“Went in for a jacket that was indicated to be sold out on line. On the web, I couldn’t figure out how to click through to a back order purchase. So, I was in the neighborhood and stopped by to see if they had some in stock or had some other way to snag this great sale deal. Josiah immediately helped me, forsaking his lunch break, and with wizard-like computer fingers in seconds told me he could get one delivered to the store for free. Then, he walked me around to other really good sale items. Found a great deal on a shirt and got that too. In and out in less than 5 min. The store manager is a great host - greeting guests like we’re old friends, etc. While I have certainly shopped here before, I will most certainly be back. “I can't recommend Foot Locker enough. Let me first say I initially stopped at JD Sports, the store was crawling with people, and the floor staff didn't know much except the price of product. I let them know my budget, and I tried on a pair of Nike Air Max and felt like I was walking on an egg carton. Zero intention of purchasing or increasing my budget. I politely told the guy I'd look around and let him know. That's when I went to Foot Locker. The store was empty, minus Datorrien. He took the time to understand my shoe needs, wants, and budget. The first pair he recommended, they didn't have in my size so I tried a half size small - but he also brought a secondary pair in my size of a newer model. The moment I put that shoe on I knew this man understood the assignment. I didn't hesitate to spend an extra $60 over my initial budget due to his professionalism, knowledge, honesty, and attention. I ended up walking out with the perfect pair of shoes that fit my needs with zero remorse. I couldn't be happier with the experience - especially in contrast to JD Sport. Foot Locker will be my shoe ride or die moving forward. Loving the 2010V1's! Also someone needs to give Datorrien M. a RAISE.”

Last month, Foot Locker Inc. reopened its flagship store at 112 W 34th St. in New York City, as part of new retail plans. The store introduced "Home Court," a basketball-focused shopping area created with Nike and Jordan Brand. The updated store offers a basketball-themed shopping experience. It combines customer service with the newest products for use on and off the court from several brands.
