“Came in clutch when my car died on I-90 in the middle of the night, 200 miles from home.Clerk at the front desk heard my woes and let me grab a snack from the pantry free of charge. He was a super friendly guy, was nice chatting with him as he checked me in! My only complaint was that I couldn’t get a check-out extension past 1130am even after explaining my car situation to the new person at the desk in the morning. Ended up just wandering around nearby until my car was fixed (not much going on in the area). Had the chance to really make my day and the hotel seemed almost entirely empty so it was a little annoying but not the end of the world.Breakfast was on par with free chain hotel breakfast, not bad, not great. I like a cold room and the AC in there was putting in the work. Room was clean and stocked!”

“The pool was closed, and there was a decent size parking lot. Friendly staff. Breakfast was scramble eggs and sausage links, self-serve pancake maker. Bagels, coffee, cereal, milk, juice, and some fruit. AC worked very well! Clean overall. Bed a bit on the soft side. 15 minutes away from six flags. 5 to 10 minutes from restaurants, aldi, movie theater, and costco.”

“Had a great experience here this past weekend. Big rooms with 1-2 bedrooms is great when traveling with kids. pool was small but great, kids loved it. West Springfield isn’t the most desirable location but we felt safe at the hotel. Negatives were our maid stunk of cigarettes so the halls and room also stunk of cigs. Pool water was chilly for an indoor pool but not terrible. Eggs at breakfast tasted like soap. Everything else was truly great!Walkability: On The Border restaurant, five guys, and hooters all right next door”

“This is the first time I have stayed at this hotel. I was surprised at how nice the hotel was and how friendly the staff were. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Parking is so convenient, and I can see my vehicle from the window. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.”

“Today, November 16, 2023, I'm re-writing my review of four years ago. We've visited a friend in the area for many years and always stay here. The rooms are very clean; it's great to have a kitchenette, and the indoor heated pool is a wonderful spot to relax. The staff at the front desk are friendly and personable....a special shout-out (Yay!) to Manager Susan. Both Mary and Sundip were very welcoming this past week. And a big 'thank you' to all others who work so hard 'behind the scenes' to provide a comfortable experience! Highly recommended, EXCEPT: TERRIBLE MATTRESSES! The new pillow-top mattresses are ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! It's like sleeping in a hammock. The only way to get into bed is to crawl in on hands and knees. Worse, try to turn over and you have to pull yourself up out of the abyss; it feels like you've fallen into marshmallows. Getting out of bed means crab-crawling on your back. The most used side of the bed is the worst as it is the most concave. The original mattresses were very comfortable. Pillow-tops are the WORST DECISION EVER BY CORPORATE MANAGEMENT!”

“The evening staff were so friendly and helpful. We stopped for a night on a business trip, very exhausted and tired. I needed to wash some clothes, and I was a bit delusional trying do math after 72 hours of driving across 15 states. The girls at the front desk were so patient and kind, though. We would definitely stay again!”

“I had the pleasure of staying here. Jasmine helped me book a room and she was very professional. She deserves a promotion. She was patient with me even with kids roaming around while she helped me book a room. Very courteous and I understand as a parent, these kids can sometimes get out of hand, but she helped me keep an eye on the kids by letting me know they were in the dining room while we were booking the hotel.

Parents, please keep a close eye on your kids if you’re staying here and be courteous to the workers and other visitors. Together, we can make it an enjoyable stay and less work on the staff by playing our part.

I highly recommend this hotel for families. I enjoyed the stay and look forward to staying there again. Thank you to all the staff. It was a pleasure speaking with you guys and I wish you all well.”

“Rooms smelt weird, cigarette burns in carpet, chair, and bed. Bathroom door did not close all the way, or lock. Pretty dirty, a lot of sunflower seeds behind the tv stand.”

“I don't know if I've ever stayed in a worse hotel. We had high hopes checking in. We got to our room and the first thing we noticed were the questionable stains on the floor and chairs in the room. The remote for the T.V. did not work. The heat/ac vent looked like someone took a hammer to it. The shower had no water pressure. The continental breakfast was pitiful at best. No hot food or coffee when we went down at 7:20 to get something to eat. The concierge was RUDE. She didn't say anything to me at check out and acted like I was an inconvenience to her when room service had to go find here after I was waiting 10 minutes to check out so I could get to a funeral. Housekeeping was the most helpful person there! She helped my boyfriend carry down all our items and held the doors for him. She went and found the front desk person after I rang the bell 3 times and the concierge ignored me. Do not stay here. Quality is not one of this places strong suites.”
