit to the management for setting up the workers to be successful. I will definitely go again.

Walkability: In the middle of little Italy. Walking distance to many fine dining establishments like La Scala.”

“We had a great time here. Service was very good, front desk staff were nice and welcoming. We used city parking garage opposite to the hotel and worked out perfectly well. Most of the attractions, and restaurants are in the walking distance from the hotel.”

“My Mom and I went to the hotels restaurant for dinner and on our way out I wanted to check out the hotel. We were greeted by the head of security Chris, who was absolutely delightful. He ended up taking us on a tour of the hotel which is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! I studied Interior Design at UM and the attention to detail that was put into the refurbishment, while integrating original materials/architecture with modern pieces was EXQUISITE! We ran into some of the other staff on property who were kind and welcoming and I will absolutely be spending my next staycation at this hotel... Side-note the restaurant was FANTASTIC as well!”

“The rooms here are spacious and clean. I didn't care for the shower head, but that's just me. The check in/out staff were attentive and helpful. The food at the restaurant is nothing to write home about, but the staff there were great! The ladies tending the bar were busy, but still fun. It's about a ten minute walk to the harbor. Check them out!”

“Update. The guests responsible for the disturbance continue to be nuances well past 2:00 a.m.After they were asked to leave they refused and the police were called to have them removed. The staff remain calm and respectful of all the parties involved. Changing my review to four stars. The reason why it's not five is because you should have a working desk phone inside your room for your safety.Original.Started off great but the staff was slow in removing another hotel guest that was throwing a party. Over 3 hours, 5 calls and the room phone wasn't working. At least the front desk tried to help but staffing at night is low and makes safety concerning at this location. A horrible experience.”

“This Hotel is in prime location to inner harbor and ballpark. However, getting around driving can be tedious. My sons recommended taking Uber which we did and it's better. The inner harbor is beautiful! We had a great time seeing the Phillies game down there.

Rooms: Rooms weren't bad at all. Just a tad dated. Electrical socket to plug coffee machine wasn't working. The bed was good. The pillows were awesome! We had nice partial views of the city.

Nearby activities: You have the Inner Harbor and the park close by! The Baltimore Aquarium is a close drive and has parking there.

Walkability: You can walk around during the day but would use caution during evening hours. Very pretty to see the city at night.”

“Compared many hotels near Inner Harbor but went with this one about 20 minutes away. Partly because I wanted to attend Grace Fellowship Timonium which is about 100 yards away. (Highly recommend).Pros:Clean, inviting outsideConvenient access to highwayShops and restaurants nearbyChilis connected to hotelNice areaPlenty of free parkingCons:Traffic noiseSounds echo from hallwayBathroom tub area dirtyBathroom vent full of dust lint2 inch gap at bottom of entry doorOverall, a very good value. I waited a bit late to reserve and the price dropped $20 a night. Was about $300 cheaper than Inner Harbor plus free parking. This savings covered our rental car. Driving back and forth to the city and Inner Harbor was pretty easy. Save the $5 per person for breakfast and go to Chick Fil a or a bagel place less than a mile away. Pink ceiling made the room feel retro.Rooms: Pink ceiling, queen sized bed. Older style bathtub.Nearby activities: Horse track one mile away. Cinemark movie theater 6 miles away. 20 minutes to city.Safety: Area is clean with mainly M-F businesses so there was bury little foot traffic. Seemed to be no hidden areas.Food & drinks: Plenty of restaurants within 1-2 miles.”

“I had a very positive experience! The front desk staff were friendly & welcoming in our remainder. The lobby and hallways were very clean. The rooms were clean and large. The amenities of a resort were implemented in the room. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of dishes and the hot dishes were different every day. The breakfast area was very clean and someone was onsite to replenish the foods and morning drinks. I definitely will stay at this hotel again!”

“The traffic getting in to this place was horrendous, but certainly understandable, given this port is the launching point for many cruises. The crew was fantastic though, directing everyone to the correct places they needed to be for parking, where to enter for boarding. Very orderly.”

“I saw on a couple of the most recent reviews that some are irritated with the hotel open to the general public on their website but later finding out that it's not open to the general public. But I do want to say from my own personal experience that this place is a true God send. It is now used as a women's shelter that goes above and beyond to help you get everything you need help with getting and I mean everything you need to get it for you. I now have a full time job and ready to get promoted to a supervisor. I I was recently approved for rapid re-housing voucher and I go look at 2 two bedroom apartments on Tuesday. Great things are happening for me and I'm starting to enjoy my life, starting to feel like I'm in abetter mood more often, and I'm honestly just sooooooo freaking excited!!!!! They also don't refuse women who have severe mental health issues and they do everything they can to help those women just as much as they help people without mental health is. They treat everyone as an individual and don't look down on any of us or treat ones that need more help than others and treat everyone equal.”

“I am so sad that this is closing down because the rooms were huge and this was such a great location to have friends gather to go to power plant. It was walking distance”

“It's been a tiny bit of time since I was there and I didn't retain much information but I remember the staff being very nice. The rooms were good and it was located in a nice area. I don't remember much else unfortunately. I did not have the breakfast there.”

“A change from the typical hotel decor, with its Gatsby Era theme. It is located in downtown Baltimore, 4 blocks from the convention center and 2 more for inner Harbor. We checked in later in the evening but was able to get settled in quickly, front desk was quick and helpful. There is valet at the front door, but no valet area. I had to put my hazards on along the road to unload and pass the key to the valet, not quite safe. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I like how the bathrooms actually had tiles instead of the typical bath-fitter plastic some chains have to save money. The room had a fridge, but no microwave.”

“I stayed here for only one night and it was great for the price I paid. I didn’t expect a luxury hotel, but the room was a little better than what I expected. The area I got was quiet, and everything was clean and working except one light and the headboard. The headboard fell off the wall. Other than that, it was good I’d probably stay again if I needed to.”

“What can I say, a truly unique historic inn. excellent location, I recommend parking behind it if you are by car. Room not exactly clean in terms of linen, check carefully first. For the rest, friendly and smiling staff. The breakfast (5th floor) included is very simple, but it's there. Noteworthy is the terrace on the 5th floor, you exit from the breakfast room, very beautiful view.”
