“This was our favorite room so far on a month-long trip. Very comfortable, clean room. The AC is quiet and walls are thick which made for a peaceful night's sleep. Friendly and accommodating staff. We checked out but they held onto our luggage until we were ready to leave so we could get brunch. 10 minute walk from Beale Street or you can take the trolley. Directly across the street from the National Civil Rights Museum. Valet is $32/night and they took good care of us. The app for valet wasn't reliable but we had no issue going down and getting our car.”

“One of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in. The rooms had exquisite bedding, tv in the bathroom and souvenir bottled water and duck shaped soap in the room. The shops downstairs offered cute clothes and wonderful jewelry. There is a Texas de Brazil restaurant located steps out the front lobby doors. An easy dinner choice for a tired traveler. Don't miss the lobby bar for great cocktails and lively conversation before and after the duck promenades.”

“My husband and I was in Memphis attending a conference and we stayed at the SpringHill Suites. Due to the cobference, we ended up with a king studio, which was way too small for 2 people. We were able to switch to the Kress Building right next door, which was larger. The people where very nice and accommodating.”

“This Hilton has very friendly staff and clean rooms. They also had nice bar area and well equipped gym. Bishop, their restaurant was excellent. No need to step outside when you can get good food within the hotel. It was very quiet inside but they always had good music playing throughout the lobby and bar area. Highly Recommend!”

“Absolutely incredible hotel! From the environment, the service, and the little touches like a welcome bag and handwritten note, Hotel Napoleon is a the perfect choice for a stay in Memphis. Rocky and the whole crew are lovely!”

“Came to this hotel with my wife to stay two nights, we had room 404.
The stay was perfect, the room clean and spacious, and the welcome, breakfast and services perfect!
At the start of the stay the receptionist apologized as they were fixing the hot water. I liked this transparent side and honestly the intervention was quick and we had no problems with it.
In conclusion, the stay was worth the price of the room for the nut.

The advantages of the hotel:
- Receptionist welcome and availability.
- Free parking and secure location.
- Different breakfast every morning and with choice.
- Cucumber/lemon water as desired.

The hotel's disadvantages:
- 30 minutes by car from the center of Memphis
- The room without too much light.
- Why would a bathtub in a room for the disabled have been more practical?

Safety: Location away from the city center (the least) but very protected (the plus)”

“We stayed at this hotel as a family, we were a group of 13 and we had a great time. I must highlight the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds made in an impeccable way, the pillows were very very comfortable, the kitchen was a super good extra, it had everything we needed for a light stay, even so we were able to prepare food for everyone. We really liked that the bathroom and the additional sink have dispensers with Dove products, and extra, small bar soaps, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner in dispensers so you can use as much as you need, and also makeup remover wipes. It is not like other hotels that put the shampoo and soap in small containers. No..... this hotel has been more generous. The breakfast was good, the fruits were fresh, there was milk of various types, yogurt, cereals, eggs, sausages, and everything that is generally found in hotels. A nice hotel, it smells clean, there is no smell of humidity, the interior decoration could be more modern, that would enhance the spaces... green plants and flowers are always a YES. In our room there was a table to eat and another for work, an excellent sofa bed and sheets, blankets and pillows were ready. We appreciate the hospitality. Without a doubt, we will return.”

“This location is my usual spot when traveling to Memphis for business. Attentive, friendly staff. Clean rooms. Decent breakfast. The wifi could be a bit better but given the alternatives I'll choose this Holiday Inn every time.”

“I had a good experience here! Stayed in Room 319. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming, the sweet lady at the breakfast station made sure there was enough food for the guests and was very nice too! The room was spacious, very clean, and the beds were very comfortable! I didn’t care much for the layout of the hotel and my room was not as close to the side of the hotel where the lobby is. This was probably an oversight, but my room was missing a shower curtain. I didn’t even notice this until I got up to shower at 3 this morning.
One more thing, you have to get a ticket when you arrive in the lot. You’ll need it to get out of the property.”

“Friendly staff and decently updated. USB-C and USB sockets in room. Bathrooms are a bit outdated and could use update. Comfortable beds. Good hot breakfast but do have to pay $14 if it isn't included in your room. Stayed here many weeks for work! Location can be a little annoying with the busy street exit but there is a sidewalk to walk to the plazas but not ideal. Convenient right off highway though. large gym”

“A really solid hotel in South Germantown. Very safe and nice location which is great to see, parking is well maintained and securely guarded so it should be safe for your vehicle. We stayed 3 nights and thought the room was excellent.

Safety: Area seemed nice, safe and lots of police. Parking was very well guarded and secured.

Food and drinks: No breakfast included which was a shame. Also no water fountain for guests to use.”

“Ok. So notice how old some of these reviews are before you believe them. We JUST stayed here in march 2025 and it was absolutely incredible. Clearly tons of work and attention has gone into big improvements!! Rooms are so nice and clean, well decorated even if a little small, the lobby is amazing! There is a pool, jacuzzi, bar, continental and hot breakfast (for a fee) and a restaurant. We got a pizza a fries. The pizza was SO good!!! We will only stay here when in Memphis or anywhere near it!! The best part about our stay was the staff. I was treated like an old friend the moment I got here by everyone! It made me feel very welcome and appreciated. The luggage carts are nice. The three elevator is super fast and responsive! Try this place out. The prices are incredible for the value you’ll get here! Snack, drinks, water, fancy seats, digital keys. This place has it all. My only critiques are no coffee in room (but it’s free downstairs) the shower curtain doesn’t stay in place covering the whole shower ( may have just been our room) and we had a fridge but no microwave.

These things really didn’t matter. We had a cozy bed, hot water with amazing water pressure, nice heat and air, comfy couch, big mirror for getting ready, clean hallways, didn’t hear anyone else in their rooms at all, and clean hallways. Ice and vending on 6 and 8.

Stay here! They’ve put so much into warning your business!!”

“Cleaner than expected. Wouldve been 5 stars it it weren't for the single bug crawling around in the bathroom.Beds were comfy. Pillows could be switched out, too thin. Great for what I needed last night. Will def stay again, when the need arises.”

“The room was very clean. The room did not have any bed bugs or cockroaches. The only thing I did not like was the service and the location could have been better. The man at the front desk never opened up the door he never smiled and never said thank you have a great stay. The location downtown Memphis Tennessee I thought would have had more to see and do, but it's a very old state with not a lot to do?.I was ready to come back home to Dallas Texas.”
