“Kathleen is an exceptional person who is providing incredible services to this community with purpose and intention. When you meet someone and can clearly tell they are committed and unfaltering you know you’ve found an ace in the field. Kathleen is that for dog grooming and boarding care for th Gates community (and I’m sure Rochester). I brought a dog I am caring for in a last minute effort to get him cleaned because his parents couldn’t get it done before they left him with me for 3 weeks. I had never met her or used her services before. I got on her books in less than 48 hours and she managed to swiftly and professionally clean and groom this 120 lb puppy with no awareness atall that life is not just one endless game of whatever your whimsy!
I’ve attached below a before and after.
Dont think twice: book with Kathleen at the hotel!”

“stayed here for my daughter’s wedding, and everything was perfect! The venue and staff were absolutely wonderful—so nice, clean, and welcoming. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. A special thank-you to Carla, one of the housekeepers, who was so attentive and friendly throughout our stay. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel for any special occasion or getaway!”
“I was out here for a business trip for a few days. I will admit this is the fourth one of these home 2 you I have stayed in. Russell's biscuits were amazing and can tell he cares about how each customer morning starts. I have to give a shout out to the two hard workers behind the counter as between getting bags ready, folding towels, and working on breakfast they were always working on something. The hotel was super clean and the room was spacious. Give them a shot as you won't be disappointed”
“Made the best of a bad situation at this Best Western location in Rochester. My mother booked the room on my behalf after I suddenly fled an abusive job, and the staff were incredibly kind and looked after me as a solo female traveler.
Rooms are equipped with deadlocks on the inside, beds were clean and bug-free, and the bathrooms were stocked with ample amounts of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.
I spent two nights here while I recovered from overwork & prepared to fly home, and I was well taken care of. Shuttle came in the morning and transported me safely to the airport. Great value and good people behind the counter. A huge thanks to everyone who helped me on my way back to Texas.”
“Stayed this weekend for a wedding. Room was clean, staff very friendly. This is probably one of the best experiences I have had in Rochester. The restaurant staff was fantastic, Brittany was very friendly and everyone did a great job. I am looking forward to staying here again for future trips!”

“Breakfast was ok but not the best. Eggs were cooked well. Pancake maker was ok but not great. Oatmeal was not good and cinnamon rolls were dry. Shower was hot Room was clean. Pillows were too soft and flimsy.”
“Had a malfunctioning air conditioner that made the room very hot when we were out at dinner, but when asked they were very prompt and professional with fixing it and getting the room to a desirable temperature”

“People here were solid. The rooms could use some investment. First room we walked into had a bathroom floor covered in water. Someone didn’t shut the shower off and it was dripping long enough to cause that. Front desk was great and got us a new room right away.
Second room was good, but the shower nozzle was a major inconvenience.
Rooms were very clean. Reminder that DT doesn’t do complimentary breakfast. People said the breakfast place was good inside though.
Again, just needs some investment in the parking lot and rooms.”

“The hotel service and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a suite with a couch , the frig worked great ( keep everything very cold) the microwave was small but adequate. The hot water was plentiful. The bed was firm but comfortable enough. The rug was old and worn. The TV had plenty of channels. The only problem was the Toliet! It was elongated but had a small round seat !! Ridiculous it should have been replaced long ago ( see photo ) the top of the tank didn't sit correctly as the internal works were higher than the tank walls.
The parking was fine and there are electric charging stations there as well. The surrounding area has plenty of stores and restaurants for anyone's needs. The daily breakfast was good... juices , coffee /tea , some fruit , cereals, waffle maker and the hot foods served were sausage links or patties ( no bacon during my 9 day stay ) but scrambled eggs or omelets or flat round cooked ( like on a Mc muffin ) there was also small potatoes usually. Overall very satisfying. Decent gym and facilities.”

“I was here for 5 nights for a conference and it was a great spot to be able to walk to restaurants and spend free time seeing some of the sights. The garage is partially connected to the hotel and easy to get in and out from. The city is easily drivable, and I wish I'd had more time to explore.”
“Clean, inexpensive and convenient to businesses and the ROC airport.
On-site amenities such as fitness center, breakfast and the bar restaurant make this my go to when in the ROC.”
